so fun news about "of trees and telepathy" :)

we started off fist fighting the printer until i put this sticky note on it and then it magically worked. we will not be discussing the... far too many wasted pages from the first few attempts at printing

then came the fun part: sewing the booklets together >:)

and then it was just. so much glue, SO much glue and waiting for it to dry but now! 3 days later "Of Trees and Telepathy" is fully bound!

thank you so so much for letting me bind it <33 i had a blast, it'll be joining my few other bound fics (its a small collection rn but its growing) i didnt intend to make it so soon, however... i got hit with the must create bug and just couldnt stop myself because frankly i love binding and it was the weekend so i figured why the hell not. again, thank you for letting me do this, im so glad to have this one on my shelf <33

filled with a wave of nausea, he tosses his pink drink on the carpet floor and kicks his feet against it, moving on to the next room. no, he did not care for the warning of no consumption around the exhibition rooms — he's been here a thousand times and has always made a scene of eating whatever he wanted, wherever he wanted, and it would be no different now; like then, he is not stopped either. in fact, he gives a bright sneering smile to the peacekeeper at the door as he walks in another room, taking out a flask from inside his jacket and pouring in the glass he had just emptied a few moments ago. before he can take a sip, however, someone comes in his line of vision, and the blond halts his step.

"if you could have anything from this room. anything at all," he makes a motion with his glass, towards all of the artifacts from all times of panem, some perhaps even older than the treaty of treason itself. "what would it be?" constantinus gives a tilt of his head to his interlocutor. "and what would you do with it?"

Oh yeah, got to go the farmer's market (when we ship cattle we happen to be doing so beside a farmer's market) today and try a crack at lady luck for stuff at the vendors- sadly nothing on my huntlist at the used book vendor or the rock/mineral vendor, but was expected. The Dragonriders of Pern series is very sought for collectors and Trilobites are a bit unconventional fossils for typical pretty-rock-stock.

There were more plant vendors than I was used to seeing at that market though!

The biggest shocks for me though was one vendor was selling potted white trilliums ($12 for 1 or 2 for $20) and small flowering Magnolias for $30

sometimes i think about how from 2019 to 2020 i had debilitating pain from ovarian cysts every month the week after my period and went to the er three separate times and after one trip was given an opioid pain killer that did not do anything and i never got answers beyond finding out the birth control cocktail in the ring makes me incredibly depressed to the point of being suicidal and they just eventually stopped and just have to chuckle
