With a trio of extraordinary looks, Rebecca Ferguson is emerging as Scandinavia's reigning red carpet hero
While Margot Robbie’s Barbie press tour fashion moments have dominated our feed for what seems like an eternity, another notably less pink blockbuster film tour also serves unmissable looks. We’re talking about that of Rebecca Ferguson, who’s been travelling the globe promoting Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. Donning dramatic and sculptural gowns, the Swedish actress is emerging as a bona fide red carpet hero.
Working with Ferguson to bring these looks to life is Belgian stylist Tom Eerebout. “Rebecca is someone who loves to play with fashion and try things out. She is never afraid to have fun, which is so nice to have in a client,” he says. “Every fitting is fun. She thinks about everything from hair to makeup to her manicure.” That attention to detail and willingness to experiment shines through in the actress’ trio of premiere looks.
Ferguson’s first major moment came via Emporio Armani. Set against the backdrop of Rome’s Spanish Steps, the floor-skimming black velvet gown from the house’s autumn/winter 2023 collection was the epitome of Hollywood glamour. Ferguson modernised the look with delicate yet sculptural jewellery from British jewellery house Shaun Leane, most notably his silver Quill Cuff. Effortless side-parted hair and a dark berry lip for a hint of extra drama completed the moment. As for wearing heavy velvet in the midst of an Italian summer? When you look this good, why not.
Next on Ferguson’s tour was something rather unexpected: a wedding dress. The actress wore a corseted gown from Vivienne Westwood’s 2023 bridal collection for the film’s London premiere. The pearls and draping, the undone centre parted bun, the glimmering barely-there makeup – goddess-level perfection. Eerebout was especially proud of how this look came together, noting, “The Westwood gown looked amazing on her, and the London energy is always special.”
Last but certainly not least, this glimmering strapless glittering couture number from Belgian label Maison Natan. With its structured bodice, cinched waist and exploding skirt, this could very well have been a straightforward Hollywood glamazon moment if it weren’t for that show-stopping Cristophe Coppens-designed necklace. Eerebout was not able to travel to New York and had to style the look “from afar”, but in the end, it came together, and he was “super pleased”. A slicked-back bun and subtle smokey eye was a non-distracting complement that let that neckpiece do its thing.
And with that Ferguson solidifies herself as a red carpet ruler who has the range. We’re a bit sad it’s over, but luckily we have the Dune: Part Two press tour to look forward to in a few months.

LADY GAGA ATTENDS THE 2023 OSCARS
After a long blackout season, Lady Gaga finally returned to the public eye at the 2023 Academy Awards held at the Los Angeles Dolby Theater.
Not only did she grace us with several looks, but also with a surprise performance of her “Top Gun: Maverick” movie title song “Hold My Hand”.
Styling by Sandra Amador and Tom Eerebout with assistance by Victor Cordero, Gianni Catalina and Venetia Kidd. The hair was done by Frederic Aspiras using Joico while glam was done by Sarah Tanno-Stewart using Haus Labs. Sweet and short manicure by Miho Okawara who used OPI.
Mother Monster made her entrance wearing one of the freshly debuted Versace Fall/Winter 2023 closing numbers seen on Gigi Hadid — a semi-transparent black tulle corseted bustier top with bullet bra, long wool-silk box pleat drop-waist skirt with frontal projected kick and silver Nastro Gianni Medusa 95 belt to perfectly reflect the Italian fashion label's house codes!
Her jewelry was provided by none other than Tiffany & Co. who chose some of the most stunning diamonds for her. Just like these $1,950 solitaire brilliant diamond stud earrings.
Shop:
Tiffany & Co. Solitaire Studs ($1,950.00)
It’s rare to see archival pieces on the red carpet—it happens occasionally but not as often as jewelry historians would hope. This 1960s necklace of platinum and diamonds definitely made sure to catch all the attention.
She also wore the house’s “Victoria” collection platinum and diamond cluster bracelet...
...and a whopping $20,800 platinum and diamond pavé band ring from the “Soleste” collection.

