think one of the cutest unspoken things in serv.amp is the fact that while ash went through so many hundreds of years of depression he met a lot of people who grew to care for him, like ... it's a really clear reminder that no matter how low you feel, or how you may look after yourself, there is always parts of you that remain beautiful and people will still consider themselves your friends / fall in love with you / care for you / idolise you and that is so important.

Heathcliff sin analysis, but this time its just R Corp and Sunshower

My second post ever and its the same as the first, but smaller this time. After thinking about it, I figured that I should retry to do R Corp Heath and Sunshower Heath because I did not do good with them. So I decided to look at them again along with looking at what people had said about them. Before starting, of course this was made using @lu-is-not-ok’s sin affinity guide, because its really good and yes I will not stop asking people to look at their stuff. They did it before me and are doing to much better than me so check them out. But lets get started with analyzing Heathcliff’s IDs......but again. Also I'll probably do a quick version of this once Seven Association Heath comes out.

Spoilers Ahead

R Corp. 4th Pack Rabbit Heathcliff Again

Wrath - Wrath is his first sin, and so the most surface level sin. Wrath is the sin of defiance, which unlike what i originally said, could make sense. As @orfs had said, RHeath survived the Hatchery, defying death and taking pride in the fact that he made it, even if he is disposable. But something else is that him being a clone can technically be a defiance against The City and The Head. Multiple clones existing at the same time is illegal, but R Corp gets around this by using T Corp tech. While his current existence doesn’t break the rules, he did technically defy the rules of The City and made it out alive, even if it was just for a short time.

Gluttony - RHeath’s Gluttony is sorta obvious. He had to survive the Hatchery and he did. One way to look at Gluttony is for the hunger to survive, and he accomplished that. Another way to look at Gluttony is similar to Greed, to want more. More money, more power, etc. In this instance, it would be for combat. RHeath always wants more missions, more fighting, he always wants to be fighting. Even when fulfilling an extra condition in a stage, he wants to immediately go back into the fray.

Envy - Envy is RHeath’s core sin, which is very interesting for him. Because he is a confirmed clone (Thanks Meursault), as @lu-is-not-ok said, he would most likely be under heavy pressure from R Corp to do the best job he can, because if he didn’t, then they would either put him back into the Hatchery with the possibility of not making it out and a different Heath taking his place, or just outright getting rid of him. Another way it could be seen comes from @riellegaming. They said that it could be possible that RHeath’s Envy is based around the fact that he never got the chance at a normal life. The reason for this is because all the R Corp IDs have envy in some way. All the R Corp IDs never got a chance at a normal life. We don’t know if our sinners can actually affect the versions of themselves from different worlds. We know that versions from different worlds can influence them, but it could be the other way around as well. It’s possible that the R Corp IDs remember atleast parts of their time with Dante and the other sinners, experiencing a life where they are more than just expendable soldiers, and some part of them grows envious of that, whether they show it or not. Rhino Meursault has Envy as his first sin, which seems odd just in general for him. Meursault himself doesn’t really care what others say to him, you give him an order and he will follow through, no matter how heinous, and I don’t see that changing for a version of him that exists to follow orders. But it could be possible that even he, on some small level, is envious of his sinner counterpart, while Heathcliff might hide it, but wishes very often that he could have LCB Heathcliff's life, even with all the pain and suffering it would bring.

Lobotomy E.G.O::Sunshower Heathcliff Again

Sunshower Heathcliff gave me issues last time...a lot of issues. But having recently gotten him (at time of writing) has made me think about this version of Heath. And also is the reason I'm doing this again but with the two that needed to be looked at a bit closer than before. With all that said, @lu-is-not-ok did an analysis of Impending Day Sinclair/Doomsday Calendar (go check it out), and while reading it, I had a thought. If the EGOs can have information and ideas brought forth from the abnormality they are based on, then why can't the E.G.O gear IDs? So that's what I'm doing. That's right, your on a post about Heathcliff and now your gonna read my thoughts, ideas and ramblings about Drifting Fox and how its story and themes can connect to Sunshower Heathcliff.

