Sigewinne plops herself on a chair, spreading refreshment drinks all around the table of yours and Neuvillette’s shared garden. Under the lovely gazebo, many of the melusines gather, pretty eyes all wide with excitement. As a musician, you pride yourself on leading the top opera performances in Fontaine, and as easily as you could ask some of the best singers to perform for your husband, you decide to take the melusines who volunteered to perform under your wing and teach them to perform some of Neuvillette’s favourite songs for his birthday. 

To be honest, you’re not sure why anyone hasn’t thought of hiring them to sing before. As water creatures, their voices range around a high-soprano key, the cadence of their voices lovely and controlled like the rolling tides of the summer seas. Sigewinne herself has such an adorable singing voice, you have to stop fawning over her as if she were an infant, and focus on the rest of the choir. Around fifteen melusines eagerly agreed to volunteer, and they organise themselves in rows, dressed in lovely organza silks with light blue flowers clasped in their tiny hands. 

“I can’t believe I’ve heard this non-stop in Monsieur Neuvillette’s office, and now I’m here singing it.” One of them shakes her head, and the lovely soprano melusine lightly whacks her upside the head. 

“You volunteered, dummy.” 

“I know, but I can’t bear hearing it again. I’m investing in earplugs.” She snaps, and you and a few other melusines giggle in reply. 

“Alright, ladies! Let’s go over the plan again: Neuvillette is arriving any moment now, and we’ll start after I tap the baton on the music stand. Lady Furina, thank you for playing the piano.” You nod at her in acknowledgement. 

“Enough with the theatrics, darling. You’ve worked with me for years. I would do it for Neuvillette anytime.” She waves her gloved hand dismissively, short bobbed hair dancing as she shakes her head dramatically. “Now hush, he’ll be here at any second.” 

Sure enough, the clack of heels is heard, the sound of keys jingling rings out and everyone quickly stands up straighter. One of the melusines nearly whacks her elbow into the table next to her and covers her mouth to block her pained yelp. The melusine next to her covers her mouth too, to conceal her laughter. The silence permeates for about all of thirty seconds, in which Neuvillette finally looks outside the window of the dining room to see the gazebo decorated in blue ribbon, fifteen melusines, Lady Furina, and the love of his life standing there in the garden. He smiles softly, shedding his coat and making his way to the garden. Just as he opens the gate, you tap your baton three times, and the melusines’ melody begins to soar in tandem with Furina’s lovely piano accompaniment. 

Neuvillette stands, stunned. In all of his years, he has isolated himself from the society of Fontaine to hide his true identity, to mourn the loss of those who have departed before him and those to come, the weight of their sins shattering his back from punishment he wasn't sure were entirely fair. But now, with the death of Focalors, it’s been the first time since he’s let loose and allowed himself to really indulge in society’s little rituals. Like birthdays, although unfamiliar with them, he finds it so… bizarre. The melusine’s singing is beautiful, and though he can’t see them properly because of a weird haze that possesses his purple eyes. It’s so peculiar, celebrating a birth he can’t quite remember. His existence, quiet yet loud and theatrical in the Court of Law, is it really so important to you that you wish to celebrate it with so many other people?

For some strange reason, a few drops of rain wet the stepping stone in front of him. It isn’t until the song ends with a crescendo that Furina shrieks and tries to pull fabric over her piano that Neuvillette takes notice of the tears burning the corner of his eyes. You walk up to him and embrace him, his hand rakes through your hair. You wipe away a stray tear from his cheek, flushed and unaged from years of loneliness, but the childlike glimmer in his eyes he had thought would never return ignites in his sea of lavender once more. 

“Don’t cry, Neuvi. Happy birthday.”

Just imagine a reader with mannerism of Shellsea from Fish Hooks in Fontaine

Written before Fontaine's release

First of all - she is some kind of sea creature but under human disguise - pretty much like Neuvillette. She can be a Genshin lore-accurate mermaid if they have one for all I care, but currently with legs and residing in the nation of Hydro.

Trendy, flashy, yet classy. Works as an attorney in the Court - which she is actually good at. But mostly her role is entertaining Furina with her wit and way of advocating, which gradually reduces the number of executions, and gains her a bit of unspoken gratitude from the Chief Judge, even though sometimes his eye twitches from some of her comments. Which the Archon also finds hilarious.

