According to Meghan, the higher price point of their cheesecakes reflects the premium quality of their ingredients, such as top-grade cream cheese. A whole 18-inch diameter cheesecake starts at PHP1,250 Philippine pesos (nearly U$D22 dollars), while a single slice costs PHP145 (or U$D2.60). The business also offers a 20% discount for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and senior citizens on their dine-in or takeout orders, as strictly mandated by the Philippine law.

The soft opening was delayed due to construction and costing issues, but the team wanted to ensure the new place was perfected before opening its doors to the public. The official reopening was streamed LIVE on the Twitch broadcast of local public media broadcaster 'OneNETtv Channel' just about 9:55am. The brand invites everyone in Dumaguete to come and enjoy their cakes and coffee, now with a wider range of offerings and a better atmosphere.

The indie cheesecake house opens daily from 9am to 10pm. In this instance, technical speculation on the misuse of an account is a strong possibility, wherein an individual representing either an intern or an administrator uses a personal account, instead of the official site when logged into the official 'Global Media Arts - Regional TV News' page, who intentionally use of a laughing emoji. This brings into question, the protocol and management of the social media content of a large news organization, and whether there is a marked difference between professional and personal social media practices. Using their screenshots posted by "Shinzuii", OneNETnews can exclusively verify that a major commercial broadcasting outlet of 'GMA Regional TV' has been confirmed as legit.

For a brief context on both country borders, the Chinese game "Wuthering Waves" is a free-to-play open world action role-playing game (RPG) produced by Kuro Games in late mid-May 2024. The action unfolds in the post-apocalyptic world where civilization has been redeveloped after a disaster that occurred and was named the Lament. The story follows an amnesiac wanderer named 'Rover'. "Rascal Does Not Dream" is a Japanese light novel series about a high school student named 'Sakuta Azusagawa' who helps others dealing with a supernatural phenomenon called "Adolescence Syndrome".

The fan-made video that received the reaction used characters from the said Chinese RPG to re-enact a scene from, as well as the said Japanese anime series and films. We reach out to 'GMA Regional TV News' via e-mail correspondence. But as of this weekend, they have not heard back, nor released an official statement.

This viral laughing reaction from the official GMA RTV News' social media account could potentially cause corporate damage to the news organization by calling its professionalism into question. The incident has resulted in jokes and speculations by the people, and some online users have even redefined the GMA acronym. The absence of any official announcement by the network has only served to increase speculation and the feeling of unprofessionalism, giving it a bad image and public perception that can have a great impact in terms of its worst credibility and public trust.

American youth commercial cable broadcaster 'Cartoon Network News', in collaboration with the 'Bacolod City Police Office' (BCPO), has been investigating a viral video that captured a male suspect from the municipality of 'Don Salvador Benedicto', this said province, in a fit of rage.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development-Region VI (DSWD-6) urgently seeks the fruit vendor victim of domestic violence, giving her emotional support and counseling services, enabling her to survive the traumatic incident.

No formal teasing of the inclusion was done; its arrival was an easter egg to Filipino anime fans, as well as the international audience who would know to spot the reference. FLASH REPORT OVERNIGHT: Blonde Clones of Dior's CEO "Panty Anarchy" was died, leaving only its last clone and main human core remain safe in Daten [#FirstOnOneNETnews]

A number of blonde knock-offs of 'Panty' were found dead last night during a 3rd new episode segment of "Panty & Stocking" (Season 2) anime Wednesday night (August 6th, 2025 -- Daten local time), several days before the episode taping. The primary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at 'Dior', otherwise known as 'Ms. Panty Anarchy' told OneNETnews, clones of herself failed to replicate the iconic personality.

Daten City Police Academy (DCPA) detective named 'Dario', managed to identify two (2) suspects, a non-playable character (NPC) alias "Maria", and an unknown ghostly person, presumed to be a serial killer. Footage obtained by OneNETnews shows the ghost suspect allegedly killing some of Panty's clones, which appeared to be a real recording of a traumatic horror film. The main human core of 'Panty' denied her allegations about her cloning self.