Drifting Fox

The Drifting Fox itself has quite a bit to it. The basics of its log is Sinclair feeling sad for the creature, being able to feel the pain and sadness that it does. This is while Faust tries to convince him that the Fox is just trying to manipulate him, that its nothing more than an abnormality, a creature that just wants to kill the sinners. Interestingly enough, Heathcliff is also present in the logs, saying that the sinners not doing what they are told will get them killed, and comparing the Fox to the Fairy Gentleman, saying how he wasn’t easy to deal with either. 

Drifting Fox’s MD Event has the sinners finding it in an alleyway, sleeping in a corner, being disguised by the umbrellas. Two options are given, to pull out the umbrellas or to pet the fox. Choosing to pull out the umbrellas has the sinners believe that the umbrellas are causing the Fox pain. When attempting to pull the umbrellas out, the umbrellas do come out, but along with pieces of flesh, hurting the fox, causing it to retaliate and cause damage to all present sinners. The Fox seems to reprimand the sinners for trying to help it without actually thinking about what's happening, causing it more pain. Petting the Fox has two outcomes. On a failure, the Fox is extremely distrustful, yelping when touched and jumping away, before running away, leaving the sinners wondering what else they could have done. Succeeding has the Fox to recede its growling, before it closes its eyes, lays down and becomes the E.G.O Gift itself.

Drifting Fox is about feigning kindness and how that can hurt others. Even if you think you helped, that is only really true when you know what the issue is, and don’t just try to help without asking. The umbrellas are from people who thought they helped the Fox but just ended up hurting it. They believe that they helped and are good people because of it, but they just ended up causing pain.

This is all obvious from its log and MD Event, but something that the log and its fight itself made me think about, is how the Fox doesn’t seem to actually want to fight. In its event it either accepts your kindness, runs away, or retaliates. But before any of these, it growls, and that's it. Its not trying to attack you, its trying to make you leave. No matter the choice, it lets you get close, but only retaliates once you hurt it, and then it leaves. You hurt it and so it hurts you before getting away from you. Its log states how the Drifting Fox is wary of the sinners and watchful. It sometimes waits and does nothing, just watching the sinners, before retaliating with a powerful attack. It doesn't want to fight the sinners, and only does it once it has to. It tries to ward others off, to get them to leave it alone, so that it can find an alleyway, and sleep. Alone. Its only attachment being the umbrellas stabbed into its back. Alone, with his only attachment being the memories of the friends he lost, with a little fox trying to show him genuine kindness, when others wouldn’t.

Sunshower Heathcliff is in the same situation. Different circumstances, the same result. The Drifting Fox wants to be alone, it doesn’t want to fight and only does when it has to. Heathcliff only wants to be alone, he doesn’t want to fight but only does because he has to.

Drifting Fox and Sunshower Heathcliff share two sin affinities, Sloth and Gloom, with Fox having Gluttony while Heath has Envy.

Drifting Fox: Gloomy Moan/Raging Withdrawal (Sloth) - Sloth represents apathy, resignation, and inaction. This makes sense as the Drifting Fox’s two “surface” sins. Both its Skill 1 and Skill 2 are this sin, showing what we already know. It wants to be left alone so it can do nothing and just sleep in a corner, away from others.

Sunshower Heathcliff: Umbrella Thwack (Envy) - Heathcliff’s Envy here, i believe, is what i originally said and due to the friends he lost. He hates technology, he wants to liberate The City from all technology as a part of the TLA. But he also wants to liberate technology, not out of loyalty to the TLA, but for his friends. Sunshower Heathcliff says in his uptie story that his friends all died to technology, one way or another. One lost their job and starved, one got their flesh taken apart, and others were worked like cogs in a machine like junk. He’s doing this out of love for the friends he lost. Just like Dongbaek, the hatred for technology is only the front for their true goal. Dongbaek, to get revenge on Dongrang. And Heathcliff to get revenge for his lost friends.

Drifting Fox: Sorrowful Recoil/Sorrowful Torrent (Gluttony) - Gluttony for the Drifting Fox is its hunger for survival. It just wants to be alone, but if it is threatened, it will not hold back against those that hurt it. It will kill, but only when it needs to, when its survival is threatened. It doesn’t want to fight or kill, but it will when it has to.

