Professor! Leon x Shy college student reader au. The reader noticed Leon is hanging out with his friends in a local bar. At first she wants to say hello to him but decides not to as she didn’t want to interrupt him.
Later on, she got drunk and got harassed by some strangers, Leon came to rescue her and brings her home.
Fast forward in the morning, reader realised she’s not in her room but instead at Leon’s place. Safe to say she’s panicked, awkward and embarrassed 😂 (maybe some Leon’s pov too? If it’s not too much, thank you)

Author's Note: This is so ugh- Thank you for requesting, Enjoy!

Finals were kicking your ass right now, walking out of your last class of the day your phone vibrated in your pocket. Sighing you checked your phone to see your friend texted the study group you are in.
'Let's reward ourselves tn, Meet up at the Libary at 8!'
Everyone seemed excited to go to The Libary, which was a local bar downtown that was a common meeting place for the college students in the area. Pocketing your phone you walked to your car and headed home.
You should really be home right now, studying for your psychology class. Not nursing a fruity cocktail while watching your friends play darts. The alcohol rushed to your legs causing a slight tingle numbing them. Resting your heavy head in your palm your eyes roamed around the bar taking in your surroundings. Analyzing reoccurring faces and new ones. When you made it to a dark corner of the room your body froze as you notice an ash-brown head of hair with broad shoulders and a slight scruff to their face; Mr. Kennedy, your psychology professor.
Mr. Kennedy was one of your favorite professors, besides his strict ways and long lectures he was quite knowledgeable and very easy on the eyes. You two had built a solid student-teacher relationship with flirty comments from time to time. You would be lying to yourself and everyone around if you hadn't thought about him in the late hours of the night. The thought of him bending you over his desk 10 minutes before a class had you clenching your legs together.
Chugging the rest of your drink, high off of liquid courage and lust you hopped off the bar stool getting ready to walk over and say hi to him, maybe talk to him about his day.
When walking over to his table, you just noticed the 3 other middle-aged men sitting with him. Everything from your body faded as your nerves overtook the feeling. Walking to his table your eyes locked in with his sharp blue eyes. You began to drown in them the longer you looked.
Your cheeks turned red as you broke your stare by looking down and waving a little as you passed him. After he was out of your sight you were quick to speed up your pace and rush outside to the back patio.
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧ Leon's Pov✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
He for sure thought his eyes were deceiving him. There's no way his best student was drinking during finals week, especially when she had to take his final tomorrow at 9 in the morning. He could see the alcohol take hold of your body as your legs wobbled slightly and red dusted your cheeks.
He also thought he was going insane when he saw you walking in his direction, there was no way his shy student who barely talked in class was going to talk to him.
Chris's loud laugh broke Leon from his thoughts as he watched you slightly wave at him before walking off. Sagging his shoulders he downed the rest of his whiskey before standing up to get another drink.
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧Readers Pov✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
The hours seemed to blur as the drinks seemed to mush. You could already feel the hangover edging on as you waited outside for your ride. Your arms crossed over your stomach as you rocked back and forth on your heels. The cold breeze swayed your hair as a shiver ran through your body. You regret wearing the shorts and tank top you have on.
You pulled your phone out to see how far the Uber was when you heard a low whistle to the left of you. Popping your head up you were met with a group of boys.
"Damn, who left you all out in the cold. You can come with us angel and we can warm you up real quick," His implication had you cringing a little bit.
Deciding it was best to just ignore him you brought your attention back to your phone.
"Come on pretty lady, don't be like that," You could hear his heavy steps as he approaches you.
You have never sobered up as fast as you did at that moment.
"I'm ok really, but thank you for the offer," You gave him a small smile in hopes that he and his group of friends would just leave you alone. It did quite the opposite, his other two friends walk up next to him.
"Come on princess ju-"
"She said no," A deep voice rumbled behind you as a musky scent floated to your nose.
"It's not that serious man," The boy lifted his hands up before he turned and walked away.