Like, listening to the defendant’s case, and then just going “wow, ma’am, I think you just dropped something. My jaw. Now to the evidence…”

Or “Neuv, relaaaaax. I wanna do it this way, and if I am wrong, I don’t wanna be right.”

Just causing manageable chaos and being iconic.

Feel like being besties with Navia is a given.

And the blondie is so pretty that she probably gets asked out at least once a week.

“Oh, this man is gonna have his heart smashed in a minute. I wanna watch it.”

Also going all “Girl, you’re craaaaaazy. I like it!” the moment the reader learns that she wields a hecking claymore.

No matter what probably spends quite some time in the Chief Judge’s office, reviewing some of the cases and actually coming up with ideas on how to keep Focalors content.

“Ew, this man’s case is actually concerning. He is so dead, this little creep. You know, that’s actually what I’m gonna tell him. And then smack his head with one of these books on your shelves.”

“Y/n, you can’t hit him.”

“When did that stop me? Which volume 5 of Fontaine laws is heavier - the 23th edition or the 35th one? Both look so thick.”

Most likely wears a new attire every single hearing. One time Neuvillette even questioned her after seeing the report of her spendings where the big portion was dedicated to clothes. It was just a few decades ago, after her decision to permanently stay on land and take over what she is so good at now. He won’t admit it, but maybe he was a bit concerned about her having a hard time handling her budget.

“Listen, Sir. I got those pretty walking legs to dress them up nicely as the rest of my body. Speaking of which, now I am craving a Natlan lava hot dress with ¾ sleeves, off-the-shoulder, a fixed box pleat skirt and embroidery on my girls,” casually motions to the chest.

As shameless as she is, nothing shocked the poor man more, than when three days later she arrived in exactly that dress. After this he almost never questioned her abilities.

Speaking of abilities, probably good at gathering intel. Unintentionally.

Also so chill, that when Furina threatened to turn her into water, she just stared at her point blank and went “Loooook, milady, it’s nothing personal, but I had to stop you. I read it in Neuv’s eyes, he was pleading for it. Don’t turn him into water though, I like him. Besides, Fontaine's waters might turn sour if he replenishes its volumes.”

She is Furina’s personal favorite.

When shit starts further down the Archon quest and everyone is panicking, reader, standing next to Neuvillette and Furina, just smacking her lips and exclaiming “we’re all gonna die! And if some of us actually do, Neuv, I’m stealing your coats,” not taking it seriously enough.

Would be so funny if she and the Chief Judge got together at some point lol. But staying sarcastic colleagues borderline a different kind of besties is also hysterical. But they do unintentionally "parent" Furina.

I'm posting my silly headcanons

Here's an introduction to my genshin au, yes it's modern but I may have interpretated a few things, first of all, it's known as Modernized magic au (Acronym: MMAu)

Next hcs: Nationalities!

To start off, Venti, Zhongli, Ei & Makoto, Nahida, Furina, Murata, Tsaritsa and other god-like characters are all disguised as humans. (Makoto lives in this au)

The Fatui is the mafia for this au.

Sandrone and Dottore are related. (Uncle and niece) (Fun fact: Dottore got arrested for physical violence because he protected Sandrone)

Alrecchino and Eula are twin sisters.

Arlecchino has Spock/elf ears.

Xiangling, Xingqiu, Xu and Yelan are all siblings! (Xu is an npc but I gave him a vision, I see them as siblings)

Xiangling and Xingqiu are twins. (You cannot convince me to change this, I looked at their splasharts.)

Klee and Albedo are biological siblings. (Sue me.)

Sayu is 11 years old but she's in the eighth grade. (She's a smart kid/naturally gifted)

If there's a school play, you can always count on YunJin to operate it and it will always go according to plan.

Freminet had no friends, not until he was approached by Dori, who said she could pair him up with compatible people.

Lyney, Lynette and Freminet were all part of a travelling circus, which meant they were homeschooled by Caesar. (If you saw or played Lyney's story quest, you'd know who Caesar is, and yes, they're all biologically related in this au.)