Sunshower Heathcliff: Puddle Stomp (Gloom) - Heathcliff is acting out. He is acting out against The City due to the immense sadness and pain he feels because he lost those he cared about. He regrets the fact that he never showed that he cared, that he enjoyed his time with the friends that he can never see again. His Gloom isn’t just the feeling of sadness for losing his friends, but also his regret for never having truly shown that he cared, he never showed his kindness to them. Heathcliff isn’t the Fox here, he's the stranger that left the umbrella.

Drifting Fox: Cries Seeking Something (Gloom) - Gloom for the Drifting Fox represents its want for genuine kindness. It cries out into the sky, for the possibility that someone hears its cries and comes to help it, to be kind to it. Not the kindness that others have shown, which only hurt it, but kindness that truly makes it happy. The Fox dwells on its feelings of sadness and pain, letting it all echo out into the sky, but acting as a beacon of sorts. A beacon calling for the genuine kindness of strangers. Faust says that the fox is trying to trick and manipulate Sinclair in the log, but I don't think it is. This is a mistake on Faust’s part. She is too robotic, too logical to realize that the pain the Fox feels is real, and that Sinclair is just the one that can feel its sadness the most clearly. Sinclair is one of, if not the most emotional sinner. I do not see a reason for him to not be able to sympathize with the Fox. He has felt pain before, all the sinners have, but he lets it out the most and lets others know about it the most, even if unintentional. It’s not that the Fox is manipulating Sinclair, its that he can feel its pain and sadness, and wants to help, to give it the genuine kindness that it calls out for.

Sunshower Heathcliff: Spread Out! (Sloth) - Heathcliff always wants to sleep. He is always trying to find an excuse to look for an alleyway so that he can curl up in a corner and sleep. But unlike what i originally said, his want for sleep isn’t the reason for him having Sloth. It’s the result. He doesn’t have a Sloth sin affinity at his core because he is tired, he is tired because of his slothfulness. He lost his friends, people that he cared about, its possible that one of these friends could have been Catherine. It’s reasonable to think that for some time, this would have put him in a depression. He didn’t want to do anything, be anything. Just a Fox that slept all the pain away. Even with his Gloom and Envy affinities pushing him to destroy technology as revenge for his friends, the deepest parts of him don’t care. He's fighting for a cause, yes, but his true cause is wanting revenge for his friends. But they are all gone, he's fighting for people that can’t appreciate the fact that he's doing it for them. He is alone and just doesn’t truly care. He knows this, he understands this. He’s fighting a war, for his friends, but even he knows that in reality its for himself. His friends are gone and his quest to destroy all technology is just a way for him to deal with this pain. And even when given the chance to gain a new friend, a little Fox that wants to show him genuine kindness, he tells them to leave. He can’t even bring himself to try to connect with the one being that is trying to help. He is the Drifting Fox that was pet, but yelped and ran away. He was shown true kindness, but can’t bring himself to care. Even with the kindness given to him, he can’t bring himself to accept it.

Completely insane idea: Outis is probably due for a story ID, and Farmwatch seems like an obvious choice. But what if the ID for the end of canto 4 isn’t based on Farmwatch, but is instead based on Who Denies All?

IIRC, all the sinners who’ve gotten EGOs in the battle pass have also gotten an ID that fuels that EGO. Liu Ishmael and Capote, Spicebush Yi Sang and Sunshower. But, thus far, Outis has no identity for her Sunshower.

With Farmwatch, the affinities of Farmwatch would be really bad for fuelling Sunshower. It uses envy, pride, and gluttony, but sunshower only uses gluttony of that 3. And the characterization wouldn’t quite match. Farmwatch’s whole deal is Dongrang deciding to cut away his past, literally and otherwise. But, with the implications that Outis misses her family really damn badly, and with how often her family is subtly referenced? I can’t imagine her doing the same. If you compare her to Dongrang Who Denies All, though, both the required affinities and characterization are much closer.

The big thing with Dongrang Who Denies All is the feeling of emptiness. That all his trophies and accomplishments mean nothing, and that everything he’s done and been respected for was just on the backs of the league. And he rages against it. He says he’ll build a new team, hire a new secretary, build something that will finally fill that void and set him apart. Standing up in such a way, defying his past and seeking something greater, these are things which tie heavily into Wrath - one of his 3 affinities, alongside Gloom and Gluttony. And I could potentially see these being paralleled with Outis.

