hi, we’re back to ageswap.  28 year old lgy and 27 year old sys: what theoretically might have happened during the kaizenix/kaixenix/isekai arc.
Lee Gilyoung is terribly uncomfortable to look at.  That expression, those mannerisms, the way he talks… it’s all wrong.  He’s supposed to be scowling and arguing and insulting her, not smiling and cheerfully going along with whatever she’s saying.
“If I hit you hard enough, will you remember who you are?” Shin Yoosung says, hand over her eyes.
“Your Highness?” Lee Gilyoung says, reverent and deferential in a way that Shin Yoosung hates.
Shin Yoosung punches him in the face.
Lee Gilyoung reels back, face going slack and wide-eyed and shocked. “P-princess?”
Maybe he really will remember who he is if she hits him hard enough.  That’s the way the stories that Kim Dokja sometimes talks about go, don't they?  Nothing like blunt force trauma to shake some memories loose.  She's already started the process, hasn't she?  There's really nothing left to do but keep going.
“Your Highness,” Lee Gilyoung begins.
Shin Yoosung doesn't let him get any further than that.
“D-did I do something wrong--”
Or that, really.
“What did I —”
Maybe if she just punches him one more time —
“What the hell’s wrong with you?” Lee Gilyoung snarls, fingers flexing into claws and glaring like he wants to kill her.
Shin Yoosung brightens.  It’s something the princess’s servant would never say to her.  “Hey, bug.”
“You--” he pauses.  “Yoosung?”
“Don’t you mean Your Highness?”
“Fuck off!”
Yeah.  That’s definitely Lee Gilyoung.
“Welcome back,” Shin Yoosung says.  “That only took, what, three, four punches to the face?  So, don’t worry, if you forget yourself again, it’ll be no trouble at all for me to knock you out of it.”

thoughts about the kaizenix arc. canon compliant, takes place during the epilogue (you can’t expect me to believe only Yuri di Aristel was living a pleasant post-apocalyptic life, can you?).
“I don’t remember that Kim Dokja very well,” Ricardo von Kaizenix says, staring down at his cup of tea.  “Actually, it’s difficult to remember what happened at all when he was possessing me.”
“It’s to be expected,” Schweichen Von Kaizenix says briskly.  “That man was only there for…  what, a few days?  If he had taken longer, you might have gotten used enough to each other to coexist properly.”
“I suppose.”  To be honest, Ricardo can’t even imagine what that would have been like.  He’s heard a lot about this Kim Dokja by now -- a man who became a demon king and a constellation and orchestrated the end of the scenarios.  A great man, surely.  They might share the same face, but he’s nothing like Ricardo, a useless, untalented drunk whose 31 years of life amounted to nothing at all.  Would things have changed, if he had Kim Dokja in his head?
“You’ve talked with him, though, haven’t you?” Ricardo says.  “What was he like?”
Schweichen hesitates.  “Well.”
Yuri di Aristel sets down her teacup with a delicate clink.  “He,” she says, smiling with all her teeth, “was an irritating son of a bitch.”
