Wasn’t it such a big deal last year when the AFHF location was leaked? And now it’s all over twitter and instagram again😭 I know we don’t know the exact location yet or date but like where’s the line then?? It’s okay to reveal the country but anything else is too much?

Ugh… I remember.

I will never understand the secrecy around it all and the repercussions HLD for instance, had to endure because they reported about a website mentioning the AFHF was going to be in Spain. I wasn’t even surprised because we had known for months that it was going to be in Spain. (one of the bands (I can’t remember who) added the Spanish flag to their celebratory post about playing at AFHF)

And didn’t that all lead to Louis blocking @hldailyupdate as punishment? That was such a stupid move of him. I still don’t get why he did that. In the meantime @lthqofficial utilizes @hldailyupdate as if nothing has happened. 🤦🏼‍♀️

It reminds me of how my post with a screenshot and amazon link of the leaked FITF album got flagged by Tumblr - like what’s the point going after fans who did nothing wrong but comment on a leak that was never their fault to begin with…

Sorry I kinda fell into a rabbit hole of emotions there hahaha.

Oh ew the OF accounts and sex bots are completely getting out of hand. I haven’t been notified of any new followers but I don’t trust tumblr to do so. I’m have to gonna check on that soon 🙄🙄.

And seriously for what reason are people flagging down your works for like 😭😭?? It literally makes no sense??? Some people are so rude and mean and spiteful for no reason like. Do better or screw off unintentionally quoting Ego here I’m sorry that this happened to you, it really sucks.

Ever since break started I’ve been in a kind of limbo. It feels so surreal not having any work to do. I mean I do have basic chores to do today like the laundry and vacuuming and stuff but besides that it’s a free day. I am. Very very very. Temped to start reading the blue lock manga. I know I said I’d wait for the anime to finish but like I need something to do 😭😭. I was starting my first TR reread since the last chapter but I only got in 3 chapters before I started sobbing and I haven’t even gotten to Akkuns first death or met Mikey and Draken for the first time again yet. I’m gonna have to chunk my way through it while sobbing and taking so many breaks because I will seriously never recover from this manga. OH AND I LOVE CHIFUYUS BIRTHDAY ART. Wakui continuing to attest that yes takefuyu are still canon in the reset timeline. It’s such a relief for me because those two are my comfort duo 😭😭😭. I also want to finish Chainsaw Man soon. I stopped at around volume 9 because I’m broke and was reading it at the bookstore and all I can say is that this series is definitely getting a reread cause I love analyzing strange works and concepts. THE MAITAKE COVER ASJKGFJKHFFGGG. The way I screeched when I first saw it like. I love how you worded it, they literally look like royalty together UGH. Suffice to say that yes maitake fans has a field day with the cover of volume 31 😌😌. I cant wait for the inside cover to be revealed. My prediction/demand is that it’s gonna be then as children childhood-friends-to-lovers. But I guess we’ll see.

Tumblr decided to not let me post my rant- so here’s what I had to say

I revisited my childhood with watching DBZ... (i knew i said i would start one piece but the gym bro-ness got the better of me and i started watching it) someone please explain why does Goku's voice sound... i don't know how to describe it. i was so shocked about his voice, i was planning on watching the dub instead cause of it *crying* Honestly, Wakui did a really good job with the cover. Even when I was reading mangas online - I was so awed by the covers of the manga and when TR was on its peak here, i saw a lot of spoilers for bonten mikey. I never liked mikey... but this made me change my mind. And they (like every cover character i saw up until the Brahman arc looked like royalty. Even hanma-) I'm doing well! Contemplating to change the blog theme for some reason. It's not gonna be aiku ofc- he gets 0 screen time cause he hasn't come back from italy and i am mad at him with part 1 to ocean hues I'm on my winter break actually and omw back home. Fifa knocked the wind out of me. I feel sad cause Mbappé played really well (and he was sad too when they lost), i literally went to go keep my plate and he scored in 97 seconds of the first goal T.T . But i'm also really happy for Argentina cause its the first time in 36 years since Maradona that they have won the Wc and i cried cause they were crying on the field not to mention the fact that Messi played in their team as well - so it was bittersweet ending but also very well deserved! It’s one of those days where I can’t stop thinking about mortal!alec vs immortal!alec. On the one hand, I think Alec would be an amazing warlock, especially with Magnus by his side, but that would mean that he couldn’t be a shadowhunter/involved in shadowhunter politics anymore and I don’t think that’s anything he would want. 

