thinking about girl dad!lando 💭

a/n: hello and welcome!!! first ln4 post of many to come hopefully. i have so many more thoughts about this, so if anyone wants to come chat or bring up some headcanons of their own, feel free to pop into my inbox :)

girl dad!lando who can hardly believe his ears when you tell him you're pregnant. he's at the height of his career, and having a baby would be a huge change. he's still young, of course, but when he thinks about who he wants to do life with for the rest of his years, the resounding answer is you. so finding out that in nine months time, you're both going to be bringing a child into the world—one that could quite possibly turn out anything like you—oh, he's over the moon. he doesn't even know if it'll be a girl or a boy yet, but either way, he's beyond excited.

girl dad!lando who hates missing appointments and checkups all the time due to the constrains of his job. he wants to be there with you every single time, but with training and races and all the traveling, it's just not in the cards. occasionally he'll be able to pop in via video chat or phone call, but most of the time you have to update him after all is said and done, and he hates it. he feels guilty that he can't be there for you as often as he wants to. you assure him time and time again that it's okay; as long as your baby is healthy, it's okay. he'll have all the time in the world to spend time with them once they're born.

girl dad!lando who becomes even more excited when you find out you're having a girl. it was one thing to think about this baby and wonder about all the possibilities. it's something entirely different actually knowing. he hopes with all his heart that she looks exactly her mother, and already knows she's got him wrapped around her finger. he does his research too—sends you countless articles from parenting blogs and tries to educate himself on how to be the best parent so his baby girl will thrive as she grows up.

girl dad!lando who absolutely refuses to miss the birth of his daughter. he doesn't care what race week it falls on, doesn't care how much shit he'll get into for missing it, on this he stands entirely firm. nothing will prevent lando from being right beside you the entire time. and when the day does come, it's the first time mclaren has to bring up a reserve driver for him. he's a whirlwind around the house when you tell him it's time to go the hospital, grabbing the baby bag you'd both pre-packed and sending off texts to everyone important, making sure everything is in order before helping you waddle to the car. and much to your annoyance, he's never driven so slowly through monaco as he does on the way there. you're surprised you don't have the baby right there in the car with the way he crawls through the streets at a snail's pace.

girl dad!lando who nearly cries when he first gets to hold his little girl in his arms. she's just so...tiny, compared to him. she latches onto him instantly, little hand curling tight around his finger like she knows he's her papa. in that moment, looking down at this precious thing cradled against his bare chest, he vows to never ever let anyone or anything hurt her, for as long as he lives. it's like his heart has made its way outside his chest and into his hands. he actually does cry when he looks over at you—the one who made all this possible. he knows for a fact he'll never love anyone or anything as much as he loves the two of you.

girl dad!lando who takes a month or so off to spend time with you and baby girl norris and settles into fatherhood surprisingly well. he's the definition of doting dad too, taking care of everything he can so you can rest as much as having a newborn will let you. he also does a massive amount of shopping, even though baby girl norris had already gotten everything a baby could ever need, even before she was born. they ranged from practical items like bottle warmers and value size packs of diapers (thanks to her uncles checo, hulk, and kmag, who knew what parents actually needed) to a copious amount of formula 1 team themed attire (redbull onesies from uncle max, ferrari bibs from uncle charles and uncle carlos, mclaren everything from uncle osc, you name it). stuffed toys, baby books, hats, bibs, even teeny tiny baby sized sunglasses—baby girl norris already has a fan club of aunties and uncles surrounding her.

girl dad!lando who can't sleep sometimes, so he just watches his baby girl sleep, just so he knows she's okay. and when she cries herself awake in the middle of the night, he's right there to soothe her, picking her up, holding her close to his chest, rocking her back and forth gently. he talks to her too—tells her stories about how her mama and papa met, how much you love each other and how much you love her. stories about his family and your own family, about his racing family, his best friends. everyone he loves already loves her too. one time you rouse from your sleep to find his side of the bed and her crib empty, and you almost panic before spotting a faint glow coming from the living room. upon further inspection, you find him doing laps around the sofa, gently pat pat patting her back to get her to sleep again. your heart breaks wide open at the sight of the two loves of your life bonding.

girl dad!lando who gets so nervous the first time you bring baby girl norris to a race. she's a little bit older at this point, old enough to take in all the sights and sounds of the bustling paddock, but still young enough to where she has no idea what's going on. he carries her on his hip, shielding her eyes and ears from the flashing cameras and loud noises, beelining right for mclaren hospitality as quick as he can so she can get settled before he gets too busy. he worries about her constantly—is it too hot or too cold out for her (you've got a cute little romper and a jacket in the baby bag if either is the case), will she get bored (give her a plastic spoon and she'll be entertained for hours), is it too loud for her (mclaren engineering fashioned a custom set of baby sized headphones just for this occasion). you have to be the one to stop him from pacing a hole in the floor and tell him he's got more pressing things to prepare for.

