Summer love comes and goes before you even realize it like a short-lived dream that’s why I can’t be helped! So exchange that love with me ( ・ω│ﾁﾗｯeheh

Summer’s now over isn’t it, it’s surprising how cold it’s become all of a sudden. For some reason I felt like the Summer this year would just keep going…

Whenever I put on my coat I feel kind of sad, it’s not that I have any attachment to the heat or anything, and I want to avoid it because I’m not good with it but when the 30 plus degree temperatures leave it makes us feel bad.

Yesterday, on the 18th of September, it was NaoNao’s birthday 🐻

Happy Birthday!

She’s tall and has good fashion, but she’s like a baby on the inside and she’s super handsome and cool, very Naondsome. That’s Tomi-san has a huge gap between personalities, I love it!

I didn’t think that Bananaman-san would face the camera, and so my body moved. When the crowd at the venue saw Bananama-san it got ever livelier and more energetic.

When we did Natsu no Free&Easy Himura-san was right in front of me. I noticed that my energy was even higher than usual before I even noticed it, it was a lot of fun!

But there’s something that I want to say. I made one mistake! The one shot with the index finger pose is supposed to be a one time secret pose, like this 🤫

That’s right, Ikeda didn’t make a mistake, everything is a secrettttttt

As expected Hokkaido has a play with a lot of memories for me.

This is before we performed out 5th generation member song, it also overlapped with TIF and other jobs and it was a time when we really worked hard and we were able to stand firm and make it through…

There were a lot of people that came to yesterday’s meet and greet and were saying things like ‘I saw you on the 2nd day in Hokkaido!!! I see, so we were both at the same place and I remembered how nervous I was but since everyone was there with me I felt a lot more reassured! I was so glad ^ ^

I was on 2 radio programs this week \( Ö )/

It was an amazing radio week

Doing radio shows is a lot of fun.

Doing a dialogue along with he MCs was amazing, reading the listener’s mail in real time made us laugh, and it made me feel like I wanted to be in that space forever.

Mikumikuu-chan and Sakusaku-tan were with me

Kuu-chan’s presence was amazing, I guess that’s someone that has experience for you. Saku-tan didn’t want to lose to that presence either and did her best. Otenki Nori-san’s dialogue and chit-chat made it super enjoyable.

However!

I regret to say that I become a silent monk…no matter what I was asked all I said was ‘I sleep’, because I sleep while watching anime and Tokusatsu…seriously (it’s the truth!)

I’ve also seen the second episode of Kamen Rider Geets, I was able to see the panda character but I’m a little bit unsettled, is this character perhaps a bad person? Panda rider 🐼

There are a lot of meet and greet on Sunday which is the same day that it airs, and I really want to talk about it. Whether or not I’ll be able to do both will be trial and error!

Back to the story at hand, Radirer!

I’m fresh off the air on the way home while writing this blog, September 18th was a really a day where we really spent the whole day together, it was a good day.

Even at the Meet and Greet there were people that were saying things like ‘Do you best today on Radirer!’ ‘I’ll definitely be tuning in!’ ‘I hope that my mail will be accepted’. There was quite a bit of talk around Radirer.

To the person who sent in a letter, was it chosen? Thank you very much for send one in m(_ _)m

The nature of the Radirer! Recomen! And Nogi no ‘no’ are all very different radios.

The first challenge was getting over being silent and not talking… I think I was able to overcome it. To say a phrase that would make your heart skip a beat, doing dad jokes, and doing improve were all things that I had never done before so I was very nervous. Everyone that listened, did you have fun?

Fujimori-san and Yokosawa-san as well as Higuchi-san were all very kind and we were able to end the broadcasts on a good note. Thank you so much.

Recently having to spend the whole day talking has made my throat sting! Everyone, make sure to take care of your throat. But because my throat is sore because I was talking with and to so many people I would say that this a happy pain!!!

We’re currently at a change in seasons so make sure to take care of yourself everyone. Every day late at night when I’m finally able to jump in to bed I feel like I’m on the verge of death.