Layla and Collei love to tease Bennett and Razor about their relationship.

Chongyun fell first but Xingqiu fell harder.

Aloy knows that Tartaglia's real job isn't a teacher. (They're siblings for a reason)

Aloy doesn't like being thrown in the dark, so when she was young, Tartaglia would often give her the attention she needs, despite the fact she was in elementary and he was in highschool, Teucer didn't mind anyway. (I feel bad for saying this since Aloy is neglected in game as well)

Furina(Focalors) had always loved Venti(Barbatos), after he "ascended" to Celestia, she believed she could never find him again... Well, she was wrong, she did find him.

Xinyan always thought why Lyney always had a face of guilt when they discuss about falling from high places. Maybe a bad memory?

HuTao watches over Qiqi since they're both adopted by Baizhu, HuTao always makes sure that Qiqi is close by or guarded by her best friends.

Kujou Sara is infertile so she adopted Bennett and YaoYao with Arataki Itto

Tsaritsa, Sucrose, Xiangling, Bennett, Dori and Diona are the student council.

Mika is a transmasc, he transitioned when he was young.

Freminet has a spade on his face as a birthmark, like his brother and sister.

Paimon, Lumine and Aether are all siblings. (I adore it when people give the three the sibling dynamic, they share a braincell.)

Chongyun has a yandere-ish side he won't show Xingqiu.

Tighnari adopted Collei and Razor before he married Cyno. (Cyno met Nari through Nilou, so technically, Cyno is a dad-dad, not stepdad.)

Nilou is the rich aunt and she places work before love so y'all know damn well she spoils her neice and nephew. (I love aroace Nilou)

Cyno and Nilou are siblings.

Arataki Itto and Kuku Shinobu are half-siblings. (Itto is about 4-5 years older than Shinobu. Itto's mom died so his dad remarried and then Shinobu came into the world, and Itto was protective of her during their highschool years)

Gaming and Chongyun are twin brothers. (Chongyun is the introvert and Gaming is the extrovert)

Uses of Deception: He Xuan and Shi Wudu (TGCF) and Furina/Focalors (Genshin impact)

*Spoilers for TGCF/Heaven Official’s Blessing novel and Genshin Impact Archon Quest: Masquerade of the Guilty*

*Note: This is merely an opinion piece. Take what I say with a grain of salt. Also it said it has mature content but it may not seem that way as the way it was written. I just put it there just as a precaution*

If I had a nickel for every time a character with some kind of relation with water and used deception to hide something from a high power, I had three nickels. It isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened three times and two of them were in the same fandom.

Shi Wudu's use of deception.

Let's start with Shi Wudu from TGCF. If you're not familiar with who he is or haven't read the novel, he's Shi Qingxuan's older brother and the water master. He is also the water tyrant and part of the three tumors alongside Pei Ming and Ling Wen. He hasn't made an official appearance in the donghua yet.

The reason why Shi Wudu uses deception is because of Shi Qingxuan. When both brothers were mortal, Shi Qingxuan was haunted by a creature called the Reverend of Empty Words and was cursed with an ill fate and misfortune. As a way to protect Shi Qingxuan from the Reverend of Empty Words, Shi Wudu switches Shi Qingxuan's fate with someone (He Xuan) with the same name and birthdate as Shi Qingxuan to deceive the Reverend of Empty Words. By doing this, the Reverend of Empty Words is tricked into going after He Xuan, making his life a living hell while Shi Qingxuan lives He Xuan's fate and ascends as a god and lives happily and is safe and sound. What Shi Wudu had done was keep hidden from almost everyone in the three realms (the ghost world, the mortal realm, and heaven), even from Shi Qingxuan, until the Black Water Story Arc, which resulted in his death.