Ah yes, this one, the most popular post in my whole blog! It even beat out the Shinobu-Akaza Friendship one which has been going around for a few years. I'm glad it inspired you to make your own, because there can never be too many fix-it AUs. ^_^

Good news! Aside from this goofy follow-up to that piece, I have some older pieces of fanart which are oddly similar! This one (which I really like, except that I look at it now and dismiss it as not good because I drew Mitsuri shorter than Iguro), and this old one (which was not quite the same, since everybody is simply healthy and not beat up).

It's only half as happy, but I also got really attached to this three-part Fate-Swap one. What I did with the survivors in that one also influenced a lot of my thinking on the Softer Time AU.

So with that all out of the way, how about just some new headcanons for the AU in question?

Rengoku: As he was dying, Tanjiro tearfully asked if there was any Breath technique to stop the bleeding. Rengoku smilingly replied "no," but then Tanjiro sniffled and asked, "Can you at least try????"

So he did, and that is how he survived a punch that went straight through his solar plexus. Barely, anyway. Breath technique is amazing!! The Kakushi who soon arrived on the scene are even more amazing!!!! None the less, he has a very difficult recovery.

Oyakata-sama and family: He sure had everybody convinced he perished, huh? Joke's on you, the mansion had a trap door.

Once Muzan was defeated, the curse on his family was finally lifted, so he started making a slow recovery from his illness after that, including slowly regaining his sight little by little. Once he's in better shape, Amane wants to go on a romantic getaway.

Himejima: So that curse on the Ubuyashiki family? Turns out The Mark was likewise only a curse, and it too has been lifted! Losing a leg can't keep this man down, of course, he's just too strong.

Still, he got close enough to death that he got a nice visit from his ghost kids, and when he woke up, sure enough, that Kakushi at his side was Sayo! She aids him in his recovery.

Himejima eventually finds out about Kaigaku from Zenitsu. He is saddened and cries.

Now that he doesn't need to train, Himejima become the Crazy Cat Man. His home is a cat shelter. After a year or so his shipper heart gets antsy and he starts annoying other Hashira to hurry up and have kids.

Sanemi: Hangs out with Oyakata-sama's kids a lot. Is really annoyed with Himejima bugging him to get a girlfriend. Since this is a Softer Time, Sanemi is busy making up for lost time with his brother anyway.

Shinobu: She managed to be swallowed whole by Douma without getting seriously injured in the process. She has burns from being partially digested (an idea I picked up from @sweetreichel) and this was enough for the poison to have the desired effect. As Douma's body starts to melt, Inosuke reaches in and pulls her out, much to her surprise.

Because this is a Softer Time, we're going to say that this Shinobu-Inosuke interaction, and this Shinobu-Inosuke interaction, and especially this Shinobu-Inosuke interaction (or something like it) has occurred.

This is no longer a world in which Inosuke takes to Nezuko like she's a mother figure, noooo. Shinobu is now his mother figure whom he dotes on. Shinobu is slightly weirded out by it, but this is her dashing rescuer, after all, so she soon makes peace with Inosuke's attention and care. She doesn't feel good in her recovery anyway; it's nice to get rides on a trusty steed. All this leverage means she finally convinces him to let her (or rather, Aoi) wash that dang animal head, at least.

So is this a GiyuShino AU? I suppose it has the opportunity to be. If Giyuu indicates any interest in Shinobu, he's going to need Inosuke's approval. And Inosuke gives it easily, because Han-Han-Haori is strong. But if Shinobu shows any indication of having a crush on Giyuu, Himejima is going to squash it the moment he bugs her to hurry up and have kids.

Iguro & Mitsuri: This is pretty much a repeat of the Fate-Swap AU.