This time I was able to make all the way from the second time slot all the way to the 5th time slot. During our talks there were a lot of people that were worried about my health. Their words were so kind and warm, I wanted to thank you all there but couldn’t but I can here so thank you so very much.

People told me that they were able to transfer to the 18th which made me feel at ease. To the people who couldn’t meet me on the 4th, I’m so sorry I wanted to meet you （т-т）

But I’ll be waiting for you to come see me!!! I’m you faithful dog Terekou, let’s do a meet and greet together (TL Note: faithful dog Terekou is a pun on the name of the dog Hachiko who has a statue at Shibuya station)

To the people that I met over the course of the summer tour, to the people who watch me live on air, to the people who were with me from the start…I met a lot of people this time, thank you very much.

I’m not the kind of person who has ever worked hard enough to feel like they’ve accomplished something but since joining Nogizaka, I’ve felt that about a lot of things now. I thought about why and I’ve recently come to realize that it’s probably because I’m not working hard for myself but it’s because I’m working hard for other people.

This is one of the big leaps forward that I made this summer.

Even by working hard for myself I didn’t come to like myself any more, but I came to love all of you. By saying that I love all of you over and over maybe one day it’ll dawn on me and I’ll be able to love myself too…I think 🤟🏻

By the way, apparently the hand sign means I love you, makes me blush!

This is a nostalgic item for me ( ᜊ˙˘˙ )ᜊIt’s the first time I wore it since my first meet and greet in April, it calms me down and it’s almost like being in the comfort of one’s home

I thought it was only popular with the 5th generation members… but when I went to the fixed room this time I saw Hayashi-san and Yakubo-san with Cat ears!!! There were so cute I died. Yakubo’s stomach is thinner than my smartphone, it makes Ikeda more determined on her diet.

In the comment section of my blog, why was there a rumor going around about me wearing maid clothes during the 5th time slot, I didn’t (・_・;) I was also in the fixed room before the 5th time slot

I want to try wearing a costume one day, I’m looking forward to trying

The secret hairstyle from the September 4th meet and greet was… that they were all animal hairstyles! There were a lot of people that wrote the correct answer in the comments, Ikeda is glad.

Saku-tan and I along with our guest CHAY-san, we sang ‘Kiss ha me ni shite!/ the Venus.

For Ikeda saying the word ‘kiss’ in a cute voice was difficult… Saku-tan was like on her bike and was able to learn it very quickly and it was hard for me to keep up with her, I was a little scared of what it will look like on air.

CHAY-san really fits the word Charming perfectly and she’s very lovely, how else can I say it… she’s like a adorable doll that I wanted to buy at the department store when I was younger! If you watch it on air then I think you’ll see what I meaaaaan

She’s very kind, fragile but has a powerful and commanding voice, it was a lot of fun to sing next to her, thank you so very much m(_ _)m

On last week’s episode we did something new, we did hit, cover rock paper scissors! (sweats)

I’ll show you the excitement of that time! Was something that came out without thinking about it and was a line that I couldn’t get out of my head from Yamashita Mizuki-san from 46 hour TV.

Every said that they wanted to see me meow, so maybe it would have been better if I actually lost? Is something I’ve been thinking about… for a young duck doing Variety is still very difficult.

I see the generally fluffy and adorable Saku-tan have this bomber like fighting spirit and I love her for it and this time I was almost crushed by it.

It’s not really a question but more like asking for advice but not what I do I can’t keep doing it for a long time… Do you know a technique or secret method to keep doing something for a long period of time?

Why don’t you just try doing things that you enjoy. I like drawing and so even when I get tired and exhausted and need to take a breather before I know it I’m drawing another drawing. Also I stop doing things before I come to hate them, if you think things like, I want to do this for a little longer… and you hold through it you will be able to keep doing it for a longer period of time!

When you have some free time, take some time to go out and bathe in the sun. Recently my distaste of the sun has surprisingly eased up desire for photosynthesis ¯\( ˘–˘ )/¯
