You both always blame it on school—you have terrible attendings your first few rotations, so naturally you look to Levi for relief; and he’s bored out of his mind in internal medicine, so at least he’s got you to make it worthwhile—but now you’re both in your final years of residency and this thing is still going on between you. 

But your… thing… is kind of different as time goes on. You guys don’t sleep with each other nearly as often, and it’s not for lack of attraction—the basis of your friends with benefits relationship was to relieve stress, but the more intimate you two become and the more time you spend with each other, the less stressed you are LMAO. It becomes a point where the sex isn’t for relief or convenience or whatever, it’s just because you both want to be with each other.
