In other news I've started MASH and my favorite thing so far is that everyone talks about Radar like he's just a sweet and naive kid but in practice he's an undetected little imp who's nearly puppeting Henry into doing whatever he wants and pulls just as much nonsense as Hawkeye and Trapper do but catches none of the heat for it. They've hardly ever shown them talking him into their schemes, he's just already a given participant in them every single episode and it cuts to the next scene of him with the forged paperwork he's tricking Henry into signing. That episode where they're pretending Radar is seriously sick to get Henry to transfer back and when the jig is up Henry is berating Hawkeye and Trapper and then says angrily "And you made Radar fake an illness?" Radar was not made to do anything he was perfectly ready to give his award-winning performance all on his own. There's another whole episode where Radar is just in the background openly robbing the place and dismantling a jeep piece by piece to mail home to himself. It's incredible.

Yet she hardly had time to ponder the matter before La.ffitte promptly scooped bun up when the rest of the crew booked it; for he feared her shorter stature wouldn't allow bun to run away in time.

The best they all could do was stay out of the way by fleeing the scene. The outcome of the duel was in fate's hands...

🌟 @quizzyy and I decided to give her the same tail malformation we gave Hickory, which is just a tail that hangs like a country troll's but doesn't work too well for them. She LOVES it though, and puts little butterfly clips and fake pearls on it/lets Poppy decorate it and brushes it a lot

🌟Yodels, and is learning German. (John Dory is as well, but Dolly picked it up faster than he did so she can run her mouth in TWO languages.

🌟Something tells me she's a plaid girlie. Mostly skirts with a lot of frilly shirts, and a bandana or little cowboy hat to match Hickory. She hates the goggles but likes to steal and hide them to mess with Dory.

🌟LOVES Poppy and will do anything with her. Scrapbooking? Yes. Singing? Yes. Cooking? Yes, but she gets to have a handful of sugar. Just one. If she won't listen to her dads, or her uncles, she'll listen to Poppy. Poppy also teaches her a lot about using her hair since she keeps it pulled back and it needs to be tighter/in a scrunchie to concentrate and use it. (There's a post out there about Poppy being disabled and I am SO here for it,,, if I can find it I'll link it!)

Aaaaand that's about it for now. But Dolly Nation rise up 👊🤠👊

Being a fan of a niche retro kid's show from the 80s or earlier, especially if it's low budget, is stop motion or involves puppets in some way, and/or isn't American, is dooming yourself to a life of seeing your beloved show show up in lazy youtube videos about "creepy and cursed kid's shows", where the youtuber takes clips of the wacky characters you love out of context, plays creepy music over it, and talks in an overly serious voice about how the characters "have a sinister vibe" and "malice in their eyes" and "just seem... off", while you're distraught in front of your screen like "NOOOOOO, leave him ALONE 😭😭😭"
