Do you have any roleplay recs?

hey! things seem to be a little slow at the moment, so aside from my usual culprits ( @diveronarpg, @lesfleurshq, @behindsanityrp, @nocturnalrpg ) i’m in @tidehq right now which is great! while there are no open spots at the moment there should be some available guest muses coming in september. @viollscovehq is worth looking at, and while i haven’t thoroughly gone through @olympians-hq, what i saw seemed promising!

hey sien! do you have any tips on how to create a successful skeleton rp??? i'd really love to do something similar to the "old school" style groups from 2014/2015, but i'm not sure if there's any interest in them anymore ???

❞ HI LOVELY !! I do think there are plenty of roleplayers out there who wouldn’t mind an ‘ old school ‘ roleplay, where aesthetics and tiny gifs and fancy themes don’t matter and it’s all about the actual roleplaying, the replying back and forth, the development of your roles and building of connections. I think, if you pair that up with a bit of an intriguing plot, I’m sure people will like that. As to your first question – what lures me in, when it comes to skeleton roleplay, is the amount of time and effort an admin has put in to the skeletons ?? A nice skeleton page with some ( faceless ) pictures and aesthetics or a smallvague description of what the role is like or a couple connections always work very well for me – and I feel like those roleplays tend to get quite a nice number of apps too ?? Or, you could throw together a cute character graphic and post the skeletons, which works just as well for me. What is also super interesting and something to think about, is having your skeletons by inspired by something other than just a simple label – like I have seen skeletons based on gemstones, skeletons based on ancient artifacts ( shoutout @tidehq ), etc… Come up with something original, and I am sure people in the rpc will dig it.