Iguro promises to marry her as he thinks they are dying, but she wakes from her coma before he does happily anticipating that he'll keep his promise in this life. It's a bit of a relief that he's probably lost his sight, because the damage to her ear and jaw is pretty ghastly; not to mention her belly was cut pretty deeply. She's accepted with disappointment that she probably would not be able to have children, which is why she has not asked for any details on that (to which question a doctor would respond, "nope, that all looks good." Likewise, being too quick to accept Iguro's blindness means no one has asked about the actual state of his eye injuries, to which a doctor would respond, "Yeah, one of them should still work once the bandages are off.")

Iguro is stunned to find himself still alive and full of tainted blood, and he tries to insist that his promise was under the understanding that they were both dying, which makes Mitsuri upset that he didn't mean it and he doesn't actually want it, which of course is not what he means at all, so he has to fully explain himself.

Mitsuri is understanding but also points out that this is very silly, and that she's not so good of a bride either, so they deserve each other fully, the good and the bad. Iguro is so eased by her words that he feels washed clean, especially for having lost so much blood in ridding the world of demons.

And then, surprise!! He can see her after all! And then, surprise!!! They can have babies after all! Himejima is also as thrilled as they are.

Giyuu: Look at him!! He smiles!!!!!! And he has so many people who talk to him!!!!!!! Which means they're finally going to hold him accountable for acting like he was better than them. Giyuu is flattened with the realization that this is what everyone thought he meant when he said he was "different" from them, and he must explain himself. If there is a hole, he wants to go into it.

But!!! They forgive him?????? They accept him?????????

Well, sure they do, but he can't stop smiling and it's starting to weird everyone out.

Uzui: As usual, he is busy being a family man. He finds it kind of funny to hide from Himejima the fact that one of his wives had a baby. Himejima is really hurt when he finds out and Uzui feels terrible. If there is a hole, he wants to disappear into a puff of smoke in it.

Muichiro: Watch out world, that mouth of his is only going to get worse in his later teen years. He and Kotetsu are going to annoy everybody.

Muichiro hangs out with a lot of different people, since the whole Corp feels like his family. When he's not being treated like Kanamori's adoptive son, he's often goes over for dinner with the Ubuyashiki family, where he winds up hanging out with Sanemi. However, because they are closer in age and have more shared experiences, he is more naturally inclined to form a friendship with Genya.

Muichiro also hangs out at the Rengoku estate, because everybody loves Rengoku, and it's still hard for him to go out much on the days when his old injuries bother him. Again, being closer in age, Muichiro winds up forming more of a friendship with Senjuro, who happens to be Kotetsu's penpal via Tanjiro's introduction. Genya also knows Kotetsu but doesn't really hang out with him until Kotetsu is a little older, and eventually the four of them are a squad. Tanjiro is sort of an honorary member of this unofficial squad, but Muichiro and Kotetsu find themselves bullying Zenitsu and Inosuke a bit.

turns out michael's mom is pretty active on twitter and these past few days she's been engaging nonstop with tweets talking about aziracrow being in love. she's definitelymichael's #1 fan, but i couldn't help noticing the amount of not-about-characters stuff she seems to engage with too. Among tweets talking about Aziraphale's loving stare, queer fans making our usual queer jokes and remarks about them, michael reading fanfiction, miles maitland gifs, there's a good amount of... this. She surely has liked random stuff among the 14.6k rts/likes she has, so i'm attatching some examples of what she's been liking and rting because-- what the hell (i even spotted one of your tweets in the mix!) she even liked a tweet calling AL and GT innefable wives ??

my first thought was how embarrased i'd personally be if my mom was seeing comments online about me and my best buddy being madly in love, let alone engaging with them, but after it settled i'm just... in awe that this probably +70 y/o woman is being this supportive over social media 😭 so heart warming (btw i'm sorry for randomly popping up into your questions twice today- i have literally made this account after finding yours, feeling a bit less alone in the world)

(Grouping these two Asks together since they are related.) Ask #1: Hi there! No need at all to apologize for being in my inbox twice in same day. I'm so glad that my blog has been helpful and meaningful to you, and that you felt compelled to write in as a result. Welcome aboard!

