wrote out a whole thing about imagining as part of my writing process and how much of my first drafting is actually done internally but it sounded kind of obnoxious accidentally like “ummm guys well everything in my head is so vivid 👍” which i don’t think me experiencing writing in my head vividly is special it’s just what my brain does 👍 but anyway how much of a first draft is a first draft when i will write a passage in word but that passage has lived in my head for weeks sometimes months mostly written out because i will write out scenes in my head and just let them marinate up there and somehow I don’t forget it

Has your Character been using their illithid powers? (3)

Aside from using it to play mind games with people no not really and Dolores is highly unlikely to get More parasite powers at least at this point in Act 1. In future acts, she certainly did lol but she's still cautious about them ofc and won't willy nilly get some whenever she encounters a tadpole specimen.

Her goal still is to find away to remove it (safely). Dolores has issues with her bodily autonomy and I'd also say does feel some kind of body dysmorphia. Her family—namely her parents and her sister, Dulcinea—would make negative comments about her body all the time so Dolores feels uncomfortable in her own skin. She hates it when people touch her without her consent or if they don't know what they're doing. (When Volo tried to remove the parasite from her eye using the needle she had a full blown panic attack and Volo had to be put in a corner...guarded by the pets).

SO the tadpole is the biggest intruder out of all of them. She's literally trying all she can to get it out. She doesn't like what it's doing to her body and hates that she can't see it yet she can feel it squirming away in there. So nope, definitely Would not get more mind powers no matter how much the dream visitor insists. :)

Do you remember the first humanoid enemy your Character killed? Was it the first person they've ever killed, in your opinion? Would they have been bothered by it? (5)

I haven't fully fleshed out what the hell she has been doing since she was effectively exiled from her village (and the whole of Sina Una) but the first enemy she truly killed was a raider who tried to rob her. It was the night after she ran away from her village and she was asleep.

First time she ever used eldritch blast and killed the raider instantly. :) At that point, she was extremely bothered by it. You must be aware that Dolores had been a simple peasant girl who did have some university education but still a peasant girl nonetheless.

It's not the first person she has killed. That honor belongs to her parents, her sisters and indirectly a lot of the ppl in her village. They all died in a fire :) that was a result of her pact. Dolores asked to be free and her patron granted it assuming the most logical conclusion :)

What are your Character's thoughts on the dream visitor? (23)

The Dream Visitor took the image of Dolores' patron or at least her patron's elven form (which she would only show when they're being intimate with each other) so uhhh Dolores has wierd feelings about that.

The thing is, Dolores has lost contact with her patron since she the Nautiloid ship crashed. Her other goal aside from getting the tadpole removed is to reconnect with her patron bc she's worried that if she does not connect with her soon, Dolores' life would go to shit. (Ie: death). SO when the dream guardian stepped in her dreams, Dolores was relieved that her patron hasnt abandoned her...until she found out that isn't her patron but someone or something else wearing her face. Dolores had a confusing set of feelings that's for sure.

I'd imagine that the reason why Dolores has not suffered from losing contact with her patron is due to the parasite lol. Like u know illithid to uhh a different kind of eldritch creature canceling each other out.