He Xuan's use of deception

Next, we have He Xuan, another character from TGCF. As previously stated, He Xuan's fate was switched with Shi Qingxuan's, which resulted in the Reverend of Empty Words going after him. Before that, he was a promising scholar that was destined to ascend into heaven. But with the Reverend of Empty Words haunting him, his life falls apart. To sum up: he failed his state exams because the officials hid his test scores and replaced them was blank exams, his sister and fiancé were kidnapped by a very wealthy person and forced the be concubines (which ended up with them dying), He Xuan try to get justice and accused them for adultery, it backfired and he got thrown in jail instead, while he was in prison, he was beaten and starved, his mother (age 70+)died while he was in prison while his father (also 70+) work to support the family and was barely hanging in there by the time He Xuan got out, when He Xuan decided to go into business to help his father, the other merchants ganged up on him and he got drowned debt. He died from exhaustion after he decided to kill everyone who harmed him. After he had died, Shi Wudu confirmed He Xuan's death and after He Xuan spent some time as a ghost, he learned who Shi Wudu was. Eventually, he became the supreme, Black Water Sinking Ships ( or Ship-Sinking Black Water or Black Water Submerging Boats depending on which version you may have come across).

Here's where He Xuan's use of deception comes in. Deception was used in his revenge plot to get back at Shi Wudu for what he did. He infiltrated the heavens, going undercover as the Earth Master and waiting for centuries to gather information and plan his revenge while having Hua Cheng as an accomplice and acting as a spy for him while maintaining his cover in the heavens. He even had many clones set up in heaven to gain information. He used deception to help him get revenge and justice for his family for Shi Wudu's actions.

Furina's / Focalors' use of deception

In Genshin Impact ( a video game), Furina/ Focalors is the Hydro Archon ( a god that can control water) of the nation of Fontaine and is the god of justice. Originally, Furina and Focalors were one being ( the original Focalors when she gained a human form and later became the Hydro archon).

Focalors' deception was part of a plan to deceive the Heavenly principles and save Fontaine from doom. Like many Genshin players who reached the Masquerade of the Guilty Archon Quest, Focalors' predecessor, Egeria, used the power of the Primordial Sea to create a new race of humans in Fontaine, and the action was deemed sin and the people sinners from the Heaven Principles. It also leads to a prophecy of the destruction of Fontaine, where the people will be dissolved in water and leave the hydro archon weeping on the throne. To save the people of Fontaine, Focalors split her being into her divinity (still named Focalors) and her human self, Furina. Focalors had Furina be an actor to pretend to be the god of justice and Hydro Archon to fulfill the Hydro Archon’s role in the prophecy and let it play out to trick the Heavenly Principles into thinking the prophecy will be/ has been fulfilled. Furina was also placed under a curse so she could not die as long as Focalors' divinity still existed so she could stay alive long enough until the prophecy was fulfilled, the people of Fontaine were safe and she could live a happy life afterward. Furina maintained her role for 500 years and never told anyone about it. Although she didn't know Focalors' full plan, except to play her role as an Archon. While Focalors hid in the Oratrice Mecanique D'analyse Cardinale to create enough energy to destroy the Hydro Archon's divine throne/place among Celestia while sacrificing herself in the process. Doing so will return the Hydro Archon's authority to whom it was originally stolen from, the Hydro sovereign/Hydro Dragon, Neuvillette (the current one) so he could forgive the people of Fontaine's sin, saving them from being dissolved in the water.

Conclusion:

Everyone here uses deception as part of their own plans and they have similar motives to one another. Shi Wudu and Furina/ Focalors wish to protect/save someone ( Shi QingXuan and the people of Fontaine) While Furina/ Focalors and He Xuan wish to bring justice to someone they care about (He Xuan's loved ones and himself and give back Neuvillette's full power and the continuation of existence for the people of Fontaine (Fontaine's original Justice)).

However how they put their plans into action somewhat differs, especially in what they chose to sacrifice. Shi Wudu chose to sacrifice He Xuan to trick the Reverend of Empty Words into going after him in order to protect Shi Qingxuan. In He Xuan's case, he sacrifices his time to thoroughly plan out his revenge scheme. Although his relationship with Shi Qingxuan could count as a sacrifice I feel like it would depend on how you look at it. When He Xuan started his revenge plan, he gave Shi Qingxuan many outs so he could just go after Shi Wudu alone and adjusted his plans so that Shi Qingxuan would be relatively alright. But in the end, He Xuan still killed Shi Wudu. While Furina sacrifices her time for 500 years, she also sacrifices her sense of identity for pretending to be someone she’s not, and ultimately her happiness until her role ends to trick the Heavenly Principles. While behind the scenes, Focalors sacrifices herself to give her authority back to Neuvillette so the people’s sins can be forgiven and Fontaine can be saved.