Tiffany & Co. Band Ring ($20,800.00)
To create the look, Tanno used products from Gaga's beauty brand, Haus Labs. She started with Color Fuse Blush.
"I used “Dragon Fruit Daze” first which served as the base, and then we layered with “Watermelon Bliss” to add depth,". For Gaga's red glossy lip, Tanno used Atomic Shake Lip Lacquer in shade “Cherry Shine”. "It was the first time I've used it on the red carpet — It deserved a moment!"
Tanno also reveals the reason why Gaga's skin wasn't flush after removing so much makeup before she got on stage, crediting the Triclone Skin Tech Foundation, which she wore on the carpet, for being very gentle and soothing on the skin.
"Because our foundation contains fermented arnica it calms and soothes the skin while you are wearing it — I believe this is why I didn't have to worry about any skin irritation after such a fast removal." Tanno explains.
For her raw performance of “Hold My Hand”, Gaga went for a bare face and a minimal outfit consisting of pieces we’ve seen her rock before in her off-duty hours.
She rocked her favorite Saint Laurent black skinny jeans with slashed knees she owns and loves since 2016! It was paired with a vintage band tee she turned inside out, which I have yet to ID.
The shoes are the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star classic low-top sneakers in black canvas.
There was actually a third outfit change that was not broadcasted on TV! LG wore a vintage Versace Spring/Summer 2002 black silk gown with lace insets and jet crystal embellishment. Above you can see a similar, shorter version.
She also added another Tiffany & Co. ring onto the mix. It’s the alternating ring in platinum and diamonds ($19,500) from the “Victoria” collection.

What celebrity-stylist relationship do you think needs to end and which stylist will you pair with them for a better change
In terms of which celebrity-stylist relationship needs to end, I’ve already answered a similar question here!
I’d send Addison Rae to Law (I got his vision for the MTV award), D’Amelio sisters to Maeve, Margot Robbie to Law or Elizabeth Stewart, Camilla Cabello to Kate Young (cause I think Kate’s style would compliment Camila’s aesthetic), Gigi and Megan Fox to Elizabeth Sulcer, Gal Gadot to Tom Eerebout & Sandra Amador or Petra Flannery, and Florence Pugh needs either Law or Samantha McMillen

FASHION CREDITS: JAZZ & PIANO SHOW 3.0
Lady Gaga finally returned to Vegas to continue the final 12 jazz & piano residency shows, and brought out an entire new setlist and costumes! Make sure to check out the other looks here and here.
The fashion was put together by Tom Eerebout and Sandra Amador with assistance by Kayla Manjarrez and Gianni Catalina.
The show also came with a handful of new visuals, including this one of LG enjoying a round of poker while wearing a dress Marilyn Monroe herself would approve.
The red sequined plunging stunner with halterneck, column skirt and flower belt detail is from Rodarte's Fall/Winter 2020 collection ($1,827).
In the same visual, she wears this absolutely divine plush black velvet column dress with deep nude illusion mesh panel and rows of pearl necklaces from Russian designer Kamilla Purshie’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection.
Let's get to the show! A label I've been eyeing for some time ever since being loved by the likes of Taylor Swift and Kelly Rowland is Taipei-based Nicole + Felicia who whipped out this fun beaded fringe mini dress for their Bridal Fall/Winter 2020 collection that any showgirl would love.
She topped it off with a new Arturo Rios Faux Grass white feather showgirl headpiece
Dita von Teese, if you please!
The Always Love You crystal-embellished silver hoop dangle earrings ($396) are made by Laruicci...

…while the Jimmy Choo metallic silver Anouk stiletto pumps provided the finishing touches.
Lady Gaga then devoured in this custom Prabal Gurung rose gold sunburst pleated silk lamé gown with hand-embroidered crystals and ostrich feather-trimmed cape.
Both her Hyperbola rhodium-plated hoop earrings with crystals in different cuts ($600)...
...and matching Hyperbola open cuff are created by Swarovski.

Swarovski "Hyperbola" Earrings ($600.00)
The look was perfectly accentuated with these Christian Louboutin So Kate pumps coated in pink satin!
This was one of the, if not THE look most of you have been flooding my message inbox about.
LG stunned the Vegas crowd (and us) wearing a custom couture Rose Blossom metallic plissé gown by recently-gone-viral designer Robert Wun, whose been part of her wardrobe since 2013!
The silver-tone mixed crystal flower linear drop earrings are by I.N.C. International Concepts exclusively sold at Macy's.
The perfect shoe to complete the red looks of the show are by Christian Louboutin, who created the super fun Hot Chick Psychic metallic red leather slingback pumps ($852).

