thank you for the ask game, anon! i’ll try my very best, and i’ll only be doing moots that i’m closest to or have been talking to often lately! (if any of you wants to be friends/moots, please don’t be shy to dm me ><) + i think i got carried away with some... (and i think i got confused with the instructions) but, hey! anything for the ppl who i cherish and will always try my best for ^3^

i would describe how i perceive my wifey, @miumura, in the words:

attentive, because she’s very attentive to my words and my actions, and she remembers even the things that i don’t remember mentioning.

fate, because she came into my life when i was longing for someone that i could go to anytime, anywhere𑁋a best friend. and because a lot of things about us are coincidentally the same or perfectly matching ㅋㅋ

teddy bear, because soph is warm and comforting like a teddy bear, and she listens to everything i say without leaving out anything at all, and with her, i can slowly let my true self out, showing her the lili without any filters.

bracelet, because she loves these kinds of things ^^ keychains, collectibles, lucky charms (phi is my lucky charm~), and plushies (chiikawa!!! heh): but i perceive her like a bracelet (if that makes sense... TT) because i will cherish her and our friendship like a friendship bracelet i used to make when i was in fourth grade.

light house, because she always give me advice on a lot of things, and in a way, she’s like my light house, always guiding me where to go.

for @tzyunaes, i would say that the words that i perceive her are:

first, sister, because she is truly like one of the older sisters i never had but truly needed.

second, nurturing, because jenjen is again, she’s the older sister figure that i feel i’ve always wanted and needed. she also makes me feel cared for, and surrounds me with a sense of emotional warmth, and i always feel like the younger sister when i’m with her!!

third is home, because jen is somehow always there for me, and her dms make me feel so welcome TT she’s truly a reliable presence is one’s life, and i’m sure all of her friends agree ^^

fourth is sweet, and that’s because jennifer is a kind, very thoughtful and affectionate towards those she adores.

fifth is memes, because, well, jenn has this ability to somehow make me laugh (especially with how in love she is with sunghoon heheheh), and she turns on my “mischievous maknae mode” whenever i’m with her, so that shows how witty and clever she is as well ><

the first word would be soulmates because, duh, we’re #soulmatez!!!

second is adorable, because guys, both her personality and her looks just make me squeal and swoon all the time because danielle is SO SO CUTE!!

third, protective, because from what i’ve seen, danielle is very loving and protective of those she loves, and she would do anything for them. this shows what type of person she is: deeply caring for others, and making sure that her loved ones feel valued.

fourth is talented, and this is because, hey, you can’t spell danielle without talent!! have you seen her works, her themes, and her hobbies? i swear, she’s an ace. (just like heeseung wink wink)

and finally, sunshine, because she never fails to make me smile in countless ways, both big and small. she has this warmth and positivity that makes my day, and with that reason alone, she’s such a sunshine ^_^

for my OG older sister, @okwonyo,

you’re my role model. i can’t stress how much i look up to you, i admire your talent, your confidence, kindness, courage, and you are someone that inspires me to strive to be better each time.

secondly, you’re elegant and kindhearted, and i think these words by itself explains a lot about you, jiah ^_^

fourth, you are courageous, and that is a trait of yours that i admire a lot as well. you are brave and willing to speak up, and you aren’t afraid to correct me when i make mistakes, and this shows how honest and strong you are.

lastly, (i’m not sure if this is a word but) you remind me of a carebear. (i take this for granted a lot of times, and i regret it a lot ㅠㅠ) this is because you care a lot, and your ability to guide and correct me shows a lot about how much you care for me, just like an older sister will always do <3

can you do a tutorial on how to to do your themes?

i have got this ask i think .. an hundred times and i think i never answered properly to it. so, let’s go ! today, i am giving you the complete and detailed guide how to do a theme like mine ^_^

HOW TO MAKE A THEME, OKWONYO STYLE, 101

first step. choose an icon ! before even choosing the pictures for the theme, i choose the pictures for the blog’s icon and the header. usually, i find them on the idol’s instagram, twitter and pinterest.

second step. look for pictures ! to be honest, i rarely search for “[color] aesthetic” on pinterst. i usually just look into my “themes&aesthetic” board on my own page.

what i recommend is to take time to scroll on pinterest and always save pretty images that you know will be great on a theme. it can also really helps for work’s layout.

when you want to make a new theme, you just have to tap on the images you want and pinterst will show you pictures that have the same vibe / color scheme.

when i make a theme, i try to put pictures that go well together. i don’t look for pictures with all the same color, but i look for colors that go well with each other. as colors have different shades, i think it is harder to make a theme with only the one color.