Another thing I want to point out is the morality of these situations. Furina/Focalors' use of deception is on the righteous side of things as everything they did was to save their nation. While Shi Wudu’s and He Xuan’s use of deception was in more gray areas. Shi Wudu wanted to protect Shi Qingxuan from the Reverend of Empty Words but he chose to use an innocent man who wasn’t even involved in the first place and let him experience all kinds of hell. While He Xuan seeks vengeance against Shi Wudu, it can be easily justified as Shi Wudu was the one to change He Xuan’s fate and let misfortune befall him and his loved ones. But let’s face it, they both have justifiable reasons for doing what they did, it was just their actions in the situation were fucked up.

Actually, all three of them were in fucked up situations and they were doing what they feel was right for them to do.

Anyway, it was really interesting how each of them was related to water and they had used deception in some way or another. I wonder if they have some mythology related to or something about it culturally as the author of TGCF, Mo Xiang Tong Xiu or MXTX, and the game company that created Genshin Impact, Hoyoverse, are from China and elements in their plot in the lore/stories are based on the culture.

And yes, there's actually a very surprising amount of platonic-able characters. Especially so with the main group that the MC is with, whom, without venturing into spoiler territory, give some very strong found family vibes. And I know from reading your stuff, that that's a story trope/theme that you very much enjoy! Yeah, I can see the appeal in having Focalors being an objectively evil-ish Archon, personally she definitely gave me that vibe in 2d Fontaine trailer, though I imagine Hoyoverse is going to save that for the Tsarita when Sneznhaya eventually comes out in the next two or three centuries/j Or maybe we might even see that with Murata (or whoever the current Pyro Archon is) with Natlan, we'll just have to wait and find out!

well! i have news for you, and all the others who wanted me to get into hsr: i started about three hours ago and am completely taken by it. i'm not very far in yet but i have started <3

to me, focalors seems like she might be a pitiable villain, which is alright (don't get me wrong; i love my pitiable villains fr), but it would have been nice to see an objectively villainous archon. i don't think murata will be like that either, if this line is anything to go off of: "When the God of War shares this secret with the Traveler, it is because she has her reasons." it seems like she'll be more of a morally neutral character with her own goals and interests, if anything. i could, of course, be wrong, and would love to see her be a bit villainous! and i feel like the tsaritsa is just an anti-villain; from what we know, her goals are ultimately good, but she is doing vile things to reach them.

either way i'm sure all of the seven will grow on me, but i will mourn the loss of objectively villainous focalors fr /lh

   » Xavier — Initially, he becomes anxious near holidays. This isn't to say he's a miser. Quite the opposite! He wants to enjoy the holidays, but a string of very, very bad years have left him extremely nervous whenever holidays roll around. He needs to be gently coaxed and shown that it'll be okay, that he wont have the world collapse on him again like the years before.

— He conceals his birthday every year. Xavier always hopes that people will forget his birthday, because he feels extremely guilty that it's literally the day before Beelzebub's and Belphegor's. He doesn't want anyone to feel overwhelmed needing to prep for three people's big days, and doesn't want the spotlight taken off the twins at all; good luck getting him to confess what day it is! The question is dodged every time, so it needs to come from official records.

— When he opens up more, he LOVES Halloween. Halloween being Diavolo's birthday aside, Xavier always loves the creativeness that goes in to the holiday; all the costumes, the acting that goes in to horror attractions, and the themed food where people bring out such artistic sides to make visually appealing stuff. He gets REALLY in to it!

   » Focalor — He's a bit of a miser about holidays... for now. It's pretty clear to see why he'd abstain from holidays; Focalor lacks anyone to celebrate any of them with, any reason to celebrate them. To him they're just absolutely obnoxious events that make getting peace and quiet a lot more difficult, but perhaps that can change in the future.

— Focalor actually forgot his birthday. Don't expect an answer out of him regarding his birthday. Even if he wanted to tell you, he genuinely forgot when it was. A few hundred years of never considering it will do that to a man. It's only recorded in official RAD documents now.