Craning your head you were met with piercing blue eyes and ash-blonde hair.
"Professor Kennedy-" Your words slurred as you lost your balance. Leon was quick to catch you, wrapping his hands around your body.
"How about, you come home with me? How does that sound?" You pushed out of his grasp as you shook your head no.
"Nonoo, it's fine I have an Uber coming,"
"Princess, you are too drunk to ride in an Uber alone. I insist," A shiver ran through your body as your teeth chattered against each other.
Leon was quick to shrug his leather jacket off as he wrapped it around your shoulder. He placed his hand on your lower back and led you to his Jeep. He opened the door for you as you tripped up into the car. Leon could only laugh as he buckled you up and walked over to his side.
You slipped your arms through his jacket as his scent overwhelmed your senses. Taking a deep breath in you could only smile as his citrus scent eased your nerves. When Leon got in the car you were quick to turn to him and smile. "Do you know you smell really good."
"Oh yea? Thank you, princess," Leon smiled as she started his car and drove off.
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧ Leon's Pov✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
By the time Leon had made it home, your head rested against the window as soft snores left your mouth. Turning the car off he twisted his body to admire your peaceful form. He couldn't believe he took one of his current students home or the fact that his heart was racing. This isn't right, it's strictly forbidden to have a relationship with his students but for some reason, the thrill of it got the best of him. The thought of getting caught made his dick strain in his pants. Shaking his thoughts away he rubbed his face as he quietly got out of the car.
Leon took a deep breath before he opened your door and caught your slumped body. Carrying you in his home he was quick to place you down in his bed. He took your shoes off and tucked you in. He then, left two headache pills, water, and a trash can next to his bed before he changed real quick and slept on the couch.
Rolling over, his arm hung off the couch as his mouth was open. The sun peaked past his curtains shaking him from his slumber. Fluttering his eyes open he brought his hands to rub his eyes before he heard a thump coming from his room.
Leon shot out of his bed as he rushed to his room to find your head in a toilet.
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧ Readers Pov✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
Rolling over your head pounded as your guts turned. The sheets had a familiar smell that you couldn't put a name on, all you knew is that it wasn't your bed. Shooting up, your hands gripped the bed around you as you took in your surroundings. The plain walls and blue sheets were not familiar to you. Nerves filled your body and wrapped around you. Your head pounded harder at your sudden movement and your stomach climbed up your throat.
Throwing the sheets off you you tripped out of the bed and slammed the bathroom door open. Falling to your knees you let everything out in the toilet. Praying to the porcelain gods in some stranger's bathroom was not how you wanted to spend your last day of university but here you are. Memories of last night flashed between your vision, you hoped and prayed that you didn't end up with the group of guys last night. The thought alone had your stomach rolling again. You pushed your face back into the toilet as you felt someone gently move the hair from your face and rub your back.
That familiar scent wafted towards your nose as the soothing circles calmed you down. Falling back on your knees you looked up to see who you spent your night with.
"Professor Kennedy? Oh my god- OH.MY.GOD," You shot up from your position and slammed the toilet lid shut as you flushed it.
"I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry," Your face grew red as panic filled your veins at the mere thought of your hot psych teacher taking care of your drunken self. Your breath caught in your throat as all of the possibilities of what happened last night ran through your head.
"I'm going to be sick-" You fell to the ground as you empty whatever you had left in your stomach.
Leon was quick to pull your hair back again, "Hey hey hey, it's ok. Nothing happened, I just took you home with me last night so nothing could happen to you. I didn't want you to ride in a Uber alone that late," You nodded your head before you puked once again.
His hand rubbed circles as he let out a laugh, "How about this if you have breakfast with me, I'll let you pass your final,"
Falling back on your knees you lolled your head to the side as you looked up at Leon. "It's a deal,"
"Deal."

