1949 Harley-Davidson FL originates from the collection of well-known motorcycle road-racer and team-owner Jon Couch. Not only did Couch race motorcycles for his well-known TOBC Racing team, he also owned Rand Construction Corporation to fund his many passions. Couch once restored a yacht known as Chanticleer that was owned by Hollywood film and radio star Frances Langford Evinrude. He also enjoyed piloting a 1954 T-28C airplane and flying his mother, Frances, to the motorcycle races. In 2014, Couch was at Virginia International Raceway for a race, when he attempted a barrel roll in his plane. The plane struck a group of trees and Couch and his mother were tragically killed in the crash. The man left a legacy of business success and a passion for motorcycles behind, one of those motorcycles being the Harley-Davidson FL featured here. The FL model “Panhead” was introduced in 1948. The major improvement for the 1949 model year was the introduction of the "Hydra-Glide" front end, which replaced the leading-link fork design. This telescopic design provided greater suspension travel and a higher level of riding comfort. The rear “hard tail” suspension was kept for a few more years. Engine options for 1949 remained at 61 CI for the EL model and 74 CI for the FL version. The 1949 FL also incorporated a larger front brake for much improved braking. The foot clutch and hand shift was also carried over for the 1949 FL series. Showing a mere 193 miles since the restoration, this FL was showcased on “Chasing Classic Cars” with Wayne Carini while handling a Dream Collection Estate Sale

i have cysts in my hands, between my wrist and finger bones. they cause me some pain occasionally that flares up. my hands sometimes feel numb. my mom likes to say its because i play too many video games but im pretty sure everyone else i know would have them too and they dont. i read they can occur from multiple minor to major hand trauma, which is something that i have experienced. i briefly brought it up to my dr and she brushed me off about causes, said i should consider surgery. thoughts?
hmmm i have cysts in the same place, though i dont know the cause. ulimately the cause doesnt matter. these will show up on umm...some sort of scan, it was so long ago i forgot... but you wouldnt be able to get treatment without the scan anyway. surgery is not the only option though! while surgery is more perminent, they can be drained in an office, often pain free (didnt work for me but thats a looooong story) and that will reduce pain and irritation for quite some time! it varies from person to person how long before they come back when drained, but it’s a lot safer and easier than surgery. hell, if they are close to the surface or easy to locate, a hand/wrist doctor might be able to drain it on your first visit!

VG (Very good – „nagyon jó”) Keveset használt lemez, felületi karcok lehetnek rajta; kis mértékű, ám a lejátszást érdemben nem zavaró sercegés előfordulhat. A borítón fellelhető árcédula, vagy annak nyoma, illetve lemez-okozta kisebb mértékű körkopás is lehetséges.
G (Good – „jó”) Erősen használt lemez, zavaró sercegés hallható, de a lemez végigjátszható. A borítón nagyobb felületi kopás, gyűrődés, élén pedig szakadás található.
F (Fair – „tűrhető”) Rossz állapotú lemez, erős sercegés, a tű néhol ugrik. A borító szakadt, foltos vagy gyűrött.
P (Poor – „gyenge”) Lejátszhatatlan, mélyen karcos vagy hullámos lemez, a borító erősen sérült vagy hiányos.
B (Bad – „rossz”)
W (Worn – „megviselt”)

2022 Daytona 200 Results - Cycle News
2022 Daytona 200 Results – Cycle News
TOBC Racing’s Brandon Paasch executed his Daytona 200 plan to perfection, loitering around at the back of a four-rider pack until the time was right to pull the trigger on his Triumph Speed Triple RS. As it turns out, the 20-year-old had just the right amount of ammo at his disposal. He exited the chicane in fourth place, went down low on the banking, and started making moves until delivering the…

Vinyl marks
Condition:
Mint (M)
Absolutely perfect in every way. Certainly never been played, possibly even still sealed. Should be used sparingly as a grade, if at all.
Near Mint (NM or M-)
A nearly perfect record. A NM- record has more than likely never been played, and the vinyl will play perfectly, with no imperfections during playback. Many dealers won't give a grade higher than this implying (perhaps correctly) that no record is ever truly perfect. The record should show no obvious signs of wear. A 45 RPM or EP sleeve should have no more than the most minor defects, such as any sign of slight handling. An LP cover should have no creases, folds, seam splits, cut-out holes, or other noticeable similar defects. The same should be true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves, etc.
Very Good Plus (VG+)
Generally worth 50% of the Near Mint value. A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Defects should be more of a cosmetic nature, not affecting the actual playback as a whole. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are "OK". The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. Spindle marks may be present. Picture sleeves and inner sleeves will have some slight wear, slightly turned-up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear, and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation, or cut corner. In general, if not for a couple of minor things wrong with it, this would be Near Mint.
Very Good (VG)
Generally worth 25% of Near Mint value. Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time. Goldmine price guides with more than one price will list Very Good as the lowest price.
Good (G), Good Plus (G+)
Generally worth 10-15% of the Near Mint value. A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be played through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear. A cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear, or other defects will be present. While the record will be playable without skipping, noticeable surface noise and "ticks" will almost certainly accompany the playback.
Poor (P), Fair (F)
Generally worth 0-5% of the Near Mint price. The record is cracked, badly warped, and won't play through without skipping or repeating. The picture sleeve is water damaged, split on all three seams and heavily marred by wear and writing. The LP cover barely keeps the LP inside it. Inner sleeves are fully split, crinkled, and written upon.