— If he HAD to pick a holiday to celebrate, it would be New Years. Outwardly he tells you it's a good excuse to get blackout drunk and ignore the world, but secretly it's probably the only thing he has left as a measurement of certainty. There will always be a new year, so every year he makes it a goal to see the next one.

   » Aamon — To offset the others, Aamon LOVES holidays. They're his excuses to go all out, to just let loose without a care about his image — after all, no one would blame a demon for indulging in a bit of excess for a big event. You could probably find enough holiday cheer from Aamon in private to make up for 100 dour demons.

— Oh he remembers his birthday. And he hopes you do too. While he wont typically give someone flack for not remembering, it does sting a bit when people forget his birthday especially after he sends a bunch of texts inviting people over to the grand party he throws every year. If you're a party-person, his birthday is not something you'll wanna miss.

— Christmas, when introduced to the Devildom, is his favourite. The expectation to be over-the-top gaudy with decorations and dresswear combined with the act of selflessly giving to others just screams Aamon. You can expect a new yearly party hosted by yours truly, each one with new and unique spins to keep things fresh and memorable. And by Jove he goes above and beyond with beautiful decorations; expect a gorgeous feast for the eyes as well as for the belly when you attend.

   » Shuuji — While he likes holidays, he tends to forget them. He works so much that they tend to sneak up on him and catch him last-minute if he's not explicitly reminded near-daily. Momohime has begun to keep tabs on this and will often leave surprise alarms on his D.D.D with notes so he wont forget.

— He's another serial "hides the birthday date" person. Though he mostly doesn't want people fussing over him or feeling obligated to celebrate his birthday. Plus, a small part of him likes to see if people will try and deduce it and what they would do to learn it thanks to his career as a private investigator in the Devildom.

— If he had to pick a holiday, he'd choose White Day. However he will give back to anyone who gave him something for Valentine's Day, not just those of the opposite gender. For him, the idea of getting a month to prepare a gift to repay those who showed such a simple gesture is one he adores for the sheer delight and surprise it would bring the recipient. He likes other gift-based holidays and birthdays, but White Day feels a lot more personal to him which is what makes it his favourite.

Biography:

Hailing from the land of Fontaine he had been in the service Lord of Amrita since the time after the Archon War, dedicating his time to following the will of the Hydro Archon. Few knew where he came from or why he stuck around because whenever he was asked he would simply claim that it didn't matter because he was a spear for the Hydro Archon to wield.

If anyone asked his name he'd lie, claim it was Neptune and if anyone demanded the truth he would just say it didn't matter because the man he was before died when he swore fealty to the Lord of Amrita.

He actively kept a low profile for over a thousand years, doing as he was told then vanishing until he was needed again. Nothing ever seeming to faze him and no one really finding anything that seemingly garnered his interest.

Everyone that crossed his path never seemed to believe him capable of emotion until the Cataclysm. For the few that were with him upon learning of the Lord of Amrita's death would describe him in one word: horrified.

After that some expected him to take offense like the Lochfolk to Focalors' rise to power but he simply accepted it, wished Focalors well and with little more than his wishes that Focolars would live up to the same greatness as the former Hydro Archon.

Character Notes:

➢ The only thing truly noteworthy (atm) is that Neptune is incredibly private, he can listen to someone talk all day and is willing to answer very simple questions but quickly grows anxious when people start prying into his past. Usually he just tries to redirect or leave the conversation altogether.

➢ Most of the questions, if he chooses to answer them, about his past usually revolve around what he has been doing since leaving Fontaine. Whenever he gets questions about his life in Fontaine he usually avoids the question or refuses to answer.

➢ That said for those that knew him that he had a tendency to be willing to open up to people under three criteria; they help him in someway, defeat him in battle or offer him something to drink (alcohol or otherwise). He claims it is just good manners to offer something in return to those that can better him or help him when he didn't ask for it.

➢ The only time he is seen happy is at the Harvisptokhm. Once in a while even offering anyone that may be there with him drink or some of his supplies for their trip to where ever they are going next.

➢ He has a hydro vision.

➢ His opinion on Focalors currently is pending.

➢ He is lowkey battlesexual, in his own words "when being pushed to ones limits is the only time he feels alive".