In Outis’ base EGO, there are corpses from both sides of the smoke war at her feet, suggesting she betrayed one (or both) sides. And if she had war medals and trophies from one of those sides before her betrayal? They wouldn’t mean much anymore They’d just be empty accomplishments. In addition, her base EGO’s line says “the odyssey had a purpose”, as if reminding herself that everything she’s done has been for a reason. But what if it wasn’t? What if all the suffering and pain she’s inflicted and endured has all been for nothing?

When Dongrang experiences this, he rages against it. But, if Outis were in the same position, perhaps she’d reject it in a different way. Perhaps she would ignore it instead, telling herself it doesn’t matter - channeling Sloth rather than Wrath, which would also make the ID perfect for fueling her Sunshower EGO. Anyways. This almost definitely won’t happen. It’s 3am, I’ve probably gotten lots of characterization wrong, lots of stuff here is a stretch. And if nothing else? It’d be a huge pain for pmoon to account for the size/animation differences. (but I’m coping for a new outis identity regardless)

random thoughts i just wanna jot down (umi ch1 spoilers)

what did the letter to natsuhi say? judging by her postmortem bio it was an invitation to duel sent by beatrice, but was there anything more in it? Natsuhi was pretty adamant about beatrice not existing, but after reading the letter she seemed to fully believe in her and came to her portrait to challenge her. I think whatever must have been written down there had to have been kind of drastic for her to change her tune suddenly.

the longer i went through chapter 1 the more i went "man idk maybe it really is just witches and magic straight up" but after seeing the tea party extra im back to my original suspicion. magic exists in a very strange fickle way thats powered by belief but i dont think its existence can rule out the possibility of human culprits. but like batter says without knowing the culprit + their motives its near impossible to put anything else in place.

Batter kept being called a fool or a child throwing a tantrum in the narration of the tea party which might be an indication to the player that "yeah battlers the stupid one here of fucking course magic and witches exist dumbass" which. yeah i think they do but things don't really fall into place quite neatly. maria was excited to reach the golden land and held onto the belief of beatrice and magic throughout the whole chapter, but in the credits epilogue she leaves a message in a bottle saying shes probably dead and pleads for the reader to discover the truth of what happened? why would she want that, she should know, right? and isnt what happened exactly what she wanted? feels fishy.

what bernkastel tells the player bothers me. she says beatrice is a personification of sorts instead of a human being (kind of what i was thinking) and says to beat her you have to understand her and her motives and the rules by which she works and takes actions, i think? thats what my understanding of it was anyways. so will the mysteries be solved the more you understand beatrice and her limitations? how does that work? if thats the case then maybe the way everyone was trying to solve the murders was the wrong approach from the beginning and completely futile. but then if thats the case i dont know how the mysteries would be solvable from the beginning like id heard. hmmmmmmmmmm.

i looked up the meaning of each demon/stake that killed the sacrifices past the third six to see if i could glean any hidden meanings or symbolism. if im not mistaken: eva - lust hideyoshi - gluttony kinzo - greed kanon - wrath genji - pride nanjo - sloth kumasawa - envy some of these are easy to tie together (kanon being wrath and genji being pride are the most obvious to me, kanon was killed while trying to avenge shannon and genji's pride as head servant also led to his death indirectly) but a few are a bit puzzling to me. kumasawa as envy in particular i dont quite get.

im pretty sure genji fully believes in beatrice, and wasnt just trying to ease kinzo's grief or whatever by pretending she exists. he has multiple conversations with kanon where they both talk about beatrice in private and he expresses knowledge of her personality and true nature. how he knows her exactly im not sure, its possible hes just been told secondhand accounts from kinzo but also the way he talks about her in those few scenes makes it seem like he knows her personally. if she had been in a state of half-existence until the final twilight though idk how thatd be the case

Lust is aroace

Inspired by a convo I had with an aroace friend, who's writing a story whose protagonist is a badass aroace seductress. "Aroaces would be the best seductresses, because we'd never actually fall for anyone on the job." And she's. so. right.

It's shown that Lust's job is to be a spy, and likely to seduce men to get information. It's also shown that her siblings, Envy and Greed, both had trouble being Perfect Gears in Father's machine because of their desire for human connection.

But Lust? She and Pride are the golden children of the family. They're the leaders, the bosses. The younger siblings take orders from them. Her being aroace means that she'd never fall for anyone during a job.