Chris Chitsey "Life is Hard, Whiskey is Easy"
Tumblr media
Native Texan, Chris Chitsey, made a name for himself on the competitive, Texas honky-tonk circuit before graduating to success on a national level in the early 2000’s. His smooth evocative voice and energetic stage presence quickly established Chris as one of the latest Texas exports to find national acclaim. Rooted in the smooth Texas country style, Chris began his music career, as a high schooler, on the stage of his father’s Bar-B-Q restaurant and entertainment venue in the heart of Austin, TX. Raised on a steady diet of George Strait, Garth Brooks, Randy Travis, Merle Haggard, Keith Whitley & Alan Jackson, Chris’ future had taken shape. After becoming the main attraction in Central Texas throughout his college years, Chris inked his first record deal two years into his college career at Southwest Texas State University. His self-titled debut album had three songs hit the top spot, including “At A Time Like This”, “John Wayne Rides Again” and “With A Body Like That”, which held 18 weeks on the CMT and GAC Top 10 Countdowns. Chris completed his undergraduate degree and went on to earn a master’s degree, all while maintaining his focus on his music career. Chris’ journey in the country music business has been a true testament to his talent, persistence and dedication he brings to the table. His star power, world-class voice and imposing personality have brought him the national acclaim that country music fans knew was coming since the beginning. His skill as a commanding and confident entertainer is apparent every time he takes the stage, carrying fans on one of music’s most enjoyable journeys. His versatility is evident in the wide range of singles he has released. Chris is a dreamer and his highly touted success is more than he ever could have envisioned. After many years of working the road, Chris charted his fourth #1 single, “Lonely In Tucson,” in February of 2015 on the New Music Weekly Country America Chart. He followed that with two more #1’s, “Superstitious Heart” & “Just Don’t Know It Yet.” Summer of 2023 brought on a monumental change to Chris’ entire organization, with a new 8 single record deal on Sony/Orchard/Clinetel. First single out of the box, “Last Time I Saw You”, garnered significant praise, landing Chris his seventh #1 worldwide single. Chris has teamed-up with a true American Icon to kick off 2024. With a knock-out video, filmed at the Jack Daniel distillery, in Lynchburg, TN, the January single release of “Life is Hard, Whiskey is Easy”, promises to be Chris’ best work yet. You will find the entire Chris Chitsey single collection wherever you download/stream your music. Whether on stage or in the recording studio, Chris exudes his passion and dedication to the country music industry. Ode to David Gibson (1951-2019)
Being at a Scrabble tournament always makes me think of the late David Gibson who died suddenly of cancer right before the pandemic in November 2019 (obituary). David Gibson is my all-time Scrabble hero and was the best Scrabble player in the world. Gibson would not have come to Vegas (he didn’t like to fly), but his spirit is definitely present and many people here would’ve known him. He was active in the Asheville Scrabble club and generously mentored players (including myself!) from all over the world.
His last Nationals was in Fort Wayne where he started out his first morning 2-2 and then went on to dominate most of the tournament in Division I. I remember seeing him in between games (me, the lowly Division 3 player) and he would ask, how are you doing? Meanwhile he was mopping up the floor at Ft. Wayne - winning 1st place handily. In the Nationals appearance before that (2012), Gibson lost first place to another Scrabble legend, Nigel Richards (who famously won the French National Scrabble Dictionary without knowing French). Gibson and Richards had the same Win-Loss record (22-9), but Richards had an overall point spread difference in the tourney that was 16 points more than Gibson’s spread. In the course of 31 games where might he have picked up 16 measly points??? There are some really fun YouTube histories of Nigel vs. David that Will Anderson made.
Off the Scrabble clock, David Gibson was a math professor at Southern Methodist College and played Scrabble nightly with his wife, Nancy, in their “Scrabble Room.” This reminds me of my parents who have also had a nightly Scrabble game for as long as I can remember.
Gibson is described as modest, soft-spoken, and a "provincial mystic.” As a testament to his modesty and supreme awesomeness, when Gibson won one tournament he set aside some of the prize money for charity and divvied up the rest of the winnings in individual checks (along with a handwritten note) sent to every competitor not finishing in the top 10 of the tournament (from Sports Illustrated article).