I do believe he would give it up for Magnus, but I think he cares more than the show has let it seem. He wants to change the world, mean something, actually make a substantial difference in the fight against demons and fight for justice/equality. 

I don’t like where the show went in the series finale. I’d like to think he stayed in New York and became actual HOTI instead of just Acting Head, Magnus stayed in position of HWOB (and Lawsofchaos’ Consular Warlock Magnus verse is canon to me, so he’s that too). 

If there was a way for Alec to become immortal while still being a shadowhunter, he’d do it instantly. If not, he’d still want to be involved in the politics, which is what strenghtens my belief in him waiting years (maybe decades) until he made it politically possible for himself. That’d make the physical age difference between him and Magnus bigger though, and that would make for another series of insecurities maybe, not only about looks, but also about capabilities. I don’t think Magnus would necessarily care, but maybe Alec would?

It’s all very interesting to me to see where he would go with this, and then we haven’t even dived into whether or not Magnus would even want Alec to be immortal and what the consequences would be for him.

that other writer clearly didn‘t do enough research and threw a temper tantrum around nothing. If your work is getting mass "flagged" (it‘s not even flagging your work still appears in tags) it‘s mostly tumblr themselves who did it. Yeah, some people strive off being jealous on here, we been knew, but it‘s most likely tumblr this time. It happened to lots of writers on this platform to get all their work marked as mature, it‘s literally what tumblr wants. But to insult their readers and to think they‘re the main character everyone‘s jealous off is embarrassing on their part. Don‘t listen to those people tee, you know your worth, you‘re great, keep up the good work you‘re actually a good writer on this app and don‘t have to flex about it. <3

okay i mean in all realness almost all my kinktober posts have been flagged as explicit and if u just scroll thru the top tags for any fandom almost every smut post on there in the top tags is marked explicit too. it’s literally happening to almost every writer i don’t think i have a single moot who has 0 smut posts from getting caught by the system by now. anyway im not so petty as to flag ppls posts bc i don’t want them to get notes 💀 i mean this very humbly but djsjdjs i definitely don’t cry about not getting notes 😭 i will be very real, my posts generally get pretty good interaction and im very grateful for it so i don’t have any ill feelings of comparing my notes to other ppl. but i do understand that it’s very disheartening to have your posts flagged bc once they get flagged pretty much a majority of ur audience unknowingly gets cut from seeing ur content and it makes feedback rly hard to get so i definitely understand the frustration but pointing fingers is a little 😭 it’s rly mostly bc of tumblr itself fjsjfjf but oh well. i honestly don’t want any drama on here, i think there’s been a fair share of drama lately and a few banners is never gonna make me meddle with anyone’s writing bc i know how much time and effort goes into it and whether i have someone blocked or not i think all writers deserve positive feedback for the writing they take time to put out. but anyway ty for the kind ask and ty to everyone else who sent in kind asks and i’m sorry this all had to be on ur dash !! very interesting day today 💀

Here’s the explanation from Wikipedia— A matoi (纏/まとい) was a flag used in Edo period Japan by firemen (火消し, hikeshi) to notify people of a fire near or within a building. It was taken up on a roof near the burning building by the matoi holder (纏持, matoimochi) and waved to draw the attention of other groups of firefighters, who would then hurry to the site of the fire to assist. Each different group of firemen in the Edo period had their own matoi to identify themselves.

Do you realize A** and her larry stans (because they aren’t Louis stans they are larry stans, and thank god a** was the only one talking about this today) have been demonizing louis all day long because someone posted a creepy video of him, Freddie and Oli? If this was at any other time with any other person people would be saying that taking a creepy shot is wrong and etc, but today no, today they are acting like Louis murdered someone, just because he was in LA having fun with his son, yes, because until anyone officially says anything he is his son, so what he was doing wasn’t wrong or disgusting like they are saying, was great and lovely and you better sit down because “ the end” won’t happen, sorry. They were disgusted because they created this whole story for years and this fairy-tale that Louis is this gay guy in love with harry that doesn’t see F, that now, that they were faced with reality, they lashed out disgustingly. Seriously, what she and her anons said today was the most disturbing things I have ever seen in here and I have seen some stupid shit here. I didn’t read all the anons, just some things here and there because they way they were demonizing Louis was gross. Saying that him selling merch was disgusting and thank god the tickets to his concert was free… the level of the conversation was really low.
