There is nothing funnier than writing the interactions Agent John Bishop would have with Big Mama. He would absolutely hate her. They are sitting together having a very polite tea because Bishop needs info from her but he’s seething the whole time. She calls him Johnny-boo and he is just straight faced trying to blow her up with his mind.

Finally, I got motivated to finish this comic idea.

I always wanted to showcase Suki’s origins in art aside from just saying “Leo found her as an infant in foot clan on a mission”.

Granted the TCRI tie was made only like maybe 6 months ago? As well as Bishop’s part. Glad I only got the motivation now. Original sketch was more action but also way more confusing due to the memory switch up. Plus the Jr thing was only this month 😭 but it FITS.

About Rise/2003 Bishop

OKOK! Hear me out:

This soldier in 1815 is about to die in the Battle of New Orleans. He's been through hell and back and he's seen the arguably ugliest face of mankind.

But then, instead of dying like the other common Joes, he gets some more trauma by being faced with actual alien organisms and is genetically modified.

And instead of focusing on the fact that all his people have been killed by a HUMAN WAR, he swears on protecting mankind from whatever threat has modified him to SURVIVE IT.

This man is so nuts, allergic people can't touch him.

And he is so genius about his craze:

Take the way he coordinates the pawn agents! The way he uses the war for himself, makes deals, manipulates and backstabs in order to get what he wants.

DO you realize just how many of the stakes are caused by Bishop behind the scenes?! The first time he meets the turtles, they keep asking who he is in panic, and finally he introduces himself like this:

"Very well, Michelangelo. When you beg me to make it stop. When you scream my name: You may call me Bishop."

He acknowledges all of them by their names before introducing himself! Not because of respect, but because he likes to show that he knows more about them, than they do about him.

Bishop assumes control of any given situation he enters, by language alone.

He so very obviously takes joy in destroying non-human beings.

But he prioritizes his research. He uses Splinters DNA to create an ARMY OF SUPER SOLDIERS to protect his people.

*cough*- Draxum -*cough*

Both Draxum and Bishop are ruthless scientists and masters of combat/warefare.

Though, here are the main differences in Bishop:

Bishop takes active joy in breaking his subjects mentally and performing dissections without anesthesia.

He is shown to be way more manipulative and prevers to work with the backing of the government.

While he does participate in research and field work, he heavily relies on other scientists/pawns to work for him.

WOW OKAY!! This kinda gotta away from me cuz I wanted to TRY doing two (technically 3) scenes. THIS FIC, MAN!! It's got Mikey angst and hurt/comfort! It's got Bishop being an absolute bastard, and I wanna punt him to the moon and back!! It's got Mikey & Leatherhead becoming Besties!!! I read it right after watching the Rise Movie and OHHHH boy, it is GOOD!!!!

Concepts for Bishop and Leatherhead! Did not draw Bishop much at all, lol. Will probably use the ref for future stuff, though! Also, I took forever finishing these cuz LH's design started becoming Bleh to me, but I had to commit cuz I was most of the way through the naming scene. Will likely tweak the design later!

I love Bishop so much one of my favourite TMNT characters ever he’s a secret agent in a suit that creates clones of himself that has never lost a fight he’s a bitch he keeps aliens in jars on his wall like a little freak he’s untouchable he’s a poor little meow meow he gaslights the president he is the president he’s been alive for centuries he wears silly little sunglasses all the time he was responsible for the Roswell incident he’s so painfully human that he’s unrecognisable as one he never changes he’s always changing he’s committed unforgivable atrocities he personally created galactic peace he has a boyfriend he tried to dissect Mikey he’s a catboy with feminine hips

Editing the foot clan interactions is always my favorite part. I can hear Bebop and Rocksteady in my head. I can hear the exact line delivery. It’s so funny.

and donnie is like "UH OBVIOUSLY I KNEW TORTURE WAS BAD ARE YOU STUPID. TORTURE IS ALWAYS FUCKING BAD."

and krang is like "wait i thought u thought it was ok to torture me cuz im a shit head"