Okay, you’re probably going, “uh what?? She was literally created to be lustful what the hell are you talking about?”

The thing is, that’s the POINT.

All of her siblings display the sin they were named after.

Pride? He’s prideful.

Greed? He's greedy.

The one exception? Lust. She never shows romantic or sexual attraction to anyone.

Maybe she's like Wrath, you might say. Maybe she's just good at hiding her sin. But even Wrath is shown to be angry during the series.

"My hands were trembling in anger."

Yes, he's pretty good at hiding it, but we still see him get angry.

The only thing she says that can possibly be interpreted as attraction is when she's literally crumbling to dust:

In the dub, she says "I love how cold and focused those eyes are."

And even then, that's a huge stretch. There's a reason that the romantic cliches are "beautiful eyes like [insert gemstone here]" and not, "his eyes were cold and focused. How romantic!"

I'm just very doubtful that Lust was attracted to Mustang.

"But why doesn't she have the qualities of her sin?"

The thing is, she does!!

Bloodlust.

After all, who needs sex when you have murder?

“Where the hell am I?” Namjoon wakes up in a dark dense room, where all he can see is red aura around a human and dark red eyes.

“Oh Namjoon you finally woke up jesus. Wait can I say that?” The dark figure laughed as he turned on the lights of the room, Namjoon saw 6 other figures laying on the ground unconscious.

“Welcome to.. well it’s not hell, it’s more of a... limbo.”

“Wh-Where I am?” Another male wakes up as the figure with horns walks towards him, raising his chin up.

“I bet you had sweet dreams Yoongi.” He smirked as Yoongi backed away, feeling the unnerving look.

“Well I’m satan! But you can call me Y/N. I know the rest of you aren’t awake so I’ll keep explaining for later.” You winked as you shifted through the door that was made of pure blackness.

“We should wake up the others.” Yoongi said to Namjoon as they both nodded in agreement as they slowly but surely woke up everyone. Some reacting as of yelling and others being utterly confused but quiet.

“What do you mean we don’t know where we are?!” Taehyung yelled out as he stood up banging on the walls to hear no sound come back sending chills down the spine of all of them.

“Holy shit, stop banging on the walls. I’m here I’m here.” You shifted yourself through the wall, seeing all of them with widen eyes seeing your horns fully grown and your claws on your fingers.

“Oh I see everyone is clearly awake. I’ll get to explaining before you think I’m here to torture you or something.” You said as you leaned on the wall.

“You’re in Limbo, not Hell or Heaven matter of fact. You are all at your worst part of your life, rock bottom but with the kindness of my black soul. I’m here to get your shit together and give all of you a second chance.” You said as you walked towards Jimin seeing him slowly back up. You grabbed him raising his shirt up.

“Here. “ You pointed at the top of his abdomen. “You all represent a sin. Lust, Wrath, Greed, Envy, Pride, Sloth, and Gluttony. When you talk about your sin, trust me you will know which one belongs to you. They will appear on your body, and you all can help eachother, whatever humans do. Kill eachother, or talk it out, or whatever fits your pie.”

“But why? Why are you doing this?” Jungkook raised his head up from not being able to make eye contact with you.

“Well, who knows. Maybe I’m nice JK.” You snickered at his nickname, him being shocked at how you know.

“I know all your deepest secrets, I’ve seen worse of course but that’s why you’re not in the burning hell. You have a chance to not go? I don’t need more people to put to work.”

“What if we don’t follow through what you plan?” Hoseok asks as you squatted down to their level as they were still sitting on the cold floor from sleeping.

“Then I get a hard consequence, when you don’t have a successful attempt at a task such as an apology accepted, I will most likely end up dead if you keep doing it as it causes damage to me overtime. So to keep myself from dying I will have to take your soul to replenish on what I lost.”

“Now any questions?”

“Are we going to stay in this room?” Jimin asked.

“No that’s rude to my guests. You all have rooms, I will chose one of you tomorrow about how to tackle your sin. Be prepared even if you aren’t chosen. Get to know eachother also.” You said as you opened the door pulling the entire door with your red aura seemlessly disapearing into the darkness.

“What the fuck.” Seokjin whispered under his breath.

They all looked at eachother to see which one would be the first to stand, who even had the strength to stand. The door was open to a pitch dark hall, they all swallowed as Jungkook had stood up.

