Inducing thoughts

Every morning, I drink my coffee when it's a little too warm and every morning I am disappointed.

Every evening, I drink a carbonated beverage and every evening I am disappointed.

I put a little more spice, sometimes. But no.

I take a little air in and burp it out, perhaps more than normal. But no.

I fake them. I fake them fast. I fake them hard. I fake them soft. I fake them silent. I fake them loud. I fake them muffled.

No.

I let my belches out.

I keep my belches in.

Nope.

I get nervous. I get excited. I laugh. I cry.

I jiggle my belly. I poke under my ribs.

Nothing.

My diaphragm is an impressive being.

My phrenic nerve is sure of its purpose.

My vagus nerve is buried under protection only offering me panic attacks, sneezing from dry bread, and vaso vagal responses from blood as it's expressions of disorder.

My body is assuredly not a fish's body.

My reflex arc for belching is tried and true and never off its mark.

I am stuck with this overly efficient respiratory system.

My disappointment is hilarious.

Maybe one day I'll try sparkling wine again.

But those were not fun days when I couldn't help myself to bury in the lack of care it gave me.

The mornings were the worst.

Belphie and IK tidbits that made me laugh

- This one is very OOC but my older brother loves to call me a dickhead (lovingly) and that definitely seems like something Belphie would say if IK pulled a prank on him idk it just feels like that sort of relationship where he'll walk up and lightly push IK over for no reason and then walk away. The same vein as older siblings bursting through your door just to turn the light off and leave he's such an asshole I love him

- IK doing that viral thing where in the middle of Belphie talking she throws a slice of cheese/lunch meat at his face and it just sticks there

- Belphie going up to IK and fake beating her up like you do with a cat, exaggerated punching sounds and all

- Belphie tossing a pillow over IK and laying on top of her (not with his full weight ofc, but enough to trap her)

I can see him being generally very bothersome. love that guy (kinda)

they're like a pair of cats who find very cherished companionship in each other by fighting constantly <3 like those fights cats have where they just smack each other at lightning speed

the family'll be all chilling together in the common and ik just veeeery slowly reaches out and hits him in the arm. she keeps doing it an increasingly short intervals and belphie can't allowed to retaliate without the others ganging up on him sbdkfsbd

(belphie acts annoyed but he also always takes ik's side against the others, so he can't complain)

I finished writing the last of Vengeance of the Lost, just need to comb over it and make edits before posting but now I have some questions.

How does the whole Plasma Team thing go? Doubt it would get as much support in this AU. What about N? I assume he has a Zoroark aspect. How do you think he would feel about Hisuian Zoroark?

That's awesome! ohh that's a very good question. In a world of aspects being clear show of bonds with pokemon it would be hard for team plasma to have that kind of reach...unless. Unless they were in power for a pretty long time, from maybe even the time when aspects were just barely starting to be noted as possible. Things like limiting how many pokemon a person can have to maybe 2-3, limiting if not outright banning battles and trying to make it that having aspects is a bad thing if not outright illegal if you evolve.

And they only just more recently were forced out of power by oh, Ingo, Emmet, and Elesa's age group, actively fighting against them.

That would give Team Plasma more support by those that want to go back to the status quo that it was before the upheaval as it only more recently started to settle back down into a new norm. Now it would still be unpopular as people and their pokemon partners are far more happy not being limited as they were before. But there would be enough people to support Team Plasma.

As for N he probably would wind up with zoroark aspects eventually, though likely had zorua aspects for a very long time because evolving bad. And hisuian Zoroarks and him, honestly I can see that being more of a curiosity thing on all ends. I can see him saddened and angered by their story and how they wound up ghost types.

I opened Pinterest for the first time in months.

That made me realize a lot about how bad I was actually doing and how much of a Waffle House Index use of Pinterest is for adult me, apparently.

I hadn’t realized it had grown that foundational to me in a healthy-brain-exercise-and-hobby-joy way. Nice to know moving forward! It’s another sign I can keep track of and use to spot correlation/indicator patterns earlier my behavior.
