Southern Georgia ⛔️ Graphic photo GOR was contacted about a very young kitten found in great physical distress by a concerned citizen. His gums are pale, his membranes are dry, and his rectum is filled with maggots. We know that maggots feed on dead tissue, so this is a very ominous sign. A GOR member immediately picked up this suffering kitten and brought him straight to our emergency vet. This is one of four animals taken in by our regional director today.
