Helbindi really is such a standout character. I didn't think it get sad for a fictional man's little sister who's never even been on screen

Helbindi was PEAK likable villain for this game! He’s a sweetheart who had no choice but to fight to protect his family and he STILL gets fucked over. It makes ya wanna cry.

I also loved the fact that he wasn’t just another pretty boy. Not that they’re bad mind you but I gotta love me some variety.

I'm curious, I've been looking for a new place to post art and try to reinvigorate my drawing drive. Tumblr obviously ain't gonna cut it, absolutely not Twitter, I left deviantart behind on purpose. So I'm wondering what you think of pillowfort? I know next to nothing about it, just see the name get thrown around

Its not too bad! I’m still getting used to it after fully transitioning to Twitter, but it seems like its getting some good traction!

sure sure, but there’s no way to answer this without spoilers so read on at your own risk:

golden deer: lysithea (cavalry mage) skills wise she’d ideally be a player phase nuke. cavalry because horse emblem and im biased as all hell. she’d end up being a red mage because of how dark magic is classified.

black eagles: bernandetta (bow knight) probably some kind of solo skills to reflect the fact that she’s a shy little bean, she doesn’t have to have anything too special since i wouldnt mind investing on building her up.

blue lions: annette (general/axe armor knight) now this one is a stretch but we’re talking about -my- ideal banner and in my ideal banner annette is smol, swol, and ready to brawl as an armor knight. id like her res to be high to reflect the fact that she can be a magic user, but i wouldnt mind if she was 100% enemy phase with low speed and high defenses.

church: rhea/seiros (melee sword) im not a big fan of her crazy dragon form so i’ll go with the seiros look she rocks in the black eagles route. skills wise i’d like to see her as a high res melee unit who can make good use of built-in DC. having the seiros shield in there somewhere with its built in renewal would also be nice.

As for naming, I ran with the part where the “pika” in Pikachu’s name is a Japanese onomatopoeia for sparkling. So I changed it to “kon”, which is an onomatopoeia for knocking.

The new units have actually already been "added" to the game if you take a look at the hero catalog, they were datamined in the last game update, and we know they're bonus units on the next new arena season.

You get the privilege and responsibility to write a remake of any of the FE games prior to Awakening, including free reign to make changes to any and everything you feel needs it. Which do you pick and what kinda changes would you make?

Oh that’s a tough one. 

I think, I would have to go with Blazing Blade and just add like, way more dialogue between the characters. I really loved the dynamic in that game but ofc being in the gba era means less interaction. Also i would change the fact that not one but 2 beloved characters die offscreen, although i guess Lyn disappears because she wasn’t even planned in Binding Blade. 

I don’t know if I’d change anything gameplay wise because I’m not good with game mechanics lmao. I would keep the pixel art style because I think it’s hella good.

Also everyone is 20+ and not 14-16 because Come On.

Yes hello me again that is a GORGEOUS Brighid?! Like she was hands down one of my favorite characters but her outfit threw me off so much every time. This is stunning, and I love that you still retained the like, flowing elegant quality to the whole ensemble.

Thank you so much TwT! I love Brighid’s general flowy dress, so I didn’t want to change much about it. Same with her color palette. I really like all the blue and purple, especially for a fire blade, as this isn’t such an usual thing! I also didn’t want to change much about her hair (while I changed so many hairstyles of the others lmao), but only made it a bit longer, to help with the whole flow-y concept qwq

Are you expecting much from the story in Book 3? We all know the plot of the game is somewhat lackluster, that's no secret, but I think it can be safely said they did some stepping up in Book 2. If they continue an upward trend, I think Book 3 might actually be pretty fun to anticipate new chapters to

not really, i think its better to keep expectations low and be pleasantly surprised if they do step it up. as book II showed, growing attached to the characters does nothing but make you more tempted to roll for them when their banner does eventually come around.

i prefer taking a back seat and seeing how everything unfolds rather than letting myself get fully invested in the storyline as a whole. its just hard for heroes to live up to the main series games in terms of story. i do salute their efforts though.
