Jul 20, 2023   A lot has been happening at Salman Khan’s end over the last few months as the actor is on the verge of locking his future projects. There has been a lot of chatter on social media about what is next for him after the Diwali 2023 release, Tiger 3. While his immediate next is not locked on paper yet, Pinkvilla has exclusively learnt that the reunion with Sooraj Barjatya will happen in 2024. “Salman Khanand Sooraj Barjatya are definitely doing a film together. but it will kick off next year. Sooraj will invest all his energies on the script once his son, Avnish’s debut, Dono, hits the big screen,” revealed a source close to the development.

According to the source, Salman had kept his window from October to March vacant for multiple filmmakers. “Salman had asked several filmmakers to come to him with a bound script. His list of directors had Sooraj Barjatya working on Prem Ki Shaadi, Sajid Nadiadwala on Kick 2, and Karan Johar with Vishnu Vardhan’s next.

 While Sooraj has already conveyed the delay in proceeding to the second half of 2024, Sajid’s film is far off from getting on floors anytime in the coming two years,” the source close to the actor added.Karan Johar and Vishnu Vardhan’s next is in the front runner to be Salman’s next after Tiger 3, though it’s yet not on paper. “Salman, Karan, and Vishnu have been meeting every week, and things are moving in the right direction. Hopefully, the project will be locked by early August and get into production by November this year,” the source added. Sooraj Barjatya’s next is titled Prem Ki Shaadi and the filmmaker is aiming to take it on floors by the end of 2024.

“It’s an ambitious family drama that presents the mature side of Salman Khan. While the core plot is already locked, Sooraj Barjatya will get into the development of the screenplay in October once Dono hits the big screen. He will take around 4 to 5 months to complete the screenplay and then another 4 months of pre-productions. He is planning to shoot the film with Salman over a period of 100 to 120 days. It will take off once Salman Khan wraps up shooting for Tiger vs Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan. The Siddharth Anand directorial takes off by March/April 2024 and will be shot till the end of the year,” the source concluded.Before the Sooraj Barjatya film, Salman will finish two films, one of which will be Tiger vs Pathaan and the other is expected to be director Vishnu Vardhan’s next. Legends League Cricket 2022 – Teams, Squad, Live Streaming

The organizers of the Legends League Cricket 2022 T20 tournament have announced the schedule for the season and also named the venues where the matches will be played. The entire tournament will be played from September 16 to October 8, 2022.

The tournament will begin with a special match at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata between the India Maharajas and the World Giants. The Indian team will be led by BCCI President Sourav Ganguly and the world team will be captained by Eoin Morgan. This match will be played to commemorate the 75th Year of Indian Independence.

Apart from Kolkata, which will host 3 matches in total from the 16th to the 18th of September, the other venues for the Legends League Cricket 2022 are New Delhi, Cuttack, Lucknow, and Jodhpur. The venues for the playoffs and the final will be announced later.

Director Siddharth Anand to begin Tiger vs Pathaan’s pre-production in October; filming to kick off in February with SRK-Salman’s confrontation scene

Zealous fans are not alone as they eagerly wait to see Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan together in Tiger vs Pathaan. Producer Aditya Chopra is equally excited about taking the YRF spy universe forward with what is being touted as Yash Raj Films’ most ambitious project to date. Chopra and director Siddharth Anand are planning to begin pre-production on the espionage thriller in October, and take it on floors between January and February 2024.

Expectations are bound to be sky-high when you have Shah Rukh and Salman joining forces. Knowing the film’s high stakes, Chopra has been personally involved in writing it with Sridhar Raghavan. The source adds, “The story outline had been cracked a while ago. After the script is locked, the two superstars will be called for a joint narration.” The producer-director duo want to shoot most of the combination scenes in the first schedule. “If things go as planned, the shoot will go on from February till May, with parts of it being shot at huge sets across studios in Mumbai. Siddharth apparently plans to kick off the shoot with a dramatic confrontation scene between Shah Rukh’s Pathaan and Salman’s Tiger, which will capture the film’s essence. The two superstars have already given bulk dates for the first leg.”

Tiger vs Pathaan will mark the reunion of the superstar friends, who have previously featured together in Karan Arjun (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) and Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam (2002). Their off-screen camaraderie reflected on screen as Salman made a cameo in Shah Rukh’s Pathaan earlier this year, which became the film’s biggest highlight.

The multi-starrers are back in the fashion, with multiple universes in the making. The era of multi-starrers has also got the concept of hero vs villain back. Be it John Abraham playing a dreaded gangster against Emraan Hashmi in the soon to release Mumbai Saga, or the actor playing a tech savvy, street smart character of gun mafia in the Siddharth Anand directed Pathan, pitted against Shah Rukh Khanand Deepika Padukone

It extends further to Emraan Hashmi playing an out and out grey character engaging in the fight of ideology with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaifin Tiger 3 or finally, the yet to be announced Vikram Vedha remake, which is said to be a fight between Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan.
