On my mind for this past year since QEII passed away, I've been calling the way W&C do things as "pretending that they're not THE HEIR and his wife, they just happened to have this new name, it's not a big deal". They moved away from London, they still haven't increased their workload, no official photos as the PoW and his family. It's like they're trying to downplay their own position, and strangely even more insistence to cos-play regular people (probs because they think it would appeal to younger people and monarchy sceptic? IDK). I think that's why they don't have any game plan when this all started. Catherine's ill and has to take time off for 3 months, 2 statements were enough!! The King has cancer, but the heir is busy doing daily school drop off!! They see this as a personal crisis and private matter, not a work crisis with consequences for the institution.

I think I've said it before, but I feel that some of the fans expected the title upgrade to have like a *Diana effect* on them making them instantly iconic and that they would step up and become what the fantasy version of royals they have in mind. I don't think that happened. I like Will and Kate and I think they have great potential, I just, personally, think this is all they are willing to give. They may up their game a little bit later, like obviously, Kate is now recovering and all, but I just don't think it's going to be a super dramatic change. That's my opinion.
