(belated) Halloween costume party!

since orome is obviously the family vala (with aule coming in second) the group costume theme that year was orome. (they do a different vala each year)

yes celegorm does in fact have a horse, yes his horse does actually look somewhat like nahar, and yes he put a rubber horse mask on huan instead.

instead of doing orome + a friend, ambarussa are doing Tall Orome (they did rock paper scissors for who gets to be the head).

aredhel and galadriel show up as orome & vana, but halfway through the party galadriel pops into the bathroom and converts her costume to tulkas:

Bonus: Maglor forgot what the theme was and showed up dressed as a crab

#silm #silmarillion #celegorm #ambarussa #amrod #amras #aredhel #galadriel #celegorm and his valarcon-award-winning orome cosplay and ambarussas Tall Orome costume were assembled right next to each other #celegorm borrowed the outfit from tilion because Real Orome is like fifteen feet tall and none of his clothes would actually fit #the antlers are a headband he made from hollowed out deer antlers #the arrows are even fletched with the same feathers as orome's #huan just gets a rubber horse mask and fake hooves because finding dog costumes for a dog that big is very hard #ambarussa mostly patched their costume together from stuff they found in various brothers closets #the cape is celegorms #the waistcoat is maglors (obviously)#the skirt is maedhros' because his was the only one tall enough for Tall Orome #the pants were made from maedhros' pants and some extra fabric #and the wig is a bunch of brown and purple yarn glued together #meanwhile aredhel convinced nessa to help her steal some of oromes clothes #fingon helped with the alteration (because aredhel is. not good at sewing anything other than repairing a rough seam)#the rest of it (shirt; pants; boots) was looted from fingolfins wardrobe

Quick sketch of these guys, they're all siblings. Geeta is the oldest (31-33~), Nessa is middle kid (24-25~) and Nemona the youngest (17-18~). They're also all descendants of Adaman(/Perrin who is just transfem Adaman in the modern day).

I have to say, I did have some doubts about Ariana Grande's casting as Glinda at first, (though I was always certain that her singing would be killer) but after watching the trailer, I am now more or less convinced that she will do a great job

#i love her more passive aggressive interpretation #though still no slouch in the dramatics #(or at least i think that's what they're going for)#which i feel was the right call for the new medium #there are so many parts of the show that only really work on stage #glinda's characterization and a lot of the humor surrounding that being one of them #unless you're trying to go FULL camp and even then it's a delicate balance #you're at more of a risk of the audience cringing at the antics #i only JUST started the og book so let me know if i'm wrong but #i believe that was a holdover from there too #i do still have problems #for example: fiyero is STILL whitewashed (come on guys)#and i'm nervous about how they're going to handle nessa #also the length of the whole story (which i suspect has something to do with adding back in stuff from the books)#but my hope for it being good has shot up significantly #elphaba looks and sounds AMAZING i have nothing but confidence in her #wicked #star rambles about shit #the things i make

Horsies in the Plex if Roxy is a horse lover before she knows they've ever existed here is really good honestly. She's off exploring, finding random horse themed things and immediately drops what she's doing to run over to Vanessa with it like "LOOK WHAT I FOUND!!!" cause Vanessa also likes horsies and is the reason Roxy likes them so much in the first place.

Like it starts with a prop horseshoe or something. Then she's finding plushies and building a little collection of them, making sure to give Vanessa one every time she finds a new one. Then she finds a random ass saddle or a bunch of prop hay bales or something. A bridle. Some bit pieces. A harness for a wagon. The wagon itself. Horse action figures. Whatever else. She's been excited about every single thing she's found so far and wonders how much more there is to find...

Opens a new storage room door and she finds actual fucking horses. Deactivated, dusty as hell, animatronic horsies.

Fucking grabs Vanessa and takes off running into areas Vanessa is absolutely not allowed to be in at all to show her all the horsies sndjjd like "VANESSAA!!! THERE'S HORSES!!!! NESSA HORSES ARE REAL!!! THEY REALLY EXIST NESSA LOOOOK!!!!"