after finding what i want, i put theme next to each other— in a way that sits right with me.

third step. add your own touch ! what i like to do is to modify my pictures (add my name, add cursive letters, put a black and withe filters). the applications i use for this are phonto, picsart, capcut and ibispaint.

i find the fonts on pinterst. as for the pictures, i have a board just for the fonts as well. if you need a tutorial for how i do my header here. however, this is an hold one, i don’t really do headers like this anymore ^^

for the gifs, i use pngs from pintersts that i keep in a board and use ezgif.com to go from video to gif !

forth step. put texts ! to link my navigation, moots and carrd, i need to add texts. i mostly take bios from song lyrics or create my own like i did for the texts on my pinned currently.

to modify the fonts, i use yaytext.com ! and to find the symbols i go on accounts like @/espuor or @/oatelier.

fifth step. to finish, i incorporate colors in my theme.

sometimes, color the texts on pinned with studdbydavid.com. here is a quick little tutorial on how to use.

these days, i also like to change the background and accent colors. for this, i use ibis paint to take colors from my theme directly.

to add a lick on my account, i use this : <a href="insert link">insert word</a> and put in on my blog’s settings on tumblr. com !

i also add the links for my navigation on places that look good. i don’t put two different links and words that are next to each other ^^

hi everyone, so i woke up this morning those two asks, basically saying that i should apologize because other people are getting hate because of me or that i should give credits to people because i “take inspiration” from others too.

i am going to make this statement one time and never again. and i hope that i won’t have to make this statement again.

i don’t really know what do you guys want me to do. i don’t understand why i always should be the one apologizing for things i have no control of when i also get tons of hate too. i don’t understand why most of you spend your time dehumanizing me, acting like behind okwonyo there is no teenage girl as well. why would i apologize for the actions of others? why should me—who is living my life peacefully— should apologize for the hate others are causing in my name?

the anon said that i never addressed the issue but it’s not true. everytime i see something like this, i tell the anons to stop. please understand that those anons are not the ones i sent directly, they are not the one i created or the one i order around. i am not a military commander, the only thing i do is write and vanish. nothing more or nothing less.

it has come to the point where everything people do is somehow my fault. because i have a bigger plateform than most or whatever the reason is. but somehow, when it’s my turn to get hated on for things that i have no say on— no is taking my defense, no is comforting me or giving me support. and honestly it is getting quite tiring.

i am not just a writing machine. i am not just there to give you fics and get hated in return. i am human too and i want you all to acknowledge what i am going through as well.

to all the creators that are getting hate because of me, i sincerely apologize. i never saw anyone getting hate if not a few. but i am sorry my name is being brought up for stupid, mean and heartless reasons. for the ones that know me the best, i am not this kind of person. i have only radiated love for others. i wish anons could understand that i don’t need them to take my defense.

for the copying theme allegations. there is a difference between taking inspiration a little bit and plain copying. when i take inspiration from someone i give credits and i have showed this many times. if you think i don’t receive tons of hate because of my themes it’s only because i never answer hate anons. as i think there are not very useful on my account.

for the sru part in particular i don’t understand why i should give credits to her because she did it first. there is absolutely nothing in common between our banners if it’s not the shape or the image splitting in two that i already used before. someone probably had an account before me, should i credit them too for that? someone wrote for enha before, should i credit them first for that? there is barely any similarities between our themes. why i am the one blamed for hate others are creating?

they won’t stop, even if i ask them. because they don’t hate other to defend me but because they want to. understand that the hate doesn’t come from love to me. it’s clearly people who love to harass others and use me as a reason when i asked nothing.

sru and i talked. she never stated she wanted me to give her credit. so why should i do it because you ask me?

you blame because others are getting hate because i did something first. but you are doing exactly the same thing. you are part of the problem too. me? i don’t do that. so yes, my heart is light. because i apologized to sru for what is happening. because i talked to her. because yes, we exist out of tumblr as well.

now, with this being said, my only wish is that you can see me as a person too. i am not a celebrity or a robot. my role is not to do anything more than write and answer asks. take a sit back and think before saying that the reason other people are receiving hate is me without blaming anonymous like you that are too noisy.

none of my friends are sending hate because we all have a life. because we all love people.

i am showing this proof to just say that me doing graphics is not new. those are the things (right and left) that i tried to make my theme more original— that i have been reusing since then. i am not showing this to make anyone upset or to encourage hate towards anyone. but just to make you understand that i reuse my own ideas most of the time.
