TIGAON, CAMARINES SUR -- A homemade local chili-based product at Porto Kitchen from Mabalodbalod town, Tigaon, Camarines Sur was fully presented at the 2023 Regional Young Farmers' Challenge: Upscale Category via the Department of Agriculture (DA) during 'Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair' in Nabua, the said region.

Per the exclusive radio report as DZRP-FM 94.5mhz's FMR: Radyo Partido, as one Agri-Economist and Chili Farmer named Angelica Porto of 'Porto Kitchen' received a financial grant worth PHP300k (roughly U$D5,300) from the DA, and was personally taken home by the Philippine President (Ferdinand "Bongbong" Romualdez Marcos Jr.) as a Grand Champion in 1st Place.

Joshua Ros of Black J won 2nd Place in Ligao City, Albay and Carine May Virtus of Animatik Integrated Farm also won in 3rd Place.

According to Ms. Porto, the opportunity and support from the local government is a great leisure for young people like them who are trying to develop themselves and small or medium businesses for the Filipinos.

The group will represent the Bicolandias or Bicol Region, participating in the National Leg Competition (NLC) where the prize will soon reach to PHP500k (U$D8,811).

MY AUTOBIOGRAPHY

Hi, the name that was given to me is Keith Althea P. Viola. My pronouns are she/her. I am the second of four children of my lovely parents, named Edmond M. Viola and Marites P. Viola. Both of my parents grew up in Bicol. I was born on September 04, 2004 in Tigaon, Camarines sur Bicol. So yes! I’m a proud Bicolana. Although I grew up here in Cavite, I won’t forget where I came from. I had a family reunion in Bicol in 2011 that was so amazing and full of memorable experiences that will be treasured forever. I have three lovely sister and I grew up with them. We always get our back. I’m gladly grateful to have them. Most of my relatives stay in Bicol, and we had a family reunion in Bicol when I was young. I was five years old at that time, and it was so amazing land full of memorable experiences that will be treasured forever.

When I was a little kid, I used to always play outside, and it was really fun and memorable. We were always in a nearby park, and it went smoothly because I was with my friends. How cute, because the only problem I had at the time was figuring out how to avoid fetching in my playing area. Small things bring me so much joy. The top 3 games I played with my friends were ‘’Tumbang Preso, Patintero, and Jolen’’. Not to mention that my childhood years were the best year of my life. I also attended bible study when I was a little girl. I met someone that inspired me to become a police. She was our ‘’Ate’’ and told a lot of inspirational stories. When it’s break, she always talks about other courses because we’re young. So we should be aware of what we want in future. Moreover, the little me says I dreamt back then of becoming a strong police to respect and protect the rights of all people. To treat all people fairly, impartially, and with concern and compassion, to reduce crime and the fear of crime within the community and all over the world because this is what I’ve learned from Remco. He taught me that whenever we do things, we should do them with all our heart, gratitude, and forgiveness. My life when I started to study was also memorable, yes. At first, I had this crying session because I didn’t want to be left alone with my parents in school, but as time goes by, I need to learn to stand my own for good. The center of my life during those years that taught me to be brave was when I was in a Bible study, from which I’ve learned a lot. God should always be at the center of the things that we do. In my junior high school, I experienced this breakdown, which led me to question myself. I had a lot of doubts. What if my parents fought and that could have led to a separation? How thankful I was that it didn’t happen. I saw my mother crying all day, which made my heart hurt more. I was having a breakdown at that time, but thinking that my mother was also on the same path, I needed to be strong and do whatever it took to make her proud.

The things I loved to do when I was in junior high school that helped me to know myself more were: I joined different clubs and organizations; it made my school days exciting and wonderful. I discovered a lot and learned about my desired dreams. I also went to may part time work to help my parents also, to pay our everyday bills and after work I go to study. This routine made me wonder why I should to do my best to be successful. I doubt my course, but who wouldn’t know if I wouldn’t even try? I am on my way to becoming and pursuing police. I know it might be hard and I’ll experience a lot of hard things before I get there, but I am ready to face those things. I’ve grown up now, but I know that there are a lot things I need to know. I crave success. I’m now at this stage where I receive pressure from my parents and myself, but I know that this pressure will help me to achieve bigger things. I always look forward to doing better things because that’s my purpose and dream for my little me. Day by day, I am always wanting to learn.

ADELPHA’S BURGER TIGAON BRANCH

NEW NORMAL DINING EXPERIENCE AT ADELPHA’S BURGER TIGAON BRANCH

This is my first time here last Friday. Right after my sort of fieldwork, I finally went to visit the Adelpha’s Burger Tigaon Branch. This is the first branch but I was able to visit the old and new Goa Branch first since it was much nearer for me since I am also half Goaeno although I seldom go home especially since the pandemic. In fact, I was able to blog about the old Goa Branch too which was once located near LCC Mall. I will blog too the new Gown Branch that is now in front of Prime Supermarket.

