HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A CUTER HEAD TILT? THURMAN is another 2022 SUFP HOPE CAMPAIGN inherently good soul being featured in hopes that rescues around the country as well as adopters will take on and adopt dogfighting survivors. These amazing dogs continue to prove that while they have been horrifically victimized by the evils of humanity, their spirits cannot be broken. Thurman is one of the “Great 108” lucky enough to be rescued. The @standupforpitsfoundation contributed $20,000.00 to help cover their care and remain committed to telling their stories because they matter and deserve loving dedicated homes just like all dogs do. He comes out of his kennel SO proud to show you all his toys and can't wait to eat snacks with you in your lap. He wants to sit right by you (or on top of you) and get his daily massages and tell you all the things that have happened in his kennel since he last saw you. It's truly his favorite part of the day. Thurman currently shares his room (separate kennels) with his best buddy and fellow survivor from #thegreat108, Clarence. We like to think that when we tuck them in for the night, they stay up late playing on their Nindendo Switches and trading baseball cards. We don't know if that's really what happens, but we CAN tell you that Thurman seems to want to get to know other dogs.  We are looking for a foster, foster to adopt, or adopter for our very best boy. This inherently beautiful soul is Eggnog. A dogfighting survivor rescued in Detroit back in November, now being featured as one of the SUFP HOPE CAMPAIGN dogs. In addition to providing financial support for the #great108 survivors we are also raising awareness about who these inherently good dogs are. Their stories and lives matter and we hope by showing who they are more people and rescues will take on and adopt victims of dogfighting. Sweet Eggie is a survivor from #thegreat108 and even though she assures us that she doesn’t remember anything from her past life of dogfighting, her sweet little face bears the scars of her horrific past. We first met Eggnog in mid-November, her tiny body was weighed down with a heavy chain and she was hopping on and off a dilapidated old dog house. We’ve had the pleasure of knowing and loving her every day since, and are so thankful to the HOPE campaign for sharing more about her story. Miss Eggie would like us to remind everyone that she is available for foster, adoption, or rescue transfer. She kindly requests to be the only pet in her future home.
