being kin from obscure sources is frustrating, sure, but being kin with relatively unpopular side characters from non-obscure sources is almost more frustrating. like, it’s so hard to find anyone who holds genuine interests in the implications with me, and even if i DO find people they could get me wrong or mold and shape me into something i’m not (and hey, wonder where that’s happened before?).

plus, most people find interest in me through my relationships to other characters. it’s not even that i hate the shipping! i find it fun! but where is the character analysis! deconstruct me a little maybe! i mean i was literally possessed for an extended period of time and then had my sense of self effectively ripped away from me as a power source on a whim - that’s interesting, isn’t it? that’s fun!! explore that!!

maybe i’m just a sucker for character analysis, or maybe i just want to see people that get it, you know?

I might’ve sent something in along these lines earlier? I’m not sure. I think I scrapped it though so I’m Back Again. While obviously “the Mayor” was my position-slash-job-title, it’s. That’s not my Name. Because my Name was WV, which was primarily-but-not-always Wayward Vagabond, and as you’ll notice, that doesn’t say “the mayor” now does it! Honestly a lot of what fandom makes of me in General is kind of reductive, people infantilize me and say things like “oh the mayor is like Dave’s son” as if I’m not A Full Adult Who Mobilized A Rebellion. That or Fritz Huhnmörder aka the mad scientist(yes he has an actual name) from the opening intro/a few sketches of the first few seasons or so of Robot Chicken.