The “Gibson Rule”. Gibson had such a knack for winning that an official Scrabble rule was created and named after him during the 1995 Super Stars SCRABBLE Championship. David had clinched the #1 slot with more rounds to play. No matter what, no player would be able to catch up to him. The Gibson rule was instated so that the #1 player can be “Gibsonized” and removed from playing in the final rounds. This allows the competitors vying for 2nd and 3rd and so on to play amongst themselves instead of damaging their ratings or shot for 2nd or 3rd by playing #1. Gibson was frequently “gibsonized” in local tournaments.
I had the good fortune of playing some friendlies with David Gibson in Knoxville, TN (image above). I can attest to his humility, kindness, and straight-up wizardry with words. We played as a team against Mia & Nancy. I was frustrated that we had 0 blanks in two games and pretty terrible tile luck. But David on the other hand was enjoying the games and said he actually thought it more fun to work with a bad rack. We lost those games, but I (humble jedi-master-in-training) learned a lot in the process. Playing with this Scrabble legend has helped me coin my mantra for Nationals (and for all Scrabble games) ... WWDGD (What would David Gibson Do?).
The short answer to WWDGD? is ... WIN. The longer answer to the question is: be humble, play your best, reflect on the games afterwards using Quackle (his advice to me), and think of each rack as a new, fun challenge.

Higher Education   B.A. in Biblical Ministry (2014), IBLP’s International Ministerial Institute  (Burnet, TX) (Note—Oddly, Brandon mentioned that his “final semester” at IMI was Fall 2013...  But, later, he’s still in school, and that’s why he and Michaela couldn’t get engaged until Spring 2015.  Duggar Data has a theory of why this is...  IMI is a 3–Year program, with an option to extend to 4 Years and earn a bachelor’s degree.  I think the 2013 graduation was from the 3–Year program.  Brandon must’ve opted to go for the bachelor’s degree, which explains the additional year.)
Occupation   [ Unknown ]
... Previously   Videographer / Creative Designer, Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP)  (Oak Brook, IL; ?—2019) (Note—Brandon first started working for IBLP in Chicago after his homeschool graduation, probably 2007 or 2008.  Bringing Up Bates (6–11–15), “Meet The Parents.”)
The Relationship—
First Meeting   c. March 2009
Location   IBLP Headquarters; Hinsdale, IL
Details   The Bates Family took a trip to Chicago, so that Michaela and her sisters could attend Journey to The Heart.  Before departing for the session, Michaela was at IBLP, where she happened to notice Brandon.  Brandon also recalls meeting the Bates Family, at that time.
Timing   We know that this all happened in 2009, “just after” Michaela’s 19th Birthday—i.e., January 23, 2009.  Apparently, it wasn’t immediately after, though, since Brandon recalls it as “Spring 2009.”  Duggar Data is pretty confident that it was March 2009—which is arguably in the spring—based on this Post on FreeJinger, reporting that that’s when Michaela did Journey to The Heart.  (Unfortunately, the Post cites to a page that’s now deleted, so it’s impossible to verify.)
Pre–Courtship   November 29, 2013  (See Also)  (Friday)
Location   by Phone  (Michaela in North Carolina.)
Details   After praying about it, Brandon called Gil Bates and asked him for permission to start a relationship with Michaela.  Gil and Kelly talked to Michaela, and called back later that day with their blessing.  Brandon then called Michaela, and their pre–courtship began.  (See Also.)
Timing   On the “Our Story” Posts on their website, both of the Keilens recall the fateful first phone call happening on Black Friday 2013.  (Note—Thanksgiving 2013 was on November 28, so Black Friday was on the 29th.)  Oddly, some other evidence contradicts this, indicating it was on November 28.  Duggar Data can’t really explain why...  Brandon realized his feelings on November 28th, then called Gil on the 29th?  Regardless, my spreadsheet has November 29 as their Pre–C.S. Date, based on the “Our Story” Posts.