Since then he has traveled all over Tevyat, working where ever there was a dock or whatever fisherman needed a pair of strong arms. When the work dried up or people started asking to many questions he didn't want to answer he moved on.

Okay I need to talk about this dream I had today that I want to do art for later, and will get to eventually hopefully BUT 

If you love Dragalia and you love Magi, strap in, this one’s for you. 

Basically in my dream, there was a new facility event (logically it was probably one of the crossover events like FE or Megaman, both of which I could not play because my phone is old lol) but it was weird because we got Alibaba as a free 4* unit; he was a fire dagger. There was an accompanying pull, which consisted of Aladdin as a 4* wind wand, Morgiana as a 4* fire lance with specific special animations, and Sinbad as the 5* fire unit. 

Aladdin and Morg acted as normal adventurers, where when you paired them with a dragon they would just transform into it. Aladdin had a shielding skill and even though he was a wand he acted as a healer, and again Morg had special actions where even though she attacked with the same range and force strike as a lance, instead of stabbing she did kicks and punches. Kinda like Veronica I guess? Where she has the book but you still get to choose her weapon but she never holds it lol

Anyway the fun part of the dream was Alibaba and Sinbad. So Alibaba was the free 4*, and he could be equipped with a dragon to get the stats BUT, instead of having the dragon next to him to transform, it was Amon’s face. So when you transformed, he went into his full Djinn Equip, and was roughly the size and model of one of the human-like dragons like Apollo or Marishiten. So SINBAD, being the 5*, was like this but ELEVATED. Because it was a fire event, Sinbad’s base element was fire, but like that other post I made about Daoko, he switched attributes depending on what team he was on. And like Alibaba, he had the same system of “gets stats from dragon but transforms into Djinn.” BUT BECAUSE HE SWAPPED ATTRIBUTES, HE HAD FIVE DIFFERENT TRANSFORMATIONS IT WAS SO COOL. So every time he swapped attributes, the Djinn that showed up in the transformation button next to his face was different akfslf 

In my dream he had Focalor for fire, which I think was just the color similarity, but thinking about this later, Sinbad would be a 5* fire sword and his Djinn in accordance to attribute would be: Focalor for wind, Valefor for Water (cuz ice like Lily and Fiorm), Baal for light (cuz he’s lightning, like Albert), even though he was never shown in the anime Crocell for fire, and then because he has no where else to fit Zepar for dark (although Furfur, similarly not shown, is Actually the Djinn of ‘Rending Darkness’ soooo). Their moves would all summon the eight pointed star when used haha, and For Sure Baal’s attack would be Bararaq Inquerad Saiqa, and Focalor’s would be Cleaving Wind haha. Valefor’s Stagnation would probably just freeze all enemies on map for a second, which is not how he works in the manga/anime BUT it would be good for cheese LOL

While I was telling my gf about this this AM, I was also thinking how good it would be to have the Ren kids too. Like Kouen as a 5* fire blade or sword with Astaroth and his flaming dragon (and maybe his other skills reference his other Djinn, like he has a healing move for Phenex), Hakuryuu as a wind bow with Zagan or a dark lance with Belial, Kouha as a dark axe with Laraje, Kougyoku my GIRL as a water sword with Venea, and Hakuei as a wind wand or sword with Paimon. Maybe like a prt. 2 of the event or something haha

It’ll never happen, but I think this could work as a really cool event. Especially because I think Alibaba and Euden would get along with each other, and Elly/Morg would probably bond over protecting their idiot blonde fire princes haha Clau and Hakuryuu cooking together, and Aladdin/Kouha/Luca/Ranzal hitting it off and playing pranks. Kougyoku and Hakuei would probably enjoy chilling with Elly and Clau over tea; but also considering how much Vanessa and Yachiyo like to fight, Kougyoku would have a great time sparring them so it would just be Hakuei and the other two sitting by and watching while those three go to town on each other LOL And it would be cool to see Euden learning from both Sinbad and Kouen (and maybe in the end deciding that they’re extreme opposite sides of the same coin, and deciding to continue to pursue something in the center even if it’s harder but it’s because as a ruler he believes it’s what’s right for his people. Sinbad could say something like “that’s how a true king could think,” and Kouen could be like “lofty ideal, but admirable” or something haha)

