This is a week long writing-based challenge (artists could hop on but I don't how that will work). This will be one (1) singular piece of writing written throughout the week or less if you choose a time based challenge.

You will choose a difficulty level (1-5) to begin. You are highly recommended to not choose Level 5, it is there to be impossible difficulty. Then you will select either a word-count based or time based challenge.

There are no content restrictions and is open to any MCYT community (not just Hermitcraft). I only ask for you to tag appropriately and use common sense.

level one: the frozen crypt - 1k in one week

level two: the caves of carnage - 3k for one week or 2k for five days

level three: the black mines - 6k for one week or 3k for four days

level four: the burning dark - 10k for one week or 5k for three days

level five: beat the dungeon - 20k for one week or 10k in one day

This is a fan-run event for Empires Smp (both seasons), you would be creating art, writing, web weaving, moodboards and other creative arts for the character and post it on their day.

I'm not operating on a strict timeline as long as you post it on their day or after you're fine.

I will be tracking the tag up to two weeks after the event is finished, so don't be pressured to post on the correct dates. Open to questions if you have any!

@hyper-berry (i think you hid yourself in the tumblr search so i can't properly tag you sorry) Empires SMP S2 - So like, the empire rulers are at a meeting together and all of a damn sudden a canary comes flying out of nowhere. It starts chirping and stuff and everyone is confused af. Then they just see Jimmy nodding and humming and the bird seemingly talking with the bird. Idk, that’s all I have it was just a random idea lul. I like thinking that Jimmy can interact with canaries and the other emperors don’t know so they are just confused when they see jimmy talking with a bird.

this month's meeting was highly contested on where it would take place. normally joel would be hosting this month's meeting but that section of the palace is currently under renovation making it unusable. tumble town was the last place most people wanted to go so suddenly it because the best choice for a political debate.

as per usual, joey and shubble were arguing across the table, matter unknown. the other emperors staying silent already tired from the countless other arguments the pair has have since the start of the empires.

a burst of birdsong came through the window catching jimmy's attention, standing up to get closer. hands stretching out from the window seemingly trying to grab something. the other emperors begging for the distraction looked at him curiously.

slowly a bright yellow canary landed in jimmy's hands, chirping out complains of their birdhouse. jimmy nodding every so often, agreeing.

joel bursted out in laughter, "what the hell are you doing man? that bird is not going to understand you."

"what! can't a man chat in peace?" jimmy snarled out defensively, cradling the canary closer to his chest.

realizing it was not a bit the emperors expressed confusion over talking to birds and lt led to jimmy realizing that not all emperors could talk to animals of their empire.