Adelpha’s Tigaon is a witness to its humble beginnings. Before they started branching out in Goa, this is where it all started. Aside from its Instagram-worthy and unique aesthetic interiors that has drawn the attention of millennials, the servings are quite distinctive as well because of their “pag-ibig hugot” themes. Moreover, the food they serve is delicious, healthy and home-grown from the owner’s very own farm.

What an amazing waterfall! This third big waterfall lives up to its name, as the water cascades down the graduated steps into a deep, beautiful pool surrounded by rich flora. Who Am I?

The question of who am I seems to be the simplest question that all of us can answer literally. However, when I took time to try to figure it out who am I, I found this questions has a deeper analyzation and requires a critical thinking. This question it seems like an infinite mathematics formula that we have to think ten times for us to be answered. The answer to this question is not only our identity but also our personality. In fact it is a simplest question but there are follow-up questions like who am I as a person and as an individual in this society?

I am Princess Camille Palaypayon, twenty years old and a college student. I was born in General Trias, Cavite. I live in San Rafael, Tigaon, Camarines Sur. During my elementary days, my life is like a stagnant water. In this chapter of my life, as you can see there’s nothing special and excitement. I am just an ordinary little girl who loves to play, go to school, eat and sleep. That is my routine during my childhood days. I am just an innocent that time. When I was in high school, something changed within myself. It's like I’m being in a stage of process. There are so many adjustments that leads to the adolescence. There are so many foreign emotions to me like curiosity, insecurities, selfishness, hatred and being a hard-headed. Also, my physical appearance has a lot of changes unlike in my previous days. Sometimes, I'm in the situation where I’m making my own labyrinth that I dont know what’s really going on. We know that labyrinth is a complicated irregular network of paths. In that time, I was really confused of what is right and wrong. I can't able to figure it out, so it may result to failure or mistake. People around me contributes a big impact that affects my decision-making. To tell you the truth I’m not that being religious. Im not used to read bible often as other people do. I only go to the church and pray whenever I have a free time. I encounter a lot of problems, challenges, and failures that I can't able to overcome, and there was a time that I want to give up. That’s my life when I’m on the process of adolescence.

Nowadays, Im in the middle chapter of my life. When I entered in college, everything is new to me. My school is a christian school. I hope that it is the best way that will help me recognize God and accept him in my life. I started reading bible and I realized that reading bible gives more comfort and reflection as you. I meet different person and different personality. I figure out that something is changing in my personality. I always try to control my emotions and handle myself in certain situations in order to avoid regrets.

Every stage of my life has it's own unique story. Every now and then, everybody can change and never in at constant because human are evolving at desired at their state. We discovered a lot of things that is foreign to us. It is our choice if we are going to the right path or at the worst one. I am the architecture of my life . I can choose what bricks that I want to build. We explored different labyrinth, dark passages and secret chambers of our life. If I can go back to my childhold days , I want to say that I should be enjoying every moment of my life because without those problems and challenges we cannot undestand the things in this world. I conclude that in that question who am I? I cannot really answer it because I'm still in the process of seeking of who I really am. I cannot answer accurately because this is not the final chapter of my life. There are so many things that I should understand, encounter and explore for me to make as who I am.

Who Am I?

​When we heard that question, a lot of things will comes to our mind, one of which is questioning ourselves as who we are as a person? Basically, knowing yourself will not end until you're dead it is just every day we discover a lot of things in this world such as skills, talents and etc. ​First, I will introduce myself, I’m Emman R. Sales the fourth child of Mr. and Mrs. Sales. My parents were blessed of five lovable, supportive, respectful and thoughtful children. My two elder siblings already finished their studies and they are now both working and it inspires me to finish also my study just like my two elder siblings and to have a decent job. I’ve been blessed a supportive, lovable and wonderful parents and if it wasn't for them I wouldn't have a chance to stand in my own feet and step up, I want to be a better person and be strong enough to face the challenges in this world to be able to reach my goals in life and become successful, and I can't make it without them. I’m also glad to have strict parents that never stop to guide me to do the right things, in that way I can learn from my mistakes and choose the right path and to do the things that would bring me to become a righteous person. I graduated elementary at Tigaon Central Pilot School and when I was high school I studied at San Rafael National High School and now I am a college freshman at SheperdVille College taking Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology. I chose this course because I know it is suits me and it will lead me to success and its my dream to work in a hospital specifically in the laboratory, performs various clinical procedure to help the physician to diagnose illnesses and to treat people as well and that interests me a lot and realize that it is a passion. I describe myself as a clumsy person because when I hold on to something it would be loss that I don’t know why it happens but not necessarily. I’m a cool-minded person, cheerful to my friend and also to my family and thoughtful when somebody needs my help. I’m also a serious type but a friendly person and I don't want to get involved with other matters which I am not interested, but I like exploring new things. I love watching television and surfing the net and playing badminton. One of my weaknesses I easily get nervous specifically when I'm assigned to report and to speak out in front of many people in a classroom base. ​ I'm anticipating that someday, I could be able to reach my goals in life.I know it is not easy to fulfill my dreams but I’m grateful to have a chance to be at the starting point of the path that will lead me to become a registered medical technologist so that I could be able to help my parents and the community as well and to do those things that will help and equip me to be the person I always dream to be and have a brighter future. God is my source of strength, without him and my parents I couldn't be able to stand in my own feet. I get my strength from God and my family in everything I do so that I could be able to know who am I and brings out the best in me.