So, Mama Sheen. She's been doing this for years--at least since 2019, when I first started following Michael on Twitter--but I will tell you my slightly crackpot theory, which is that for a while back in the day, I thought that maybe her account was actually Michael's secret alt account. (What better place to hide than in plain sight, after all...). I'm not so sure about that now, of course, but it's been really interesting to see her retweeting so much shippy stuff involving Michael and David, and as both you and @tamose pointed out, she especially seems to have ramped it up since GO 2 came out.

I also wanted to touch on you describing Mama Sheen as Michael's #1 fan, because although I wholeheartedly agree, it's a curious thing to me that we can more easily see her as Michael's number one fan than his own girlfriend. It's Mama Sheen--not AL--who has been retweeting all of this, who's been cheering him on, engaging with fan content, and retweeting all things Ineffable Husbands/GO 2. I've written on my blog previously about how I've never really seen AL be supportive of him (and how she spent much of 2020 and 2021 making fun of his appearance/fat-shaming him), as well as how she is not at all part of that polyamorous/throuple dynamic with Michael, David, and Georgia. And while I know the lack of engagement and carefully calculated interactions/posts could be chalked up to her not being able to promote the show due to the SAG strike, that doesn't really excuse her tepid support of Michael himself.

(Also, don't even get me started on the cringeyness of Georgia and AL as Ineffable Wives, not to mention how insulting it is to David and Michael personally and to their work as professionals to suggest that they are replaceable/that Georgia and AL (or anyone else) could play Aziraphale and Crowley and give us the same dynamic and chemistry we saw on screen...)

But yes, going back to Mama Sheen, I have long thought that she seems to ship Michael and David, and how sweet and heartwarming it would be if Michael brought David over for tea or dinner--especially because his own mother passed away several years ago--and no doubt Mama Sheen would dote on him and make sure he's fed and happy. It's especially interesting to contemplate when we see this picture from the Bright Young Things UK premiere in 2003, which almost looks like Mama (and Papa) Sheen posing with Michael and his kilt-wearing Scottish boyfriend:

Beautiful. Well, it's certainly something delightful to think about, at any rate. Whatever the case may be, I fully agree that it is lovely to see Michael's mom being so supportive and accepting of her son, particularly in the midst of such a hostile, anti-LGBTQ climate in the UK. We love you, Mama Sheen! ❤️

Brooke's Children (Canon Divergent)

Haven't decided if Brooke will canonically have children in the future or not... but I have a few drafted.

Includes some of my head canons on the boys.

I don't have a particular interest in being pregnant/giving birth, but I thought it would be fun to theorize what my children with my fave boys (Lucifer, Simeon, Levi + others opinions) would be like. (might change them in future) 

Lucifer

 Lucifer is inpatient when it comes to intimacy. If there is something wants he'll ask for it. However, he is a very private person and likes to be in control of who he shares things with. He would prefer to have Brooke to himself, but hes not upset that they love his other brothers romantically. Hes cool with polyamory (hes also with Diavolo). At the very least he might be a little annoyed that Simeon made a move on Brooke.

Side thought: Do condoms exist in the demon realm?? 

Lucifer likes kids, he's used to taking care of his brothers. But he's kinda traumatized after raising his first child, Satan, who is prone to outbursts and doesn't appear to like him. When he finds out Brooke is pregnant he has a bit of a panic moment "Oh crap I made another one."

Once hes over his shock, Lucifer is very happy and supportive. Dotes on Brooke. Diavolo also offers a lot of support for the two of them. The others while a bit surprised do their best to help. 

Lucifer is even more attentive when the child is born. Determined to give this child more support and love then he had been able to give Satan. 

Child #1 - Hes a lot like Lucifer, but a bit softer. Thinks his older brother is a bit manic, but cool. Doesn't get along great with Child #3.

Child #2 - Brooke wasn't sure who was their father until they were born. Lucifer was scared it was him: was not ready for another kid. Levi to his despair knew it wasn't him. Everyone thought it was Beel for a while. It turned out to be Simeon, who was also surprised, but very happy. 

Levi when they were trying to figure it out: "You aren't sleeping with anyone else right?"

Brooke: "No, only you three."

Child #2 is very baby like and joyful. Child #1 and #3 baby him a lot despite him not being the youngest. 

