I was tagged by @deraingedhawkeye, so here are my 10 comfort shows

#1- Mash. It will always be Mash. Not going to elaborate because 50% of my blog is this.

#2- Gravity Falls. What else can be said about this show?

#3- My Name Is Earl. I'm still crossing my fingers that there will be a reboot in the near future :(

#4- Bob's Burgers. Such a breath of fresh compared to other adults cartoons. I love watching healthy families thrive.

#5- Three's Company. I love and miss John Ritter so much :( he never fails to make me laugh.

#6- The Monkees. Family sitcoms from 40-70 years get on my nerves because of how overly wholesome they are. But the same vibe applied to a group of characters who aren’t family? Sign me up!! The Monkees are also literally the reason why I didn’t kill myself over Covid so…

#7- Futurama. Same reasons as Bob's Burgers.

#8- King of the Hill. I watched the entire show during the summer between my sophomore and junior year of high school. I love this beyond words. Can’t wait for the reboot :)

#9- The Golden Girls. What hasn’t been said about how great this show is??

#10- The Andy Griffith Show. As said above, not a fan of old family sitcoms, but this one is great. The perfect amount of wholesomeness without being overly annoying or cheesy like Leave It to Beaver or The Brady Bunch. I also love Don Knotts.

Can you tell us about giant's religion or mythology?

I'm sure it'll be fascinating

I certainly can! I have outlined the giantish creation myth in this post, so I shan't get into it here.

There are three main deities; Fraega, goddess of water and nourishment; Bodar, god of fire and metalwork; and Urt, god of life and death. Others that show their faces are Bodar's son Theoin, who often gets into trouble due to his need for besting others in strength contests. The myths often revolve around Theoin and his mortal friend Akri getting into trouble, with a moral that is somewhat loose but still present.

For example;

Akri and Theoin were drinking ale from Fraega's special reserve when they began to boast to one another. Obviously, as a god, Theoin had more feats to crow about than Akri, who began to become a little jealous. Crafty and eager to have just one notch in her belt, Akri proposed a contest. Whoever could carve a river from the source on the crest of a mountain to the sea the fastest would win. Now, Theoin could do this with his eyes closed, as he was a mighty giant with unparalleled strength. However, Theoin let her decide who worked where, and Akri knew that the side that she had picked for him to work on led directly to a forest that held the first community of humans. She knew that despite his might, Theoin had a soft spot for the little creatures, and as he carved his side of the mountain, he soon slowed to a stop, unsure about going further in case he buried the humans. Akri's river ended up being completed well before Theoin had even circumnavigated the forest, and Akrigorge River still runs today.

I believe this is a moral tale about how if you do not choose, somebody will choose for you, and often you will get the short end of the stick. Nevertheless, this is the first mention in the giantish sagas of humanity, which I think was particularly interesting!
