班克西的迷幻秀 (2) Exit Through the Gift Shop 出口就在穿過紀念品店之後

2018年十月五日星期五，在那一場位於倫敦的蘇富比當代藝術夜拍中，塗鴉藝術界的天王 Banksy 班克西 成功的創造了一場藝術實境秀，而這��碎紙機的趣味讓這個屬於藝術圈的話題毫無疑慮的延燒至世界各地時尚娛樂頭條，成功創造出新的商業構想及藝術接觸人口，實為班克西又一場成功的行為藝術之舉。

2010年有一部名為 ‘’ Exit Through the Gift Shop ‘’ （中譯：畫廊外的天賦/怪盜塗鴉異世界）獲得了2011年第83屆奧斯卡最佳紀錄片入圍提名，導演是第一次拍長片的塗鴉藝術家 Banksy 班克西。

拍電影不稀奇，拍到入圍奧斯卡確實讓人驚艷，無論是驚艷其才華，或是其有力的幕後宣傳及操作，在這裡先暫時不提這些，我們先來看看這部片記錄了些什麼？

此片紀錄了一位法裔洛杉磯居民，正職為保全，興趣是拍攝街頭塗鴉藝術家的攝影愛好者，經由學習當代藝術明星的成名招數與媒體宣傳炒作的靈活運用，搖身一變化身為新一代塗鴉藝術界的巨星，名氣紅到讓瑪丹娜都邀其為新出的精選專輯封面操刀。

這位法裔洛杉磯居民是誰，他名叫Thierry Guetta，開始創作塗鴉藝術後又被稱為Mr. Brainwash (MBW)，一開始與街頭塗鴉最接近的關連是因為他有一位同樣紅遍全球，從未以本名和真面目示人的街頭藝術家姪子Invader。

Thierry Guetta在持續進行街頭藝術的攝影記錄中，認識了各據山頭的美國著名街頭藝術家，從而認識了希望在美國進行塗鴉創作的Banksy，之後的故事就不多說，總而言之，在一連串巧妙的互拍與互動之後，Banksy認為Thierry Guetta不太懂剪輯，攝影技術差，乾脆去做個塗鴉藝術家吧！

Thierry Guetta就這樣在不懂創作，僅僅將經典作品上色畫個幾筆，改良一下其他藝術家的作品成塗鴉樣貌，靠著一股自我相信以及熱情，魔幻地在這個藝術產業中闖出一片天。

以上，是這部入圍奧斯卡紀錄長片的內容。這不是電影創作，而是一個製作出來的真實故事。裡面的主角，持續在時尚圈當紅，本片的導演，更是世界上最出名的街頭塗鴉藝術者。

出口是什麼的出口？取這個片名有什麼特別的意義嗎？

Exit Through the Gift Shop 是我們在歐美國家逛博物館，美術館或是海生館之類的景點時，常有機會看到的標牌，意思就是：親愛的顧客您已經快要逛完整個展示廳/城堡/場館，在出去前，可以在我們的禮品店採賣一些紀念品回去呦！

Gift Shop 就是一個把所有原創藝術印在各種大量生產的紀念品上，並讓你將它們買回家的地方（也就是俗稱的文創商品），我們可以在那兒買到米勒的拾穗Ａ4資料夾，莫內的睡蓮馬克杯，或是Banksy的氣球女孩明信片。

若以影評人的角度來評論，本片隱喻了塗鴉藝術的荒謬：

當代藝術容許藝術家在可以無限複製重複的工業製品中追求藝術創作，Thierry Guetta 從紀念品店中的商品拿取了一些，觀光客消費了一些，而與紀念品店不��的是，被視為藝術創作的塗鴉作品，其價格標籤上多加了許多個零。導演班克西運用自己生為一位當紅當代藝術家的身份運用此片諷刺了當代藝術市場，同時也反諷了自己。

I just watched the documentary movie on DVD “Exit Through The Gift Shop” by famous UK street artist Banksy the day before. It is the story about Thierry Guetta, a French immigrant living in LA who shot a lot of films on street artists and he finally becomes one himself. At the end of the movie, Thierry Guetta achieved huge success in his first art show and sold his works for million dollars in just a few days.