Who am i?

Who am I? This must be the hardest yet honest question we could encounter and can answered at least once in a lifetime. It may vary in different perspective but it will always show the reality of ourselves in and out, physical and spiritual, emotional and even psychological aspect.

Well, as for me, some people says that I am an intelligent person, kind, energetic, enthusiast, competitive, and good person. They all complementing me for the achievements I acquired. All of this characteristics are true to me and I can never oppose to it because it is who I am. Above all this flattering commendations, I am now a college student taking Bachelor of Medical Technology in Shepherdville College located at Talojongon, Tigaon, Camarines Sur. I am an 18 years old woman with dedication and passion to learn and gain more than what I’ve already learned.

As we all know personalities are different from characteristics, and those characteristic that I have are already stated above. In terms of personalities, I’m this kind of person that sway in so many different moods which is associated to something or someone. I also love music as part of my stress reliever. Through music, it enlightens my mind and swipe away those chaotic thoughts inside my head and feel refreshed again but above all this my one and only comfort is through communicating with God. Because through this, every day, I feel renewed and I always have a courage to face the everyday living.

All in all, even though answering who you are is hard but through this, people around you or maybe the person reading this will realize that people are born unique. We have this sole or exclusive pleasant personalities and characteristics that will define who we are in and out, and what we are, physically and spiritually, emotionally and even psychologically speaking.

My experience in this week

Every morning, I woke up 5 am to prepare myself to go to school. When I arrive on school ,  I will park my motorcycle beside  the national highway and I will attend the class of ma'am Tayco  and after that me and my classmate will go out to the campus to eat our breakfast. When we are in the gate of mariners , I've noticed that there'  a lot of policemen in the national highway. I saw the police taking pictures of my motorcycle and one of the policeman talked to me about illegal parking . I'm so nervous that time and after a minute , I got my motorcycle and I parked inside the mariners campus. Thursday in the afternoon , I went to unc to meet my friends to watch 2019 senior high school intramural. When I entered in the sport palace , I saw my friend and we watched basketball. We are all sad because STEM lost against GAS. after the game we went to rabut eatery to eat snack and drink a very cold soft drinks. Yesterday friday in the morning , I did not attend the class because my mother command me to make deliveries of door and good lumber in Tigaon camarines Sur that's why I'm busy that time. Until now I am still waiting for my mother's other commands.

Kubo Kubo Cafe

Kubo-Kubo Cafe Location:  Caraycayon, Tigaon

It is no surprise that more and more alfresco cafes have been popping out along the road these days. As we all cope up with the new normal and trying to recover, alfresco cafes are one of the thriving businesses and becoming a trend. 

One of the newly opened alfresco cafes in the Partido district of Camarines Sur is Kubo Kubo Cafe. I actually visited last December before 2021 ends. This was supposedly my year ender blog but took me some time to update because I got so busy with work and I actually went to a lot of different places too as the year 2022 started. 

I came to know about this place also because of social media. It has been quite popular to those who live in Partido district, travelers and even cyclists who go for biking around. People are really traveling for it and I think it was that made me visit either. Aside from photo and blog opportunities, I have always been drawn to places that people visit because of the food and drinks they serve. The cozy ambiance is just a plus. Hehehe

Consider this as our throwback of our visit. You might still see the Christmas decorations, it was because this was taken during Christmas season. It was also famous for these aesthetic and instagrammable spots. 

Masiram magkape-kape igdiho ngunyan na malipot na panahon ta mauran an summer ta. Very cozy ang ambiance. Igwa sinda hot and cold drinks tapos mga meals and snacks. You can refer to the menu by going back to the first photos of this blog entry. 

I was able to try their chicken fillet with lettuce salad, tuna sandwich and iced chocolate for dinner. Worth the money. I was really full after finishing my meal and drink.

Who Am I ?

It's my peasure to introduce myself, I'm 19 years old. I live in Baranggay;Mabalodbalod, Tigaon , Camarines sur I Graduated of Senior high school at Partido Agro Industrial National High School, Many people ask me, who am I , I'm a student who has a goal to accomplish . My goal is to become a successful in life. I had this goal since I was a kid; I'm the wetness for all the sacrifices of my parent to finish my studying . I believe that someday I can be a person who successful in life.

My strengths are my attitude that I like to take challenges that I can do it,my way of thinking that I take both success and failure in balanced manner, I don't like to say weakness but I like to say scope for improvement that is I want perfection in everything ,I have a greatest ability to procrastinate on anything that is giving to me it's like a second nature to put thing off.

now I'm a college student I'll do my best to become a good student and also to learn.