Levi

Levi is very shy and has trouble expressing his feelings to Brooke tho they are clearly expressed on his face. Cuddling before and after intimacy is very important to him! He would prefer a mono relationship with Brooke, but also doesn't want them to be sad, so he tolerates it. Things get better after having the kids and he learns to respect Lucifer and Simeon's contributions. However, he is very upset finding out he is 'third' once again (honestly probably what leads to baby number 3 being conceived).

Kids? Levi never really thought about it. They seem like they would be a pain and disrupt his otaku activities. He's very good with kids tho, from helping with his younger siblings. Levi is very happy when Brooke is pregnant because they are happy. He is very clingy during the pregnancy.  

Levi has a bad habit of being envious of his son. 

Levi: "You were inside her 9 months. That's longer then I ever was."

MC: "... please stop saying stuff like that to our child."

Levi: "If you want to hug someone with my face hug me."

Brooke: "Levi he's four."

Child #3 - hes more outgoing then his parents (would willingly go camping with Lucifer). He loves his parents and siblings, but doesn't get along with Child #1 very well. Thinks hes stuck up. Also thinks Levi is cowardly; rolls his eyes at him a lot for it. 

Simeon

 Simeon is just going with the flow. He loves Brooke and is curious. But he listens to her when they say no. Open about his feelings, but doesn't go out of his way to make others notice. Hes not really sure how to take the lead, but learns quickly. Doesn't mind Brooke having children with others. Has a bit of a breading kink.

Simeon always wanted a big family that was close, like he and Lucifer's brothers used to be. Wanted more kids, but Brooke said no. Uses gentle parenting style.  Always willing to help out with any of the kids. 

Wasn't in the Devildom for part of Brooke's first pregnancy, which he feels bad about. Would be troublesome if the celestial realm found out about his kids, so he's not around as often as he would like to be.

Child #2 - looks a lot like him.

Child #4,5 - twins? look more like MC?

Diavolo

Diavolo  wants kids. He's also supposed to give birth to the next demon king, but can't with Lucifer. However his father is asleep and can't say otherwise at this time. Mostly involved with Lucifer and Brooke's kid. He's willing to babysit to skip out on work if needed. 

Mammon

 Mammon is not okay with this. Wanted to be the one to have kids with Brooke,  but its kinda too late for that. He has bittersweet emotions hanging with the kids. He tried to put on a brave face for her, but was a crying mess during every labor thinking Brooke could die. He always insists on being the first one to hold the babies. 

Asmo

Asmo is super cool with all this. Overjoyed to have such cute nieces and nephews. He's a huge support to Brooke during and after pregnancy since everyone else was a mess. "Solomon aren't they cute little creatures? What if we made our own :3." 

Satan

Satan was not too pleased with the pregnancy announcements. He thinks Brooke made the wrong choices. He is particularly mad at Lucifer who neglected him when he was younger and is now having another kid. He vows to have nothing to do with 'Lucifer's spawn', but once Child #1 is born he changes his tune and becomes determined to be the best big brother! 

Beel + Bel

The twins are specifically attached to the children of Simeon and MC, always spoil them. Maybe its due to the fact they have both Lilith's and and angels blood. They found out the hard way how far that bond would go when MC was pregnant with Child #2. Beel became aggressively protective of MC (Hence why everyone thought Beel was the father) and could not be left alone with them or no one could get near them later.

When Beel started acting weird again, MC knew they were pregnant with Child #4,5.

Bel feels very relaxed with the kids, like a missing part of him has been filled again. 

Barbatos

Barbatos is cool with the whole thing as long as it doesn't cause him more trouble. 

Luke

Luke doesn't understand why MC would chose to have children with demons. Hes disappointed in Simeon for getting involved, but won't expose his secret. Would Simeon's kids be Luke's siblings? 

Thirteen

Thirteen is not sure why she was asked her opinion on this matter. Would help MC out if they asked. Kids have sparkly souls! 

Solomon

Solomon did not plan for things to go this way. No one really knows his opinion on this, but he is silently seething with rage. 

Other Notes

One of the kids might be named Lilan or Lilith after Lilith.

How is Callista's relationship with the rest of her siblings and with her parents? How does Callista feel about the rest of the Sakamaki brothers and about the Mukami and Tsukinami brothers?

And I hope it's okay to ask this >_<.

