I genuinely love that Kingsglaive is just the most by-the-books action movie ever. Like it’s so Hollywood Summer Blockbuster it’s funny. Which honestly suits how goddamn American the setting of FFXV is. But yeah like in the middle of all the fantasy video game shit in FFXV, like, Die Hard happens off-screen in the middle of the prologue. It’s great.

#The only thing is that in a typical action movie like this #Nyx and Luna would have TOTALLY wound up together #which HONESTLY?#they have so much more chemistry than Noct and Luna and I'm not sorry.#I still mostly ship Luna with Gentiana but like #she and Nyx would have been fine as opposed to like #dude she met one time when he was eight and kept in touch with him via extremely short letters with weeks between #so like just BARELY kept in touch #and then died before she ever spoke to him in person again #and I guess we're just supposed to take them as soulmates #like yes Luna and Nyx didn't get a lot of time to know each other but at least they'd spoken in the past ten years yknow #and also luna actually does stuff in the movie #which immediately makes her so much more compelling as a character AROUND nyx #anyway rant over sorry