Tumblr media
Courtship   December 30, 2013  (Monday)
Location   Restaurant at The English Inn; Eaton Rapids, MI
Details   While Michaela was visiting Brandon in Michigan, they went on a date to The English Inn.  Over dinner, Brandon gave Michaela a journal, a poem professing his love, and a gold–plated dried rose, then asked her to start an official courtship.  She agreed.
Announced   January 2, 2014 on the Bates Family Website  (+3 Days)
Tumblr media
Engagement   April 13, 2015  (See Also)  (Monday)
Location   Great Falls Park; McLean, VA  (See Bringing Up Bates (7–9–15), “Brandon Pops The Question.”)
Details   Brandon set up a scavenger hunt for Michaela, which led her all over the Washington, DC Area.  It coincided with cherry blossom season, which was a nice touch.  After a few too many clues, Michaela ended up at Great Falls Park, where Brand was waiting with the ring.  (Bringing Up Bates (7–9–15), “Brandon Pops The Question.”)
Announced   April 16, 2015 by UpTV  (+3 Days)
Featured On   Bringing Up Bates (7–9–15), “Brandon Pops The Question”
Tumblr media
Wedding   August 15, 2015, 2:00 PM  (Saturday)
Location   Wallace Memorial Baptist Church; Knoxville, TN
Officiants   Gil Bates (Bride’s Father), Dr. S.M. Davis (Groom’s Mentor) (Bringing Up Bates (2–4–16), “Wedding Bliss and First Kiss.”)
MOH   Kelly Jo Bates  (Bride’s Mother) (Id.)
Best Man   [ Unknown / Unable to Verify ]

Featured On   Bringing Up Bates (2–4–16), “Wedding Bliss and A First Kiss”
Honeymoon   Wyoming and Montana  (See Also Bringing Up Bates (2–11–16), “Fly Fishin’, Zip Linin’ Honeymoon.”)
Information about the Keilens’ infertility struggle...  After the jump.
Tumblr media
Infertility Struggle—
Since their marriage, Michaela + Brandon have struggled with infertility.  They went public with their struggle in January 2017, when they chose to discuss it on Bringing Up Bates (1–26–17), “Doggy Dilemmas.”  They have shared since shared additional details about their infertility on the show, their personal blog, and social media.  Here’s what we know—
Firstly, Michaela + Brandon very, very much want children, and it was expected they’d probably have a large family.  Here’s what’s been said about this—
Michaela:  “Brandon and I have talked a lot about having children...  I would have as many as I possibly could.”  (Bringing Up Bates [BUB] (1–22–15), “Training Up Bates.”)
Michaela (on the Keilens’ Blog):  “Growing up I always dreamed of being a mother someday. ... Children were the greatest miracle in my eyes, and I spent all my free time babysitting.  Every time I rocked a baby to sleep, I dreamed of someday cuddling my own little one.”
Brandon:  “That ... is an area we want the Lord to have control in. ...  He is just saying no for now.  We hope it’s not no for always—but, it’s no for now.”  (BUB (1–26–17), “Doggy Dilemmas.”)
Kelly:  “Everyone in the family has always predicted and said, ‘Michaela is going to be the one that has a really, super large family.’”  (BUB (1–26–17), “Doggy Dilemmas.”)
After 6 Months of marriage, Michaela + Brandon began to worry that Michaela wasn’t getting pregnant.  (BUB (1–26–17), “Doggy Dilemmas.”)  Michalea went to her doctor, who ran a few tests but told her:  “Don’t even think about a baby until you’ve been married at least a year…  Babies take time!”