“Well we are going to be starve here if we don’t.. move.” Jungkook says as he slowly walks up to the door, looking both ways before taking his first step. The floor glows around his foot, tell him where to take the next step.

“Jeon Jungkook: Room 301.” Jungkook whispers as he read on the floor before following the steps to a door.

Once all of them see that Jungkook didn’t die, they all rose to their feet slowly walking with the glow of their steps leading them. All of their names and room numbers display.

Jungkook is the first one to open the door and he sees an entire living space to top to bottom. A full kitchen that is stacked, a living space, and stairs going up to their rooms. Jungkook looked out of the windows, to only see nothing but black. The rest see the home and break ways exploring the home.

Namjoon discovers a door, not like the others. Painted red while the others were brown. The title on the door “Release your Sins with Satan uwu” Namjoon couldn’t hold back giggling as this guy, or even the guy was odd that was the least he can say. The door had a massive lock on it and the outline of the door was concrete rounding the door.

“Hello Namjoon.” You had snuck up on him as he gasps and turns around. You snicker as you walk up to the door.

“Yeah there’s a lot more crying then talking in this room.” You slide your hand on the carved into title. You turn your head to Namjoon.

“I just hid it with the title. Half the time people don’t even know UwU is a face.” You smile Namjoon seeing your sharp teeth.

“You’ve done this to multiple people?” Namjoon asked as curiosity took over.

“Yeah, you guys are probably my 10th group. 70 people in counting. I’m pretty new at this.”

“Have you almost died yet?”

“Oh jeez, Namjoon. There was a stubborn basterd, then again she was Wrath so what more could you expect. I took her soul.” You showed Namjoon an orb that was hooked on your side, seeing the soul of the women burning red with the embers of fire.

“I am Kim Seokjin, hello.” Seokjin shakes hands with another male, seeing that they are in the same situation might as well get along somehow.

“I am Kim Taehyung. Nice to meet you Seokjin.” Taehyung reaches out his hand to feel Seokjin oddly cold hands but he paid no mind to it.

“What is your sin?” Seokjin asks as Taehyung leaned on the couch, trying to hide his discomfort.

“I don’t know what’s yours?” Taehyung raised a brow seeing such a personal question asked so quickly.

“Sloth. I guess you can say I get pretty bored easily.” Seokjin teases Taehyung almost like he’s telling him that he has more pride to tell his sin.

“Oh the famous Jungkook. Hello, have a seat I’m not satan don’t be afraid of me, but we are sharing our sins, Taehyung didn’t want to but I am Sloth.” Seokjin laughs as he sees Jungkook sit on the leather couch.

“You act like you’re him.” Taehyung snarky remark makes Seokjin scuff.

“Does that mean your tattoo should appear?” Jungkook asks hoping the tension can be dulled down if he can change the topic.

“I would assume so.” Seokjin rises his button up t-shirt seeing the faint words of “Sloth” appear on his skin. Seokjin pulled his shirt down once it was clearly shown.

“You’re Yoongi aren’t you? The one that woke me up? I’m Jung Hoseok” Hoseok waved at Yoongi as he had turned around to stop looking out of the pure black window sky. Yoongi smiles and offers his hand.

“Yeah, nice to meet you Hoseok.” Yoongi says as he turns back to the window, Hoseok stepping towards the window along side Yoongi.

“Who knew one day I’m working then the next I’m here in another dimension.” Hoseok snickered as he brought out his wallet seeing his worker ID.

“What do you do?” Yoongi asks as Hoseok puts his wallet back in his back pocket.

“I’m a detective.” Hoseok shows his badge feeling the pride of his job. Hoseok puffs out his chest as Yoongi’s eyes glowed.

“Can you change this black window? It’s sad to look at.” Hoseok says as he looks around near the windows, seeing an box of settings to change it. Some windows change to an ocean, forest, farmland, and space.

“Do you really think he’s going to give us another chance?” Yoongi asks as he looked down to his old dirty boots that he’s worn for who knows how long.

“What do you mean?”

“I mean, is he just playing with us like a toy to just steal our soul? He’s satan after all.” Yoongi

“Rude, how can you doubt me Yoongi?” You had shifted through the wall hearing their conversation before you had entered the room.

