probably couldve been diagnosed w hEDS a lot younger than twenty-fucking-eight if the foot doctor i went to in like middle/high school or my regular doctor had considered the possibility that the weak ligaments in my feet/ankles might be due to a connective tissue disorder that affects my whole fucking body instead of just being a localized thing

#like. the signs were there. oh my god were they there & we all brushed them off #like i get it!! ur a specialized doctor this is what u focus on but surely u should know some CAUSES of these things???#''oh u just have weak ligaments in ur feet/ankles'' YEAH AND ALSO EVERYWHERE ELSE APPARENTLY #or like u know ud think maybe going back to my dr & being like ''yeah so this is what he said'' wouldve prompted some more questions #instead of just ''oh ok well good luck with that''#I THOUGHT I WAS JUST FLEXIBLE BC I DID GYMNASTICS. NO.
