Some archon quest spoilers!! /!/
I wasn't ready for so much angst ;;w;;
I find it so funny that the two are overworking mystical creature who only dream of a big vacancy break /o/ I think they deserve a beach day together (maybe with the Duke and Sigewinne hehe)
And a scene I really miss into the story, Iudex appologies for seeing nothing during all these years and Furina forgiving him.
(I don't ship them btw, I just see them as siblings energy, the duo is so funny x) )

Fun fact: The scenes during Furina's inner world's play directly correlate to a day. The last scene, 182376, when divided by 365, is 499.66. It has been established Furina has been alive for about 500 years.
Furina has been alive for 499 years and nearly 8 months. She has been forced to play the role of the Hydro Archon for all but one of those days.
This also suggests the Hydro Archon's trial takes place sometime in June, given Furina's birthday is 10/13. Take that what you will.

i'm so sorry for judging you, your honor.
he's so??? nice??? and?? awkward??? 😭 That was NOT how I was expecting the first meeting to be but I'm not complaining at all!! In terms of manner-of-speech, he reminds me of Zhongli but unlike him, he possesses like -10000000 emotional intelligence. That scene of him constantly apologizing to Navia because he doesn't know what else to say or do is now stuck in my head. I'm convinced he'd be the most frustrating male yandere in genshin ever — yes, you can step down now Alhaitham.
Because, not only does he seem to genuinely not understand humans, but also that he's terrible at expressing his own emotions. It'll be so difficult to communicate with him in matters that involve emotions that you'd much rather go to prison (I know I'd just end up crying from sheer frustration). Yes no grandpa, making it rain actually doesn't help. Putting that aside, whew that archon quest...

Personally my favourite part of the archon quest was when Skirk threw Childe through an endless void portal to who fucking knows where by the scruff of his neck, and then said nothing else on the matter eecept "yh my kid is weak"

*Spoilers for Fontaine Quest*
So Furina got chased, reprimanded, trapped, publicly questioned, had the people she trusted the most doubt and trick her, left alone to cry by herself, and you’re telling me that she doesn’t even get the tiniest of head pats? Blasphemy.

"Furina is not an archon"
[Genshin Impact 4.2 / Fontaine Archon Quest Act V spoilers]
I still consider her technically an Archon (at least before the ending of 4.2 AQ) because she is the actual physical body and mortal spirit of Focalors, forcibly separated from the divine consciousness of Focalors, which was sealed in the Oratrice and dedicated to the collection of Indemnitium.
Focalors herself even says she and Furina are "one." What is unclear is how Focalors was able to separate herself into two distinct consciousnesses: a genuine human spirit (Furina) and the divine one (Focalors in the Oratrice). Considering all the nods to Christianity in Fontaine's AQ I'd chalk it up to being an allusion to the holy trinity; in Focalors' case she became two persons in one god (is there a third? idk honestly I don't read enough lore)
Yet even without divine powers, and despite passing centuries and a looming prophecy weighing down on her mortal soul, Furina was able to deceive the Heavenly Principles for 500 years - playing her role perfectly to the end and allowing Focalors' plan to succeed, saving the people of Fontaine.
Just to stress how powerful Furina's willpower was, let's recall that breaking Furina's facade required the fulfilment of a prophesized event with the intervention of the Hydro Dragon Sovereign, two Fatui Harbingers, the House of the Hearth, the Spina de Rosula, and a superpowered traveler from another world. All that power against a human girl.
She may be "only" human but she has certainly accomplished a godlike feat on par with the other Archons. So perhaps calling her "only" human is a disservice, because if her story tells us anything, it's that humanity has the strength to challenge and defeat the gods.