I remember you mentioned that Yui will appear in the Excruciating Duplicity universe, but what will her role in the story be? Personally, I hate that the fandom only uses her to ship her with Ayato, because I feel like the fandom reduce her character only to being Ayato's S/O. In no way am I trying to tell you what you can or can't do with your story! I just think MC/Yui has potential to bring something interesting to the plot (as well as the rest of the Diaboys).

And lastly, I really like the universe you created for this blog! You have a lot of imagination ♡.

How is Callista's relationship with the rest of her siblings and with her parents?

Callista has a slightly complicated relationship with her family - but it's nowhere near the amount of complicated as the rest of the universe, and my other OCs.

Since Calli was born with such a gap between herself and Ioanna - then again before Helios (still working out the exact time lapses), she had no immediate siblings while growing up. What's more, since her parents had gotten to the point where the Adler Kingdom was in an age of peace - and having all ready raised five children prior - they used Calli's birth as a sign to 'spread their wings'.

So, while they doted on her - since she was their only child at the time, Calli did get to grow her own independence. She had such dazzling older siblings - all of which had their own lives once she was born. While none were particularly cold to her, they didn't really interact much. Once her younger brothers came into the picture, Calli was excited to finally have siblings. However, she ended up being more motherly to them, rather than a sibling.

All and all, it's not that they have a negative relationship. Callista loves all of her siblings and her parents. Moving away to be with the Sakamaki wasn't something she wanted - nor they, however, she is duty bond to ensure her families security. Something she is happy to do.

How does Callista feel about the rest of the Sakamaki brothers and about the Mukami and Tsukinami brothers?

By the time Calli arrives - it is set in the future of the current cannon. So, all of the boys are older, out of high school, and moving towards where their futures are going to take them. By rest - I am thinking you mean outside of Reiji and Shu, so I will go with that.

The triplets are not around much. With Laito and Kanato always running away from their duty; really the only one she sees is Ayato (surprisingly). From what she has seen, the two younger of the triplets seem fine enough - but a little off putting. They both stare quite a bit, but both with different tones. Ayato is involved with the plans to over throw Karlheinz - so he comes around more often. He is loud and outspoken - which isn't a bad thing, but Callista thinks he should think before speaking. Subaru is also involved - and gets along with Calli well enough. His temper is mostly on display with the others - he doesn't get nearly as angry with Calli.

Now the Mukami & Tsukinami are another story. They do exists in the ED universe - and prove to be troublesome to the efforts against Karlheinz. Callista isn't aware of the plotting - or at least not to the extent that everyone else is - but she does know that those two families are not on good terms with the Sakamaki. From what little she has seen of them, they put Reiji and Shu both in a bad mood - so to her, it's understood to keep her distance from them.

Yui will appear in the Excruciating Duplicity universe, but what will her role in the story be?

You know, I don't really know yet. Personally, I don't know a lot about Yui - even though I have seen lots of post about her. I think that Yui has something to offer the story. In the case of ED I am leaning towards her either being with Ruki or Ayato. Maybe even Carla?

I kind of want her to be what she is in the cannon - someone who is fought over. I don't plan to change anything about who she is, or her role in everything. If anything, I feel that will work to the advantage of the war plot - having Cordelia running around inside of Yui will get interesting when Karl and Burai's conflict comes to a head.

That being said - her story would have all ready begun once Callista joins the plot. Since she meets the families in high school, I would assume that she has found her place once Calli joins in. Where that place is - I am not sure. She might end up with a completely different boy - I'm not too sure.

Really the spark of her even being in the story is because of the new OCs that I am making for a certain boy (the ones I have been dropping hints about). Because of who they are with - Yui kind of has to be in the universe. But yeah, having her will be interesting - I'll need to think on it more.

taking a small break to ramble incoherently abt my portrayal of william in what will be a very confusing post lmao

i'm thinking about how my portrayal, which draws inspiration from two specific characters at times, and how i apply that inspiration to william (which started off as the focus of the post before it derailed how did this get so long i'm sorry)

the first is (and i do hate to make this comparison ngl) my portrayal of kok.ichi over on @takinghisbow. i mean, one of the running themes of the blog is the "mask" kok.ichi wears to conceal his true emotions and i've consistently tried to keep myself from falling into that exact turn of phrase on this blog for the most part. these are two characters who do not want you to actually know anything about them and hide everything from intentions to feelings to expressions (yes hello i have realized in the last year that i mask in public thanks for noticing). the obvious differences between these two are motivation (kok.ichi is motivated by trust issues and self-hatred, william is motivated to try to cover up his misdeeds) and method (kok.ichi acts antagonist/annoying to push people away, but william acts falsely kind to draw people in while still keeping them at an arm's length). kok.ichi has questionable morals, but tries to be good where it counts. william is a terrible person and has no intentions of changing that, although he can be kind to those he likes if it isn't "a burden" to him.