#there's so much fun with these horsies #listen she's got a special interest that makes her super happy #all tail wags and tippy taps while her four minis get so excited for her #biggest enablers of the special interest jdjdnid #oh and for the record vanessa does NOT have a special interest here. she was a horse kid growing up and still likes them #but she's nowhere near as interested anymore #Roxy just shows up and drops a horse plushie on her so excited about it and vanessa is...#well she's shocked cause where the fuck did that come from but also what do you MEAN it's hers??#this is the thing with roxy. her dog programming makes strong emotions really hard to contain #so she HAS to show her the horsies and she HAS to run loops around her to do it #when she's excited enough about something sitting still feels like a death sentence she's actually going to EXPLODE #she's a little bean!!! cute and adorable and a good bit overwhelming to the unprepared!!!#the downside is that thus carries over to sadness anger frustration and every other emotion she can feel #she can't contain shit. she can kind of mask with overconfidence but only if she's had time to calm down first #she's just so dog like that #fnaf security breach #roxanne wolf #plex history: horses #they have an official tag now because i love them #fnaf vanessa #yeah sure fuck it I'll tag them both shjdj #i just have this mental image of roxy running in at the end of nessa's shift to give her a pony plushie #but the day guard is there to swap with her so he bares witness to excited puppy roxy and is so fucking confused #she gets super embarrassed when she notices him but poppet and tippy are like 'hey... hes probably jealous'#and she fucking shoots off to go get him one too. fucking blasts the door down when she gets back to hand him a horsie #'tippy said you'd be jealous so i got you one too.' and he's so fucking confused cause who the FUCK is tippy???#Vanessa behind Roxy just nodding and gesturing to go with it and when he does she's both surprised and overjoyed he likes the horsies too #still embarrassed but HORSIES!!!#'where did you even get these??' anduin has apparently been missing for three years when dragonflight starts, after he was corrupted and traumatised by the jailer’s domination magic, and i can’t stop thinking about the idea that he’s spent those few years with annika and keeshan.

#txt #ch: annika dobrovski #like!! ok hear me out!!#annika was left traumatised after BFA when she was corrupted by the old gods #and so following the war's conclusion she and keeshan left the alliance and disappeared into the wilderness to attempt having a normal life #with only a handful of people even knowing where they ended up settling (somewhere in the mountains of the middle eastern kingdoms)#and anduin was definitely one of those people #so when he goes through a very similar experience with the jailer and almost fears who he is now he first starts aimlessly wandering azeroth #after leaving sylvanas behind in the maw #until one day he hears something about annika (maybe a war story told over drinks in a tavern somewhere)#and Immediately packs his few things and heads off to where he knows she and keeshan settled #cut to a few weeks later - annika sitting in her small garden planting flowers with her a five year old ivana #when her worg natalya suddenly bounds off into the trees and freshly-melted snow howling #only to return moments later trailing behind a sullen haunted looking anduin #little ivana standing with dirt on her cheeks and asking who he is #and annika just slowly standing - brushing her hands clean on her pants - and smiling a small sad smile of understanding #anduin is barely holding himself together after everything that's happened and so when annika quietly walks up to him and places a gentle #hand on his arm and asks if he's okay - he just folds her in a hug and starts to cry #that night once keeshan's returned from town with a 3 year old nessa - he and annika agree that anduin can stay as long as he likes #ivana is constantly asking him questions about anything and everything - and many of the books in the dobrovski household are crayon-marked #and the whole house is covered in wolf fur and is just a little too small for three adults and two young children #but it's the first time in a long time that anduin's felt like he has a home! a real home! probably since his dad died honestly #and so he happily helps with chores and goes with annika into town and hesitantly drinks ale with keeshan on the front porch #and lets himself heal from the trauma he's experienced #idk idk idk #i am having so many thoughts and feelings rn and None of it is coherent because hardly any of the moots care about wow #anyway sorry for wow oc posting on main 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡#oh and also #f: dobrovskis
