currently reading: It Shouldn't Happen to a Vet by James Herriot. the second book in a lovely series about a veterinarian in the yorkshire countryside in the 50s I think. I really like it and I recommend if you want a book you can pick up and put down easily bc the chapters are very short

sweet/spicy/savory: definitely savory. I have a sweet tooth but I'm finding that the older I get the less rewarding sweet food is for me. love savory food tho

relationship status: I dont wanna talk about it.... kicks a can as I walk away (single)

current obsession: DISCO ELYSIUM. brilliant video game. one of da best ever. also I'm into coin and banknote collecting BIG TIME.

Favorite Color: All colors are specials in their own way but that being said, dark or dull greens and purples go hard.

Currently Watching: Not currently watching anything but last watched the new Fionna and Cake stuff. Mostly watched it cause I had time to kill and I loved Fionna and Cake when she was first introduced when I was little lol

Last Movie: I think the last movie I watched was Across the Spiderverse when it was out in theaters with one of my dorm mates! (she's an animation major so she's legally required to watch it lol)

Currently Reading: Not reading anything atm. Last book I tried to read was a couple months ago was Gideon the Ninth. Only got to the first few chapters. I love fantasy but I've learned I hate reading it lol. I can imagine my own fantastical stuff but my brain sucks at imagining other peoples worlds lol. Been really wanting for months to try and read Stone Butch Blues though. I'll read that whenever school gives us a break maybe lol.

Sweet/Spicy/Savory: Sweet and savory are very closely tied but I'd say savory. Give me a jar of pickles I'll scarf that shit down like a horse eating carrots or whatever.

Relationship Status: Single. to my knowledge no one's ever tried to shoot their shot. Either that or I'm too stupid to realize. They hate me for my boring, reserved energy yet awkward and peculiar mannerisms …

Current Obsession: Baulder's Gate 3 I'm so sorry to ppl sick of it on their dash lol. Also my own world building but I'm … not going to post that … unless people start asking me about it ... then maybe.

Last Thing I Googled: "cow face" and "cow skull". had time to kill in class so I tried to draw cows cause whenever I've tried to draw them from memory they end up looking more dog like than I care to like.

Currently Working On: Besides school work I'm trying to solidify all the gods and Pantheons of a world I've been working on since late high school. It's weird and confusing, I'm making little mood/image boards of sorts so I can narrow down their designs, aesthetics, vibes, etc. Most I'll explain is that the ones I'm working on all the Gods are based off different artistic mediums (god of clay and pottery, god of glassblowing/stained glass /blacksmithing, god of the 2D and cave art, god of destruction/experimental/multi media , gods of leather/weaving/fashion, gods of music and sound, etc etc ) (two of my projs (one i just finished and one currently) for school are environments based off my world building lol)

“Hunter’s new design is boring” yeah. That’s. The point.

The generic haircut, the bland sweater. It’s all a baseline for Hunter to set his physical characteristics so that he can figure out who HE is from there.

“But the hair noodle is so distinct to Hunter-” no it isn’t, & it never has been. It’s distinct to CALEB, & that has always been the point. Hunter never wore his hair like that bc HE liked it, he wore it that way bc it reminded Philip of Caleb.

Hunter was never supposed to be Hunter, he was supposed to be a “better version” (BELOS’S OWN WORDS) of Caleb. Hunter’s hair noodle was never a characteristic of his own.

This boy has no part of him that’s his own. He wears Caleb’s face. His body contains Caleb’s bones. His eyes come from being a grimwalker. Entire parts of his personality are built up from trying to please Philip, & the rest of his personality he can’t be sure isn’t left over from Caleb.

Hunter doesn’t know who Hunter is. So he’s trying to figure that out by building from the ground up. There’s only so much he can do about his physical appearance, & fortunately his hair is something under his control. So he gives himself that basic haircut so he can figure it out from there. His hair was never specific to him, so now he can make it that way.

Idk. I don’t see how anyone can be genuinely upset about this w/out severely missing the point.

The marstons get a ranch cat, or one wanders over to beecher's hope and stays there like uncle. It's a good mouser, keeps the pantry and stores safe, and doesn't tease the chickens. Jack is insperable from the cat and whenever he does farm work the cat is somehow near him. The ranch cat loves Jack, and loves to sleep in his lap when he's reading.

I keep thinking about if they did a remake or whatever of red dead one and what sort of tiny, tiny things they'd put as background flavour in callback to 2. Like,

A letter from Tilly, about how she's going and how her family is.

A book, written and signed by Mary-Beth.

Arthur's old hat hung up over the fireplace, and his journal. Arthur's wolf photograph hung on the wall in the living room.

A note, or telegram from sadie about where she'll be for the next few months.

Something Jack found while learning tracking with Charles, sitting in a grand display on a dresser or bookshelf in his room. Or a letter from Charles about his life and where he is.

An order form from Pearson's general store in valentine, once or twice a year for non-perishable rarities. To keep contact.

I love Molly. she's the exact target audience for Lana del Rey. I know she's SOBBING listening to norman fucking rockwell

she's awkward and shy but it comes off as rudeness. and sometimes it is rudeness but she genuinely just wants to be alone and also doesn't know how to talk to the gang. most of this is dutchs fault bc he intentionally drives rifts in between her and the other girls so she's got nobody to talk to but him

I think she's bisexual but she'd never ever call herself that. she's mildly homophobic too. but she's of the mind that everyone fancies women and gay people are gross for acting on that. that being said I read a great Sadie/Molly fic that is essentially canon to me of them getting together after the gang falls apart