the other character (who i also tentatively write) is hann.ibal lec.ter (specifically the NB.C portrayal). and i've said it before, but "you're not a person, you're a monster wearing a person-suit" is william-coded lmao. they're both monsters, and yet capable of caring. they are not incapable of empathy or sympathy, but choose how to wield it. outside of their very horrific hobbies, nobody would ever think they were killers. both are surrounded by death, and yet not suspected because nobody could ever believe they'd do it (until it's too late).

going into making this blog, i was very adamant that i wanted a complex portrayal that didn't fall too far into generic movie serial killer stereotypes. we don't throw around potentially offensive terms like "psychopath" or "sociopath" here. we don't suggest that lack of empathy = bad person here. i also was very, very loathe to do the whole "evil guy looks Totally Evil and is so obviously creepy" because it quite literally made little sense to me. how is this guy killing so many kids and not getting suspected if he screams "Serial Killer" just by looking at him? if he's antagonistic and creepy and clearly threatening? and in that same vein i wanted to avoid "bad person is bad all the time 24/7, never does anything decent ever" because i live for nuance, not the chr.istian fund.amentalist black/white thinking i grew up in. i wanted him to be irredeemably, unmistakably evil without losing the fact that evil people are humans, and humans are capable of great evil if they choose.

i want the moments where he's being decent—a seemingly good friend, father, or romantic partner—to be almost disarming. because, while william is perfectly capable of caring for people, his actions (both in what he does and what he doesn't do) are intentional. always. his sense of humor with his adult friends or romantic partners is half because he genuinely enjoys joking around and half because he wants to be viewed a certain way. funny. normal. just one of your buddies. him doting on his kids is because he loves them, but also because he needs for everyone—both the kids and the community—to be able to say, "What a good father, he would never hurt anyone (and especially not a child)." when he resists showing anger (whether entirely or just the full extent of it) toward someone he's upset with, this is part of the persona. when he pretends to like someone he dislikes, this is part of the persona. when he agrees to something he doesn't want to do, this is part of the persona.

it's part of what makes sprin.gtrap seem so different from william prior to the springlo.ck incident. william is throwing everything behind his persona. he's a calculating man, even when he's genuinely enjoying himself. he can be truly having a nice time with someone, but the thought of how this is benefitting his persona is always in the back of his mind. you're just another character witness to william. after the springlo.ck incident, there's no longer a point. the persona is gone. get ready to meet the real man beneath it.

Whitebeard. I'm so happy Tomasu gets to interact with the man he probably regards as one of his closest friends, and that you've been so enthusiastic about my headcanons for them. I just love when two old men are able to relax and talk family one minute then scheme and discuss illegal business the next. I always worry about throwing Ikkaku's old man at people so you being so encouraging makes me so happy. your favorite muse of mine.

I absolutely adore the "Old people do bad things for good reasons” dynamic they have. Their ideas of piracy and the smuggling business are not so solely focused on the negative aspects so much as the ideals in the freedom and choice they have. It’s never been about the pilfering or hostility or power or riches, it’s just the concept of living in the midst of getting by and making a statement. I love that they’ve both grown old and wise ( if a little hard-headed and wacky all the same ) and have passed all of that down to others. They still act like they did when they were young and, if anything, their relationship has only gotten closer over the years and I just think that’s something unbelievably special. I’m still very much looking forward to having more interactions with them and to continue the young one we have now.

Whitebeard as a whole is definitely a character that’s going to stick with me for the rest of my life. Writing him and taking that wise mindset has challenged me in a lot of ways that I think have improved my general writing and thinking as a whole. Him and Issho have both done that, despite the latter not currently being present at this time. Older characters have a trend of being overshadowed by the younger but I think everyone will always have a place in their heart for Edward. I can’t imagine thinking of him as boring or uninteresting or irrelevant. The time he’s had in the series has been so impactful, no matter how short. It practically drives the coming era, and that’s precisely what he, as a person, wanted to do. There are times I definitely feel like I don’t do him enough justice, but I’m very lucky that so many people seem to think that I do, and it’s that inspiration that will forever keep me drawn to him outside of his actual canon material.

