Later revised and annotated for Transformers: The Lost Seasons

wada sez: The first of three strips written to bring a Transformers Animated character into Sunbow continuity; I've bumped up the other two, which were originally posted not long after, for a better reading experience. Bulkhead’s group here has a mixture of origins, as explained in the comments on deviantART, but includes a couple of Diaclone bots, who were slightly redesigned by Galley for the sake of variety. The blue bot is actually a Brazilian character, Camaro, who was renamed "Sprint" after Windcharger's preliminary name. In the final panel, the bots present are the main cast of Animated, and to cement the homage Ratchet is seen fixing his forehead chevron, a cheeky reference inserted by Choquecota. Bulkhead’s original design was done by Choquecota, and Osorio wrote the whole story based on it; later, Osorio would create a separate character model for Bulkhead along similar lines for The Lost Seasons, which was widely shared online and seems very likely to have inspired the later official release of the G1-style Legacy Bulkhead. See below for all of this relevant artwork.

Yes. That revelation pales however next to the shock of the horrendous colors sported by Rumble and Frenzy in that universe. I'm not sure that any human language has a term for them.

Year of the Tiger, baby! Featuring my take on an RiD15 Tigertrack and Stripes.

Tigertrack, like his toy, is a recolor of Sideswipe, but to include more animal themed Autobots, his head is retooled from Scratch and Razorpaw. I guess technically RiD Tigertrack could’ve just been Scratch and Razorpaw’s model, but I wanted to keep the Sideswipe connection.

Stripes is a recolor and retool of Buzzsaw Mini-Con Sawback.

Transformers: Mosaic #12 - "Compromise"

wada sez: Photocomics were rare as part of the Mosaic project; I’m glad to see that the deviantART commenters were surprisingly complimentary towards this one on the whole! I love the little toy soldiers in this one. Cappellozza has used something like Photoshop’s “posterize” effect to reduce the colour depth of the photos, as a faux-illustration affectation. The stars of this comic are all Takara-exclusive characters, using Diaclone colourations of the molds that went on to become Tracks, Skids, and Sideswipe; over the years, almost all the Diaclone colour schemes have been given independent identities. Crosscut and Road Rage are depicted as diplomat and bodyguard respectively, in keeping with their original profiles; they were originally sold as an e-HOBBY exclusive two-pack. Tigertrack, meanwhile, was a magazine mail-away made available about a year later; he doesn’t get much of a showing here.

yesss please watch king of the hill. its not edgy humor like most adult cartoons out there. its actually funny, and pretty wholesome at times. if anything its good background noise

Yeah, I guess for a while there I'd put it in the same basket as shit like Family Guy for whatever reason but from what I've seen posted here it doesn't seem like that's the case. I'll add it to the list =D
