i am definitely the only person who cares about this but I was re-reading parts of Sea of Monsters (irrelevent as to why) and. in the chariot race. well, a.) The Ares cabin has skeleton horses. where did they get skeleton horses? and then, actually more confusingly, b.) almost all the other chariots besides Hephaestus cabin (they have automatons) have normal horses. not pegasi. Percy actually specifically identifies the Apollo chariot’s horses by breed which is very funny to me because Of Course He Would but like. We never see CHB have normal horses at any other point in time? Where did they get the horses?

In "Too Young" when Princess Bubblegum talked about how she "never get to act like a kid" and how she wishes she "could stay like this with you, but..." I started crying. This poor girl grew up in the harsh world of early Ooo, she spawned from a living wad of gum and built a house for her brother, she tried to have a family but they betrayed her and she internalized that as "ignorance is bliss." Because shes intelligent, and she's sure not happy, and they were intelligent, and they weren't happy either, atleast Neddy is happy when he's just sucking on those roots and blissfully unaware of his surrondings. Homegirl didn't have any childhood at all, even Marceline had a more carefree childhood when she was with Simon, and she grew up in the literal apocalypse with three parental abandonments. Simon kept her entertained and cared for her, but PB was protecting Neddy and scavenging for resources, on her own, just to stay alive, her entire childhood. God. People dont talk enough about how tragic her childhood was, I feel freaking awful.

i think the whole cringe is dead, radical sincerity, depth of genuine emotion, earnest effort, and unironic love thing that tumblr has going on the past few years has transformed my outlook on things and changed me for the better. but it does mean that now the people i know irl will give me strange looks for being too sappy or too poetic or too dedicated or too excited about about something because they're still stuck in their "well i only like this ironically" phase. guess that's their problem tho not mine <3

using tickling as motivation to get out of bed is so cute and fun 🥰

because imagine!! you’re laying in bed with your ler and the both of you know it’s time to get up, but you’re laying as still as possible, acting like you’re still asleep. your ler turns to look at you and sees you pretending to snore. they see through your tricks immediately, but this meant it was time for a bit of fun.

“aww, are you still sleepy, cutie? i think i know how to get you out of bed~”

that’s when you feel cold fingers gently scratching against your sides, the touch just firm enough to tickle. a lot. you press your lips together to keep yourself from reacting, but their hands are moving around to different spots. your sides, your stomach, your armpits, your neck, your hips. no spot remains undiscovered.

after a certain point, you cannot keep yourself from squirming and letting out a few adorable giggles. your ler smiles brightly at you, delighted to see you so happy. they wrap you up in a hug, still pressing their fingers into your ribs to keep you laughing.

“good morning, sunshine! wow, you’re really giggly this morning, huh? i wonder why…”

The stage has a drum kit, guitar, bass, keyboard, and mics

We draw names out of hats to make instant bands that get 5 minutes in the green room to plan a 5-minute set. That's usually one (1) song

A hat-drawn artist will draw the band's gig poster on a meeting room easel pad while they play

Meet one of the first members of Shatter Squad: Bombshell!

If his name didn't already give it away, he is the demolitions expert of his squad. Which is kind of funny, given that he is blue-yellow colorblind and he sucks at remembering which color is which.

He can disarm bombs pretty easily even with his visual impairment. Though, there have been times where he arms one of his bombs for training with his squad but forgets which wire is which because he (for some reason) uses blue and yellow wires to arm it.

Also, when he was first painting his armor, he accidentally painted it the 212st yellow instead of the 501st blue. Rex was over it, Cody was unimpressed, and his squad will never let him live it down.

Personality wise, he's pretty snarky and playful, but he'll quickly drop that to be completely serious when he needs to be. Deadly serious. The switch left his squad speechless the first time they were out in the field.