By the Keilens’ 1st Anniversary, Michaela still wasn’t pregnant, and the Keilens decided to see a fertility specialist.  (BUB (1–26–17), “Doggy Dilemmas.”)  The Keilens have shared quite a bit about this process, including the following—
The doctor did extensive testing.  Apparently, Michaela + Brandon were both examined.  (BUB (1–25–18), “SUN Day, Fun Day.”)  Brandon hasn’t commented publicly on the process, but Michaela has...  She described doing “a lot of bloodwork,” and  getting “a lot of ultrasounds.”  (BUB (8–31–17), “Here’s The Scoop.”)  She stated that, over the course of a year, they “tried all of the major tests”—racking up significant medical bills, in the process.  (BUB (1–11–18), “Decorating Dilemmas Job Decisions.”)
Despite all the testing, the doctor hasn’t been able to determine what’s causing their fertility struggle.  (See BUB (8–31–17), “Here’s The Scoop” and BUB (1–25–18), “SUN Day, Fun Day.”)
One thing the tests did show is that Michaela hyper–ovulates.  Bringing Up Bates hasn’t mentioned what’s causing this, or whether her doctors even determined a cause.  (Medically speaking, hyper–ovulation means that, if Michaela conceives, she’s at increased risk of having multiples.)  (BUB (1–25–18), “SUN Day, Fun Day.”)
Around August 2017, Michaela decided to undergo one final test, “then take a little break” from all the medical intervention in her infertility.  The test was a hysterosalpingogram—i.e., a medical procedure that uses x–ray to visualize scarring in the uterus or fallopian tubes.  Dr. Vick did the test.  He identified, and was able to clear, a fallopian tube blockage.  He advised the Keilens to wait three cycles, then consider surgery if they’re still unable to conceive.  (BUB (1–25–18), “SUN Day, Fun Day.”)
As of 2020, it’s unknown if Michaela got—or intends to get—the surgery that Dr. Vick mentioned.
Michaela has said that she is interested in adoption, if she’s unable to have her own children, saying:  “Someday [I’ll have a baby], maybe, and if not, I’ll adopt me a baby.”  (BUB (8–31–17), “Here’s The Scoop.”)  As far as I know, Brandon hasn’t ever spoken publicly about the possibility of adoption, surrogacy, etc.
What’s Next—
The Predictor will assume a couple is incapable of having children if they’re 5+ SDs Late to announce Pregnancy #1, and they’ve been married for 5 Years.  In the Keilens’ case, they’re already >5 SDs Late to announce Pregnancy #1.  (As of April 11, 2020, they’re actually ~47 SDs Late...  Way, way later than 5 SDs...)  Their 5th Anniversary is this year, on August 15.  If they still haven’t announced a pregnancy by then, the Predictor will stop predicting children for them.
... That’s All The Data for Michaela + Brandon.

Top 10 Richest Lawyers In The World
So, who are they?  Here is a quick look at the   richest attorneys in the entire world, ranked from the lowest net worth to the highest. Please be aware that the people on this list are all practicing lawyers or judges.  There are loads of other "attorneys " using a substantially higher net worth, but they simply possess a law degree and no more use it.
Bill Neukom: $850 million
Currently serving as the founder and CEO of the World Justice Project, which is dedicated to encouraging the rule of law all over the world, Bill Neukom is a corporate attorney who is well-known for his philanthropy.  After graduating from Stanford Law School in 1967, he worked in a small business until he had been asked to do work for Microsoft, which had been in its beginning phases.  Eventuallyhe became Microsoft's legal counsel, a position he held for 25 years.  Previously, he had been an investor in the San Francisco Giants.
Vernon E. Jordan Jr.: $12 million
Born in 1935, Jordan has enjoyed a very long law career that began after his graduation from Howard University.  (In addition, he holds over 70 honorary degrees from several colleges and universities.)  He's now the senior council, focusing on general council, organization, and global law, in Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer, and Feld LLP.  His early career focused mostly on civil rights, while he later served as an advisor to President Clinton.  The majority of his fortune had been earned by representing huge businesses, including Xerox and American Express, in addition to spending time as Wall Street banker.
