You might see this picture and think "what are you on about? it's not so bad!!" and I would agree with you, since the pool, the lights and the huge windows on the ground floor are doing the most at making this house look very nice and expensive.

But then, I saw this

this is the front of the house... THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE! THIS FLAT MF WITH THE MOST BASIC ASS WINDOWS IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE FIRST THING EVERYONE SEES???

And like, I know this is season 1, they were on a budget and this house isn't as important as the Wheelers or the Byers but I have an hyperfixation on Steve Harrington so I simply cannot let this one slide.

There are a lot of things that bother me about this house: the flatness of this entrance (seriously, never heard of a porch???), those boring windows, the fact that the house is basic but then you have that expensive-looking front door and those huge windows in front of the pool?? it seems as if they merged two houses together???

Now, I know we all joke about Steve having a lot of spare bedrooms but like, this house is huge???

LOOK AT THIS? is this really a suitable home for three people? You could fit all Hawkins after the earthquake in here, jc. They actually do have 400 spare bedrooms.

But then I realized, half of this is actually empty.

This is the best part of the house, let's be fucking honest. Finally some rich features in here. But also, this means that half the house doesn't have a second floor but just a huge living space on the ground floor with a double high which is very rich of you Harringtons, wasting half of the second floor just for the sake of aesthetic.

(Also, that exposed wood roof is gorgeous but the color... meh.)

At this point you might think that this house isn't actually that bad.. let me remind you that this house contains this room:

here's a cute little Aya for my good friend @cookieg122's recent birthday!!!! was a little bit late with finishing the pic but I just had to draw this precious girl to celebrate! yay! :'D

tbh, I was really nervous about going over this pic with ink, but I REALLY wanted to do the wings with white gel pen so that overrode my fear of ruining the picture with the ink haha. fortunately, no major mistakes were made and I'm quite happy with this result! A bit challenging, sure, but still a lot of fun ;u;

(oh also! special shoutout to my friend @pixlokita, btw - who was kind enough to offer to draw a wing design for me some time ago, since I was struggling to figure out how fairy wings work, lol. her design was soooo perfect tho so I mimicked it to the best of my ability!! :'0)

Pretty Decent Concepts

Anyways here's my shot at guess which cat is which in the two big group shots we see in the new preview. Some of these are incredibly easy to guess, and others I'm a lot more hesitant on. Obviously all of the easy ones like Longtail, Tigerclaw, Whitestorm, Oakheart are guaranteed, but RiverClan is probably THE Clan most effected by the inconsistent allegiances in the first arc. I'm pretty much certain the cat I labeled "Mistyfoot?" isn't her at all, but I needed SOMETHING to put there. It's incredibly possible and decently likely that the cat I labeled as Stonefur is actually her, as we know they were both present at the battle.

Also the brown ear that Potentially-Stonefur is fighting is absolutely Mousefur. We know based on the original books that Mousefur was present at the battle, but notable she's also not a tabby and doesn't have green eyes, so she can't be the cat hanging on the ledge (Who's most likely Runningwind, as a brown tabby with green eyes), so the brown ear at the bottom fighting Potentially-Stonefur is absolutely Mousefur
