I'm sorry it took me so long to finish this artwork, but artblock is killing me and my mental health isn't the best. But let's hope the next portrait will take me less time (also you can vote who I'll draw next from the Thicker Than RO's here).

And let me just say the Thicker Than RO's portrait will be a little bit different from the Blood Moon characters I drew in the past. They'll have more of a painting style of portrait. I think. It's my favourite style currently, haha.

I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again my favourite background character in the Blood Moon series is Doctor Hobbs, not only do you have the first game where he just coincidentally has Carrie’s last name and a similar appearance to her and a family history where they used to be werewolves but then something Happened to his grandmas pack (which then coincides with Carrie’s story abt what happened to hers! if you do her route which DAMN love that easter egg) but THEN he turns up AGAIN in Thicker Than!!!! fuckin best friend of the doctors route who just inexplicably knows all this shit about the undead (oh wow wonder why) and helping you out like FUCK YEAH I love the background lore I love the consistency I love how he’s such a nice dude???? I fr love everything abt this background ass character and yet no one talks abt him smh petition for dr william hobbs to be an ro in the third book I’m getting it started now please @barbwritesstuff hear my plea

Thicker Than - Public Demo Update

Happy full moon everyone! I’ve had a really good month and got a ton of writing done (almost 50k!) which you can read right now for free here:

Side note: I also announced a book deal for a not-interactive novel I wrote back in 2022 this month. Of Monsters and Mainframes is going to be published with Bindary in 2025!

I'm ridiculously excited. I'm also going to be a bit busy next month editing that, so the vampires are going to have to take a bit of a back seat. I hope that's okay.

In regards to Thicker Than, I have finished Chapters Eight, Nine, and have started Chapter Ten. Chapter Ten and Eleven are both much branchier chapters, so may take a little longer to write than Chapters Eight and Nine did.

There’s a few fairly major plot points/twists in this update, and I’m a wee bit terrified to hear your reaction to those.

In Chapter Ten, the romance scenes are mostly unfinished with the exception of Marcel’s (totally finished) and Tracy’s (half finished).

As always, thanks for your passion and enthusiasm (and fanart! It's been so motivating to see so much love for these characters!).