Crowds of Panty's clones lived with the police officers to be safe, sometimes even befriended them, and legally babysat as early as 6 y/o until she later grew up in either high school or college. One or more of the suspects were tracked down by Panty's girlfriend "Briefers Rock". But her associations with horror films, and moreover, with fat-shaming concerns as a grandmother, had hurt her reputation in the local film business.

Briefers came to the defense of the suspect, arguing that most horror movies employ fictional props. But this dark reality is that, when alias "Maria" used a knife weapon to attack the last clone victim of 'Panty' in kidnapping and other murder-related charges, the penalties are extremely severe under the Daten law.

The ghost suspect used his decision to cut alias "Maria" in halves with his axe, rather than arrest her. He disappeared without warning and evaded custody by claiming self-defense. Luckily, the latest victim of the blonde-haired clone, and a human core of 'Panty' were intact and unscathed by the intrusive act. As a precaution, the theater in Daten was temporarily closed, and DCPA recently closed the case in the afternoon hours.

The tragic occurrences in Daten City bring out the vague boundaries of reality and fiction, particularly in the theatrical arena of the entertainment world. Presenting a grim and the most gruesome example of potential hazards in the dark of even the safe spaces, the city reels in the aftermath as one of the most striking, reminding the effects of what the city might be facing coming out of the shadows.

Hours after the said incident, French multinational luxury and fashion firm 'Dior' issued a press statement: "Dior regrets with all its heart the terrible events surrounding Panty Anarchy's clones and wishes all the families of the people involved in this terrible tragedy for its deepest condolence. Although the significant affects 'Ms. Panty' and the final clone victim were not hurt; we are determined to assist the community in settling and reconsidering life. As a multinational brand, our value remains unchanged on being creative and inclusive, and we pledge our support with Daten City to provide a safer environment to all", the statement read to OneNETnews.

This swift decision by the DCPA, although giving a feeling of closure, does not answer many questions. The spectators are left wondering what exactly is happening to the suspects and how far they have gone in their crimes. In the future, the city should work on the safety elements. And that, there cannot be a total repeat of such an encounter.

As the mid-term election season was underway in the Philippines, the station announced its transformation via bumpers and station identifications on the free radio. The station had what would be called a soft launch on Monday (June 2nd), broadcasting from a former 'Play FM' studio booth at 'Unit 906-B, Paragon Plaza Building, EDSA corner Reliance Street, Mandaluyong City, National Capital Region'; near the southeast corner of the 'TV5 Media Center'. At that point… There will be no disc jockeys, anchors. radio reporters or staff on board, who had been officially assigned, as hiring was still underway.

And by last week on Tuesday morning (July 1st, 2025 -- Mandaluyong local time), XFM: Manila began limited but structured programming after weeks and months of radio stunting without signing-on or off spiels to start its broadcasting activities. Debut by adding fresh radio news reporters and anchors in the morning like "XPress Balita" with 'Jupiter Torres', and "Bullseye" with 'Buddy Oberas' and 'Deo de Guzman'.

These radio programmes are all local in some markets such as Bacolod and Cebu, except "XFM News Nationwide" after Gilbert Basio, Aizy Pacaldo and Pedy Bautista-Sabando aired the final newscast production of 104.7mhz's XFM: Palawan and are being taken over to its flagship Mega Manila radio station starting July 3rd.

Also, if you notice on 'XFM Philippines' mobile app under radio directory provider 'AMFMPH', the Manila station pops up, but was offline nationwide and worldwide as of right now. While if you're on 'ManilaSDR' via web multi-user software defined radio receiver under 'OpenWebRX', you can legally listen to XFM: Manila worldwide on 99.5mhz in the FM band. Overall, there is no audio streaming and on Facebook LIVE for TeleRadyo-style experience similar to DZMM on television for the listeners abroad, except the SDR receiver option, better than nothing for listeners abroad when flying to Mega Manila is also not an option.

An expected grand launching of 'XFM: Manila' to take place beyond early 2026 or later, once transmitter upgrades are completed and the final on-air talent contracts are completely signed by 'Dr. Remelito Uy'. There are speculations that the phased roll out may extend to early 2026 when Y2HBC has completed its KaTropa network strategy and has more resources to work on a stronger national presence.

