Some HK gijinka doodles from the last month :) some thoughts about it under the cut

The vessels (Hollow and Ghost) have more of a mannequin-like body, made of both void and flesh

Godlike beings and the ones who are more beastly show more bug-like traits than their peers

I'm probs gonna tweak their designs more in the future but I like what I got so far :>

Poem about this ask, thanks for your suggestion! Also, I lied! This is my last poem of October. I saw this ask and I had an urge to do it. So here's your Halloween treat. No tricks here. Anyway, I overlooked these characters a lot since they either get on my nerves or they just die. Some of these characters actually have interesting lore once you look deep into it. Music in Hallownest is everything

Aghhh I couldn’t wait to share these doodles, look at the bugs playing instruments!!! Again!!! I absolutely adore to draw them playing an instrument, plus it helps me improve on drawing stupid hands lol

Ok so we have PK playing a pipe organ (that is stored in a big ass room cuz that organ is big asf), Cloth playing the ukelele and Tiso playing drums, Quirrel playing the flute, PV playing the piano and Dryya playing the cello!

While I was daydreaming I thought of Hornet admiring Dryya’s ability with the Cello and her asking her mother to buy a Cello for her. Herrah probably agreed but didn’t let her play cuz the Cello is a big instrument, but she did let Dryya teach hornet how to play the Cello. I should probably save that with the many notes I have about hk lol-

Some Hollow Knight art. I'm currently stuck on Hornet Sentinel but it's been fun so far even though I do have a mild fear of bugs. Haven't gone to Deepnest yet though so that might change

I still remember when I beat the Watcher Knights on New Years Eve about two years ago while waiting for it to hit midnight after being stuck on it for several months. Good times lol

I WOULD LIKE TO REMIND THAT NOT EVERYTHING I SAY THAT HAPPENS IN THIS AU HAPPENS IN HOLLOW KNIGHT.

a lot of what ive done has been keeping characters alive when they otherwise would have disappeared or died. so many characters in this game are ghosts of the past that are barely holding on, and when they ARE holding on, theyre holding on due to grief. you can save some of them. you just have to let others go. some of them don’t live with the trauma of the death of the kingdom and theyre simply living their lives.

not all of what happens in this au happens in hollow knight because ive given them greater purpose. they have more of a reason to stick around. but there are characters that you will love and you will care about that will not make it to the end
