I can’t help but think about Rumple’s obsession with names. I know it links back to the fairytale, but I wonder if it has a deeper meaning. 

In many magical tales, we can see that names hold power over a person. A good example of this in use is, Harry Potter where Voldemort’s name is a very powerful thing.

 I would like to believe that this theory transfers to the laws of Storybrooke. That a persons’ name can give you some sort of power over them when it comes to magic like Dr. Faciliers’.

Imagine, if once the realms are united by regina, that there is still a shred of doubt that Facilier is dead and that, although we know he wouldn’t hurt regina, who’s to say he wouldn’t hunt down the rest of the heroes. 

Emma would clock onto the ideas of names being powerful, as we’ve seen her come close before. Scared of another Villain coming into the picture Emma and Killian take as many precautions as possible to stop their daughter from becoming a saviour, since she is the product of true love like her mother.

 One of these precautions include giving her a false name, or maybe not false but calling her by her middle name. 

The only people that know her true name are Emma, Killian and Hope. Her grandparents, henry and regina know that Hope is her middle name but agree that it is best if they don’t know. 

Of course Hope is literally royalty amidst the united realm and goes by Princess Hope until her fathers nickname catches on, then she becomes Princess *insert cute nickname here*.

Imagine if we got another season and we got to see all this before. Instead of a leather jacket like her mother, Hope’s armour would be her name. She alone would decide who gets to know the real her and the passing of her name is the truest form of trust.

...and they lived happily ever after!

Sorry I'm late. In honor of the series finale of Once Upon a Time and the royal wedding yesterday I disneybounded as my favorite character Regina Mills in her Evil Queen wedding crasher outfit from the very first episode. I love how this look turned out! Regina is always one of my favorite characters to bound because she has the most incredible outfits, especially the fairytale ones. I loved her in the finale, the episode was amazing (and a bit weird in true OUAT fashion), I love the ending, even if I cried during the entire episode. I’m having a hard time believing that #OnceUponATime is really over... This show has been such a huge part of my life for the last 7 years and last night they aired their series finale, it just doesn’t feel real. I have learned so much from this amazing show. I’ve learned to never lose hope, that good can come from broken, that everyone deserves a second chance to change for the better, that even believing in the possibility of a happy ending can be a very powerful thing and so much more. Even though it’s the end of an era, we need to keep the magic alive by spreading hope, accept people for their differences and believe in our dreams because anything is possible if you just believe. I’ll always be a #oncer and #evilregal! I said a lot of this yesterday but I want to say it again... Thank you @adamhorowitzla and @edwardkitsis for creating this wonderful story, especially when it came at a time where I was struggling to figure out what I wanted to do and inspired me to get my degree and become a writer. There has never been a show that has been so close to heart until Once Upon a Time.