With Play FM concluding its 49-year journey as 99.5, the frequency has been rejuvenated, transforming into a news, public affairs, lifestyle, and music station under the KaTropa brand of Yes2Health Broadcasting Corporation (Y2HBC) for XFM Philippines. This transition ushers in a new era of community-focused news, public affairs and wellness programming for Metro Manila's airwaves.

CONSUMER ALERT EXCLUSIVE: Singlife Philippines' Pay and Protect in Debit Card production screeched to a halt in late delivery and activation concerns [#OneNETnewsInvestigates]

TAGUIG, NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION -- The partnership between mobile-first life insurance company 'Singlife', banking institution 'UnionBank', and global payment processor VISA is set to end its debit card production. The Singlife-branded debit card, which combined payment functionality with an insurance feature dubbed 'Pay and Protect,' will cease operations on Tuesday (July 1st, 2025 -- Taguig local time). This decision comes as the company instructs users to transfer funds from their 'Singlife Wallet' to their primary 'Singlife Credits Account' on or before July 31st. Cash-in services from e-wallets and online banking to the Singlife Philippines mobile application on iOS and Android will remain unaffected.

Months before Singlife Philippines' upcoming 5th anniversary, and ahead of the 'Singlife Wallet' in-app feature closure, a free-of-charge VISA debit card was ordered on Thursday afternoon (May 29th). The card, which normally carries a fee of PHP300 Philippine pesos (or U$D5.40), was delayed in provincial shipping from 'Taguig City, National Capital Region' to 'Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental', arriving well after its expected delivery date on Tuesday (June 17th) and arrived so much late on Thursday afternoon (June 26th).

When purchasing and card checking the first time upon arrival, but was turned out to be an outdated mobile number linked to the account and quietly closed its debit card service. During our financial investigation, newspaper outlet 'The Brighton Bugle' and 'OneNETnews' reached out in person to a local UnionBank branch in Dumaguete City with the associated UnionBank EON bank account number provided by Singlife Philippines. Surprisingly, bank representatives reported having no record of the account. Subsequent attempts by local tellers to correspond with Singlife's main office in Taguig via e-mail correspondence when changing mobile numbers like DITO Telecommunity also proved unfruitful.

'Pay and Protect' feature was introduced in late-September 2024, enabling Filipino users to pay monthly premiums or buy new policies via the mobile app and receive rebates on purchases with no minimum spend required. The service, which was developed during the global Coronavirus Disease-19 (CoViD-19) pandemic from China, is now seen by some as a total absolute flop, leaving cardholders with a sense of being scammed.

This development poses grave concerns to the Philippine authorities in terms of finance, payment, and regulation. Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), the regulator of banks and payment systems and the Insurance Commission (IC), the main regulatory body of the country with respect to insurance, also need to consider issues of abrupt termination of a financial service and insurance policy and the possibility of the inability to ensure smooth flow between partner organizations. It is a lapse in consumer protection as, in our case, it left users with a product lacking functionality and unable to offset the problems related to the account at the bank of a partnering company. Regulatory bodies must ensure that fintech products meet a high standard of transparency, stability and the right customer service.

To summarize, the debit card service of 'Pay and Protect' by Singlife, UnionBank and VISA has been a failed experiment of the fintech industry in the country. Although the company has assured that the cash-in services will not be impacted by this move, the debit card, along with its wallet aspect, proves to be a cautionary tale.

The safety and sustainability of new financial products and services must be well-monitored by the consumers, and the regulatory agencies should increase surveillance to ensure that the same problems do not occur again in the future. For now, we keep an eye on the situation as far as the interested consumers go and whether there would be a formal reaction from the concerned parties.

BAIS, NEGROS ORIENTAL -- In the mid-Q2 2025, a foreign radio hobbyist and social male content reactor used the non-profit digital indie research platform 'Radio Garden' to scan AM, FM and Internet Radio broadcasts worldwide, including here in Negros Island Region (NIR). When tuning in, the listener only picked up stations serving southeastern Negros Oriental. During a LIVE aircheck, the hobbyist heard Shaira Abdullah Alimudin's "Selos" segue into an ad-libbed promo for local pharmaceutical wholesaler 'Sistine Pharmacy and Distributors' (SPD), which is owned and managed by 'Christine Ann Crusio Posadas', as well with 'Bais Public Market' (BPM).

