Red books feel extra festive in December! I’m really looking forward to starting The White Road soon. Hello everyone! Hope your week is going splendiferously. I’m back today with a books that match my sleeves post inspired by Claire at @youcantbeatagoodbook when I saw it on her page. The sleeve itself (on the top of the stack) is from @paperandword and I’m absolutely obsessed with their sleeves. They do paperback, e-reader and hardback options and this particular sleeve has the beautiful tree imagery on the outside and a lovely turquoise colour on the inside which you can just about see in this image. (Not sponsored by the way, I’m just a fan! 🤣) These are some of my most stunning black and white books. I’ve read The Five and The White Road (both favourites of mine and HIGHLY recommended). I’m currently reading Book Of Night in this gorgeous @illumicrate edition and the final three books - Watch Her Fall, The Searcher and The New Wilderness are still on my TBR. Lovely gift from my beloved of the Sarob Press reissue of Ron Weighell's The White Road. Having completed our customary Yuletide rewatch of The Box of Delights (the recent stage play was excellent but nothing comes close to the BBC production), it's time to relax, break out the MR James box set, and enjoy a rare period of quiet.
