Hey, so lots of love for this blog and a quick question if you have the chance! So I'm in London for the last week of October and I really wanted to do a Sherlock Holmes tour. Any recommendations? I've found a few online, but I'm not sure what's the best. Or would it be better to come up with my own itinerary? Lots of love if you have the chance to answer! (P.S. If anyone in the area wants to join me/even meet up, I'll buy you a coffee haha)

Hey there, Maria here. So, if you wanna book one of the official London Walking Tours, they are very good, especially the tours led by Richard 4 are super interesting; the man is an encyclopedia on legs concerning all things Doyle and Holmes. So if you can find one of those walks, they are absolutely worth the money.

If you wanna visit some of the shooting locations from Sherlock BBC, Sherlockology have a super helpful guide on their website, so you can check out some of the locations which you can easily find. Make sure to visit Speedy’s in North Gower Street (East of Euston Station). They are the super nicest people and the food is amazing and of course they have loads of photos inside the cafe from when they filmed Sherlock there.

The Sherlock Holmes pub is also nice to go to for the pictures and props they have inside; and there is a small Shrlock Holmes museum upstairs next to the restaurant. They also serve Sherlock Holmes ale (which isn’t exactly super good, but well) and Watson ale which tastes of honey and is therefore superior (in my humble opinion).

And then there is obviously the Sherlock Holmes Museum in Baker Street and the Bank where the original 221B would have been, had it existed back in the day.

I don’t know if any of the London based Babes are around for coffee, but I’ll make this public so people can get in touch with you should they be around and up for a similar adventure :)