I GOT A GOOD ONE!! Senario for a modern au please! Sinbad comes homes to see multiple police outside his house. When he asks an officer they say they recieved a call from his wife saying a thief broke into the house. He rushes in, only to see his teary eyed wife tending to Baal (who is a dog) with a broken leg and a bat sitting beside her. The other 6 dogs are either with her or they're growling at the beat up and bruised man who's tied to a chair and conked out. Sinbad'sthoughts and reaction?😀

I love how descriptive your requests are, keep that up! Also, I added a little something, something just because I can~!

Sinbad:

He had a giddy smile on his face at the thought of coming back home to you, waiting for him in bed so he could cuddle with you and fall asleep after a long day at work. He had been working late on account to Ja’far wanting him to finish signing a few documents. 

As he approached his home, his eyes widened and he feared the worst as they were three cop cars in front of his house, he ran out of his car (almost tripping along the way).

He could barely form coherent words as he approached an officer, “h-how…? W-What…?” He stuttered as he stumbled through his words. 

The officer blinked but soon understood what he meant, “we got a distress call from a woman earlier, she’s inside. I’d have to guess she’s your wife?” She asked, raising a brow. Sinbad nodded vigorously.

She chuckled, “you have a fine set of dogs and she is one tough cookie. They’re all fine but one dog only has an injury, but he’ll be fine.” 

Sinbad sighed in relief and ran inside only to see you, crying while holding Baal who had a bandaged leg. The rest of his dogs: Valefor, Zepar, Furfur, Focalor, Vepar, and Crocell growling and baring their teeth as a man with blood and bruises all over him. He wondered how and soon noticed the bat sitting next to you.

He collapsed down next to you and brought you into a hug, “thank god you’re safe…” He whispered as he stroked your hair, he felt you wrap your arms around you. Along with your arms, he felt his chest getting wet.

“Y/N?” He asked, his voice laced with concern. You wiped your eyes and held him tighter, almost afraid he would leave. After that experience, he wasn’t surprised.

“I-I’m sorry… I was just so scared,” you whimpered as Sinbad continued stroking your hair while listening to your story, “I-I was going to sleep because you were late and I heard the front door open, I thought it was you but then the dogs started barking and growling… I… I was so scared…”

Sinbad shushed you and pressed a kiss to your head, “you’re safe now. What happened next? Can you tell me?” He asked. He needed to know so then he wouldn’t be in the dark about all this.

He felt you nod, “the dogs gave me enough time to grab a bat a-and I knocked him out, I called the police after that, that man probably knew who you were and your company… B-Baal got hurt, that man… I don’t know what he did but Baal got hurt protecting me…”

Baal, sensing you were upset, rested his head on your lap and nuzzled your stomach. You smiled down at him and pet his head, “thank you…” You mumbled to Baal, “Sin?” 

He looked down at you, “yes?” He asked. You bit your lip and took in a deep breath, you looked up at him and grabbed his arms. 

“I’m… Pregnant.”

Sinbad looked like he was ready to murder the man sitting in that chair for almost hurting and possibly murdering his wife and unborn child. As he was about to get up with a livid look in his eyes, you gripped his sleeves tightly. 

“Please don’t!” 

He looked at you, surprised, but then he saw the tears running down your cheeks again. “Please, just hold me…” You whispered. Sinbad did exactly that and didn’t let you go until the cops came in and escorted the man out. 

When the whole mess was sorted out Sinbad saw you had fallen asleep and carried you upstairs. He almost chuckled as they dogs followed him to sleep with you two, he’d have to make sure to pamper them for all this later. 

Once you were in bed Sinbad went to change out of his suit and came back to see all the dogs nuzzled around you. He almost rolled his eyes and pushed some of them out of the way so he could cuddle you, he wrapped his arms around your waist and smiled as you nuzzled into his chest. Sinbad placed a hand on your stomach and rubbed it softly, he couldn’t be happier with the news. 

Although, one thing that contradicted that was the fact all the dogs were going to make this bed into a furnace with their body heat. It was not going to be a pleasant morning.
