What’s so interesting about star trek tos is that all this crazy batshit stuff happens but it’s never brought up again. BUT not only that, the characters still gradually change. Their relationships with each other grow. Stuff evolves. It’s not like, ‘well that happened, time to reset!’ It’s more like, ‘things happened that are never going to be mentioned ever again but we have still changed.’ And it’s fucking baffling
I love this redesign of the Tholians, making them much more alien and weird. They already had high heat environment, but the multiple limbs, the crystalline structure, the built in distress call....
What always really interested me in the episode ''Tholian web'' is the way that Uhura was so convinced Spock would believe her
Like to a point she was shouting in his name trough the corridors
Or here when Bones tries to calm her down and she just insists she has to get to Spock
And then as she is laying in sickbay the first thing she says is ''Mr Spock didn't believe me either did he?'' she sounded very hurt about it, but who wouldn't if no one seems to believe you?
I guess what I'm saying is, is that I love how when in distress and doubt she is sure he will see the truth about her that no one else will 💞
5 times Spock chased Kirk through time and space + 1 where his behavior was suspicious
Feat. Extremely done Leonard “Bones” McCoy

Aw, it’s not surprising that Bones could immediately tell that something was wrong with Spock. I mean, yes, they’re trapped 5000 years in the past on a frozen planet, but when did it ever stop Spock from looking for their Captain? LOL