“You’re satan, for starters.”

“Call me Y/N! Satan this, satan that, it gets boring just call me Y/N. Act like I’m a therapist that.. can just shift through walls and steal your soul!” You expressed your care even though you had your horns and claws visible with the hand gestures you had done.

“Okay that’s not helping your case.” Hoseok crosses his hands leaning against the wall.

“You know what- Dinner is ready.” You said as you opened the door hoping they would follow through, seeing the kitchen full of cut vegetables and cooked meat. The main course being spaghetti. Hoseok and Yoongi saw the rest of everyone being in the kitchen.

“Ta da!” You did jazz hands as they all looked at their plates seeing the pitch black plates and the dark red utensils.

“Is it poisoned?” Jimin asks as he sat down in the kitchen which lead all of them to sit down also, sitting on the islands of the kitchen.

You sighed eating the spaghetti in front of them showing them it isn’t poisoned. “See no poison! Plus it’s hard as fuck to get poison in Limbo.”

Names were finally exchanged with everyone, as some had thanked before eating while others ate immediately not knowing how long they haven’t aten. You leaned against a counter watching them interact, you even snickered at some jokes that Seokjin said along the dinner.

“So... Sat-... Y/N how did you chose us?” Namjoon asks as he drinks the home made juice that you made with water. Just because you’re satan doesn’t mean you got money.

“Well, I look at a lot of people, if you felt a cold presence before. That was me watching you, usually in the act of your sin and then after and see how you handle with that. If I see you have a small spark of hope in your soul I write your name down and I basically do that with millions of people. I chose you 7 because you all feel like you are all star-crossed friends that never got the chance to meet.”

All of them look at eachother trying to see if they remember seeing eachother but they’ve been so deep in their struggles and problems that faces don’t register. You see everyone finishing up, placing their plates on top of eachother and utensils. You grabbed the large stack and place them in the sink, leaving the washing for later.

“So last thing, for tonight. Tomorrow I will chose one of you, randomly doesn’t matter who made more snarky comments or treated me like a king. It’s random, you have to tell me your sin and reasons and who you hurt. So prepare for your soul to be split open. It’s better if you work with me, I’m not going to share any of the information you tell me unless you tell the others. Don’t be afraid to cry, I see it a lot I won’t judge you.” You said as all of them were paying close attention. They were still on high alerts, it was natural as they got up walking up the stairs. Looking at their doors and the others in the hall, before opening it and entering.

written about actually being in a manic episode with BPD, ‘ clementine ’ by halsey is one that always makes me, as a writer, think of connor. there are certain lines ( like ‘ im constantly having a break through.... or a break down or a black out ’ ) that ring far too true for his character ( in this case, everytime he feels like things are going good, he feels like he’s breaking through his mental illness, and then when he falls through to the depressed part of a wave, he’s having a breakdown, and sometimes in his manic phases he’ll get blackout drunk or high until he can’t see straight ). its one that, for me personally, makes me think of him in a new light. I could go on forever about this song and connor, so im gonna stop here.

probably gluttony if i had to pick?? but not in the traditional sense. in the ‘ he knows this is bad and self destructive but he cant help but go back to it every time because he’s actually addicted and needs help ’. but he’s getting that help, so things are improving!!  next to that id probably say wrath -- his anxiety causes his anger to flare up and out of control when he feels threatened.

I feel like any time I hear a question that’s like “what would you do with a million dollars?” My first instinct is “pay off any debts, save enough so there’s always food in the pantry, take care of my family, donate as much as possible, pay off people’s medical bills, etc etc”

And I think a lot of people jump to those same answers. Partly bc they’re logical and partly bc like we live in a capitalist hell world

But like those answers are, while valid, depressing and boring. I don’t wanna have to apply reality to a fun hypothetical

So. Instead here’s my question. Let’s say we live in a perfect world where all human suffering has been completely eradicated. All of it. There is literally no one in the world who needs or wants any sort of help.

I want to know what you’d buy with a million dollars. Actually, no. You now have infinite money. What are you buying? Are you going to commission a book? Blow a thousand dollars on video game micro transactions? Buy a tiara made of genuine gold and jewels?

Be as gaudy as possible. Be as selfish and money wasting as possible. (The only rule is you’re not allowed to buy things for other ppl)