And you absolutely deserve that kind of encouragement and enthusiasm! Tomasu is a lovely character, and you’ve put a lot of love and heart into him, just as you’ve done with Ikkaku and Joras as a whole. It’s such an interesting and well-developed dive and it compels me to read all your interactions regardless of who they’re with or what they’re about. I’m always learning something new about all of them every time I take a look at one and that discovery always has me so hooked. I know from experience it’s all easier said than done, but you should never worry about throwing your muses and your ideas at other people that are willing. People enjoy reading your work and your concepts and all your originality more than you know! And of course that includes me!

I'm pretty bad at introductions so this might be a mess but, you can call my Blair. It's not my real name but it fits well with my theme. I'm new here and have no idea of what the hell I'm doing. 

If you can't tell from my blog already I am completely obsessed with yanderes and the universe surrounding them. I'm also very big on horror. I made this blog mainly to talk about my garbage ocs and meet other people and their ocs, hopefully. I'm an introvert dealing with my own inner trauma and anxieties but I am a pretty laid back and easy to talk to, just a little rough around the edges. This is way for me to cope with my mental health and insecurities and trauma.

Story: Silas is the Ceo of the Demarion Agency. After his parents sudden and mysterious death he was appointed the position of CEO to the surprise of no one. Silas is the youngest of of his siblings having three older brothers. As the youngest of his siblings he was doted on by everyone and had everything handed down to him on a silver platter. The apple of his parents eyes and the source of his brothers affections. Whatever Silas wanted growing up he was given. His family smothered him in the finest of luxuries that most could only dream of. All throughout his life he has been praised by all who know him for his intelligence and natural leadership. This praise of course went to his head which caused him to develop a superiority complex and the worlds most inflated ego. To Silas, he was better than everyone and there was no one who could touch him. He might as well thought of himself as a god. 

Personality: Silas Damarion to the public is a charismatic man who is able to charm all with something as small a smile, a wink, and a wave. He was born with a silver tongue that pulls people in and makes them submit to his every command. Silas likes to reel people in, butter them up, learn everything there is to know about them - family, aspirations, insecurities, etc, etc. He hones in on these things to use to his advantage. He loves nothing more than to build people up and break them down piece by piece. He loves putting people in their place and showing them who in on the top of the world.

- Silas is very clingy. He wants to (HAS TO) be the only one his darling has eyes. He needs constant affection and cannot stand to be ignored. If you even think of showing someone that isn't him the slightest hint of attention he becomes enraged and that person becomes as good as dead. There is no such thing as privacy when you're with Silas. Every waking moment of your life is spent with him and only him. Kiss your friends and family goodbye because the only one in your life from now on is Silas. 

Manipulative:

- Silas is a master at manipulation. He will make you question anything and everything. He will guilt you, he will shame you, he will break you apart and leave you to pick up the pieces, watching in sick satisfaction as you stumble along the way. He uses his status and money against you - showering you in luxuries and wealth while stripping you of any financial independence so you have no choice but to depend on him. Without him you're nothing. You have no family, no friends, no money; you're nothing. He's used that silver tongue of his to ruin the lives of those who got in his way and he has no problem doing the same to you. It doesn't matter what other people think of you - his is the only opinion that matters.

Physical and Psychological Torture:

- Behind Silas's business persona he is downright cruel and manipulative. He treats those beneath him like dispensable tools that he's quick to get rid of whenever he bores of them. He enjoys causing people physical and mental pain -- it's his biggest turn on. Nothing excites him more than seeing someone sniveling on the ground as he stands over them.  No one is safe from his torture, not even his beloved little darling, in fact the abuse they face is much more grand than anyone else. You're the most beautiful to him when you're groveling to him on the ground, skin covered in bruises old and new, and tears streaming down your bloodstained face. He adores it. The sight of you crawling to him so very desperate for his praise and approval, begging and pleading for him gets him immediately hard. He'll let you suffer for a while before fucking you senseless (don't expect him to be gentle) to point you're on the verge of passing out. Only when he's had his fill of you will he get you the proper attention you need and even then, he’ll be counting down the minutes until he can do it all over again.