The host then identified the commercial local radio station as DYBI-FM 105.5mhz's Radyo Natin: Bais under 'MBC Media Group' (formerly 'Manila Broadcasting Company'). In a video clip posted on social media, however, the listener did not seem to understand the Cebuano dialect well, so they made things garbled during the radio broadcast.

Baisanon residents confirm that the said FM local radio station always puts up local announcements, greetings, shoutouts and advertisements in Cebuano and Tagalog. As part of our investigative scoop, SPD had not replied to our request for comment, and regional officials of 'MBC Media Group' had yet to clarify the station's current programming and language mix.

This new narrative speaks to the expanded popularity of online radio research and the role that local-language proficiency plays when covering local broadcasts over free radio and on the Internet for kababayans worldwide. Cartoon Network News will keep on pursuing new information as the case investigations progresses on whoever identifies this man in the highlighed video clip.

BALITANG REHIYONAL: Ex-Convict shot dead while playing at a local computer shop in Cebu City

CEBU CITY, CEBU -- 46 y/o driver victim and former drug convictee named 'Ricardo Igot' was shot and killed while playing a game at a coin-inserted internet cafe on Tuesday early morning (July 15th, 2025 at 4:15am -- Cebu local time) in 'General Genes Street, Barangay Suba, Cebu City'. Local media reporters say, Igot was playing a "scatter" game from either licensed or unlicensed online casino when the unidentified gunman approached to him, firing three (3) times at close range from his pistol weapon, striking him in the head and shoulder.

The 24 y/o son said that his father had been arrested in the past because of doing drugs but that he had allegedly ceased his illegal activities since he was bailed in 2023. Initial reports indicate that the murder was connected to a massive drug debt Igot owed his dealer following the resumption of his drug peddling activities after post-bail. The family knew not of any enemies that their father had, but remembered that the night before Igot had heard one say to him in Cebuano dialect "hutdon ta mo".

'Bombo Radyo Cebu' obtained the story from the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) as one suspect named 'Jaymark Arnais', a local resident of the said barangay, who was wearing a motorcycle helmet gunned down after the shootout with police officers during the gunfight. Meanwhile, the internet café staff and the victim's son rushed him by e-bike to Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC), but doctors declared him dead on arrival.

#OnlyOnOneNETnews: VShojo Implodes - Charity Fraud Allegations and Mass Talent Exodus trigger agency shutdown in California

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA -- VShojo, the San Francisco–based talent agency known for managing some of the most popular Virtual YouTubers (VTubers), is scrambling to contain what insiders describe as "total damage control". Sources say the company plans to shut down its entire VTuber division, effectively as early as next week.

The crisis erupted when Ironmouse, a Puerto Rican-American VTuber and co-founder of VShojo announced her departure, accusing the agency of mismanaging over U$D500,000 in charitable donations raised for the 'Immune Deficiency Foundation' (IDF). She stated, in a video statement on YouTube (Google's parent company 'Alphabet'), that VShojo illegally kept the money meant to be donated to her charity cyclethon, travel funds and personal income. Less than a few hours after her announcement, Ironmouse deleted her profile on the VShojo website and clarified that she is taking legal actions from their respective attorneys.

Almost immediately, the agency's talent lineup began to unravel. On the English side: 'AmaLee', 'Apricot', 'Haruka', 'Hime Hajime', 'Kuro Kurenai', 'Michi Mochievee' and 'Projekt Melody' have all scrubbed VShojo branding from their social channels and declared plans to go fully independent. In Japan: 'Henya the Genius', 'Hestia Happiness', 'Hotaru Akatsuki', 'Kson', 'Nagi Okamoto' and 'Peke Yutori' have followed suit. Even members of the "VShojo Nova" sub-group namingly 'Hestia', 'Hotaru', 'Nagi' and 'Peke' are cutting ties and stepping into indie careers.

The agency's official store was taken offline this week, and its social feeds have fallen eerily radio silent.