Christian Louboutin "Hot Chick Psychic" Pumps ($852.00)
Another fun Robert Wun moment was this full look based on his Spring/Summer 2023 Haute Couture collection which went viral!
Signature peplum corset top in a bonded white satin, enhanced with silk taffeta ruching detail on the bust and lace-up back with matching large stole. Paired with a low-waist technical wool skirt with asymmetrical slit pleating details in anthracite.
Styled with a black & white 3D-printed headpiece with stripped coque feathers and long black gloves.
Hot, hotter, GAGA! Our girl twirled around the stage rocking a custom Garo Sparo fiery red showgirl beaded fringe bodysuit dress with hand-stoned crystal pattern and asymmetrical hem, inspired by old Bob Mackie pieces!
If you look closer, you can see that inbetween her fingers shines the Swarovski Hyperbola cocktail ring ($400).
Shop:
Swarovski "Hyperbola" Ring ($400.00)
Hell-o! Gaga brought out the best of Vegas' spirit appropriately decked out in the master of sexy dresswear: Zuhair Murad. And yes, this is the first time!
LG selected a sparkly fringe number fully embroidered in gold sequins and crystals of various sizes from the Lebanese designer's Fall/Winter 2022 Haute Couture collection, inspired by mystical arts, from Tarot and astrology to horoscopes and palmistry, to dispel the concerns of an unsettled age through the allure of their symbols.
She wore this augmented plummet shawl on stage, which was custom-made for her by Christian Cowan!
"Each ostrich feather plume was individually hand dyed to the warm tone of her exact Haus Labs shade of foundation, and curled to achieve a more dimensional effect before being embroidered individually by hand to a crinoline base also custom dyed to be her exact warm tone- all done in-house by our New York Atelier"
One of Gaga's most stunning Vegas-worn headpieces to date is another one-off-one bespoke Arturo Rios! This time: gold lamé leather orchid bouquet with large crystals peeking out between the leaves and buds.
She finished off with her previously-worn Jimmy Choo Anouk metallic gold pointed-toe pumps!
The finale look of the show sees Gaga wearing a bespoke Topo Studio NY plush black silk velvet gown with attached tails to the wrists, embroidered with over 400 cosmic crystals.
The fun feather headpiece with crystallized cap was custom-made for her by Binata Millinery.
For this look she wore Jimmy Choo's Romy black patent leather pointed-toe pumps.

Hedi Slimane's First Bag for Céline Pops Up on Lady Gaga
PARIS, France — American singer-songwriter Lady Gaga was spotted in Paris carrying Hedi Slimane's first handbag for Céline, the LVMH-owned label where he took the creative reins as artistic, creative and image director in February 2018, replacing Phoebe Philo.
Images of Gaga at the Louvre Museum in Paris holding the black leather handbag were first spotted and posted to social media by fashion writer Pierre A. M'Pelé. Gaga's stylist Tom Eerebout confirmed to BoF that the new design was, in fact, by Slimane.
"He gifted her the bag and it's the first one from his new collection," said Eerebout, who has been part of Haus Of Gaga, the artist's creative team, since 2016. According to the stylist, the handbag will be presented as part of Slimane's first collection for Céline in September at Paris Fashion Week.
Representatives for Céline declined to comment.
Source: Instagram/@hedislimaneworld
"Lady Gaga always supported Hedi at Saint Laurent," continued Eerebout, referring to Slimane's tenure at the Kering-owned house Yves Saint Laurent. "They're really close friends and they have been since he photographed her for 'The Fame Monster' album cover."
This is not the first time Gaga has been first to promote Slimane's designs. Back in 2012, she was the first celebrity to wear a full look from the Saint Laurent's Spring/Summer 2013 collection by the Los Angeles-based designer, just a week after the runway show. In 2016, she was again the first to wear a gold sequin mini dress with exaggerated puffball shoulders from Slimane's final couture collection for the brand.
The singer, referred to as "Mother Monster" by her fans, has amassed a large following of "Little Monsters" (a phrase which she has had tattooed on herself) and has over 29 million followers on Instagram alone.
LVMH has major commercial ambitions for Céline, which is nearing €1 billion in annual sales. Slimane is set to launch new product categories — including menswear, couture and fragrance — as well as a more robust digital strategy could help to double that figure.
At Saint Laurent, Slimane's creative directorship from 2012 to 2016 divided critics, but his LA youth culture-driven collections drove stellar financial results for Kering: in his first three years, the French brand more than doubled annual sales revenue to €707 million in 2014 (about $787 million), up from €353 million in 2011. But Slimane unexpectedly exited the house in April 2016
According to Eerebout, Gaga has "a massive archive" of Slimane's work for Saint Laurent.
