maybe one day i'll write the pick up basketball au that's been floating around in the back of my brain for a while
#originally sparked by the fact that cale mentioned off handedly once that her and josty would play pick up#been thinking about it again bc of the recent basketball games players have been attending#friends hanging out late at night playing pick up and josty or someone idk is like 'hey i have some friends who wanna join'#so in comes nate and some other people idk#obviously cale is good and so is nate and so they have a lil fake competition between them#and then ofc they go to like dennys or ihop after idk#and like probably stargaze and shit on the basketball court#it's a very loose au in my mind except for the late-night-lowkey-tension-filled-under-the stars-pick-up-basketball-games vibes#lowkey they kinda hate each other on the court (but love the competition)#they end up both getting their early to get shots up tho#and oh wait actually they like spending time with each other WHOOPS#idk that's all i got#i feel like no one would be interested in it cause like#there isnt a ton of basketball/hockey overlap idk#EYE would be interested so perhaps one day i will#rambles#my writing
