He was exhausted. Haggared and sore in places even he didn't know he could be sore in and in desperate need of a nap. How Nami had even managed to navigate with the fever she had was beyond him. She, Sanji, and Usopp were all sick. Luffy seemed immune and he'd someone managed to not catch it.

What they needed was food and medicine.

Spotting a bakery he pushed his way through the door, gaze flicking around the warm interior for a moment before he moved up to the counter. "Whatever fresh bread you have." Glancing at the girl behind the counter he then added. "And where do you get medicine here?"

IT’S EERIE, this awareness. To become no more than part of a script, a show put on to entertain the eyes of others ( strangers ) — chances are the hungry eyes set on his back are hardly aimed at him, though. Nothing about being in and out of the sea makes him worthy of noticing; and so he’s been whispering but not for his own sake.

“ Could you be more obvious? ” He presses, downs his drink, leans in & closer — shoulders brush, one hand rests on the back of her chair as he makes a spectacle of said whispers; nearly shielding her figure. — “don’t make a fuss of it, don’t turn to look at them;” he instructs first, eyes locking with hers for a little over a heartbeat. To allow those words to sink in is enough time for him to order one more round, mouthing " we’re being watched " back at her.

they have absolutely no idea why, but they're not going to ask. if they force logic into a situation where there really is none, (to like things about nadine is to be illogical, obviously), then maybe remi will start to realize how much she's wasting her time, or something. nadine takes her hand, pressing a kiss to each finger.

Given how clingy his daughter can be because of how her mother abandoned her. He related to her in that aspect. He did not like leaving Sam with someone, but, sometimes he needed a break. He was juggling the responsibilities of raising her, working, and going to college. It would just be for one night. He trusted Remilia enough to watch Sam. Of course, he had to introduce the two of them first before doing so. Sam would not react well to being left with a stranger. Sam hopefully got comfortable enough with Remilia to not cause too much of a fuss when he left her with her. Besides throwing a fit over being left with someone other than her father, Sam was a little troublemaker, so, there was that as well.

he doesn't expect to receive anything but it puts a soft smile onto his lips, looking down at the pretty white daisy and holding onto it carefully. ❛ thank you so much, i'll try and take care of it. ❜ there's a happiness in his voice, clearly he enjoys this very much. he'd do everything he could to make sure the daisy wouldn't immediately die, even though he knew sometimes his departures from his home would be quite long.

ㅤㅤ1: does your muse enjoy watching the stars? ㅤㅤyes! he actually really enjoys stargazing and it's one of the things he misses from home. ketterdam's fog and general smoke and air pollution makes it hard for them to see any of the stars they remember back from home, but they adoreeee stargazing. it's one of their favorite things to do back in novyi zem, and will take friends out in fields where they know the view is the best. aditi also told her a bunch of stories relating to the constellations that helped her a) remember them and b) remember where to find them!

ㅤㅤ15: if your muse had the option, would they prefer to go to space or explore the ocean? ㅤㅤso the. funny thing about this is that jesper hates the unknown. GBHWBHGDFH like he can do shallow oceans and whatnot, but he hates not knowing what's underneath his feet because it makes him antsy and feel like something's about to come up and get him. i think space would give him a similar sensation, but at least it's more fun for him, so he'll settle with space.

It would be so, so easy to kill her. Unless, she knew of a way to get herself out of this, he does not think she will get far. Is there a gun she is hiding on her person? He sure hopes she aims for the head. After finding out how Mickey Al.tieri was taken out, he has decided to wear a bulletproof vest.

"A final girl is someone who survives." The voice changer masks his voice. Though, he does not see the point in using it if she knows it is him. He points his knife towards her.