Judge Joe Brown: $30 million
Best known for his day court series which ran for 15 decades, Judge Joe Brown received his law degree from UCLA.  After working as the initial African-American prosecutor in Memphis, TN, he opened his own practice before working as a criminal court judge in Shelby County, TN. While presiding over James Earl Ray's allure for the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr., he grabbed the attention of TV producers.  The majority of his wealth had been obtained via the show.  In 2014, he ran for district attorney general in Shelby County, but lost to the incumbent.
Thomas Mesereau: $25 million
Also a criminal defense lawyer (Are you noticing a trend?) , Thomas Mesereau graduated from Harvard University and The University of California's Hastings College of Law and has was named "Trial Lawyer of the Year for 2015" from the National Trial Lawyers.  (He has won lots of other awards including "Criminal Defense Lawyer of the Year. ") He is known for taking high stakes cases with hopeless odds and getting extraordinary results.  He had been Michael Jackson's attorney when he was acquitted of 14 child molestation charges and has won an unprecedented three national criminal jury trials in a row.  While his hourly rate is so high that it's not published, he does pro bono work through the Mesereau Free Legal Clinic.
Jane Wanjiru Michuki: $60 million
Educated in the Kenya School of Law and Warwick University, Jane Wanjiru Michuki is a managing partner at Kimani & Michuki Advocate, a corporate law firm in Nairobi, Kenya that represents several of the biggest corporations in Kenya, such as Equity Group Holdings Limited.   In addition to her law career, she is the largest female stockholder in the Nairobi Stock Exchange, which is where a fantastic piece of her net worth comes from.

This is an announcement for @taylorswift . If you are not Taylor Swift please help her see this 😂. Hi, my names Abby, (you follow me on tumblr but it was back when I was younger). I just moved to Nashville, TN for college this past month! I’m super excited. I’m studying Music Business to be a part of a marketing team for a record label (hopefully... atleast that’s the dream). Soooo, I’m from Kansas and that’s like 12 hours away. Away from my friends, family and all I’ve ever known. It’s a lot harder than I thought it’d be. On top of that, because of COVID I haven’t been able to do much or meet new people. Well, I was telling my RA how much I love you and wanna be friends with you. She said she’d make an exception for you to visit me because we can’t have visitors right now. @taylorswift . because of all of this plus some other circumstances, I’m pretty lonely. I’ve always listened to your music to get me through hard times and happy times, so of course I am now too. So this leads to the big question, wanna come over for a dorm warming party @taylorswift ? I know you’ll probably never see this but if by chance you do, we can always hang after COVID too because of safety 😂 @taylorswift help me make my dream since I was 10 come true, to hangout with you!

I made a list of my top ten moments of my year
10. I spent a lot of time at the beginning of summer sitting outside of my best friend’s starbucks. My (then) girlfriend would sit with me and we’d both do work and my best friend would come out and he would give us free drinks and kiss the tops of our heads and the sunset would always just be so beautiful. It was so warm. I felt so loved.
9. I went to London and got to meet up with two of my English internet friends who I’ve been close with for years. They gave me a tour of London and the best moment was when we were all three eating a proper english breakfast. I just felt so lucky to finally see them and hang out.
8. This is silly as hell but my (then) girlfriend and I were at a Jon Bellion concert in an outdoor venue and there was a couple next to us and the man left to go get a soft pretzel. He came back with one pretzel and no dip for him and his girlfriend. Then, my girlfriend left and came back with TWO pretzels AND dip. I was so excited when she came back, i was like overwhelmed with love. Very good moment.
7. I went to the Stardust Diner in NYC with one of my best friends and her boyfriend’s family. Not only did her boyfriend’s family like me enough to pay to extend my train ticket earlier that day, but they bought everyone dinner and the music was incredible, as was the food. I was just having such a wonderful time, I’ll remember that night forever.
6. I had just completed my first event with my new company and I was all dressed up and sipping wine with new friends. I felt really adult and accepted, as well as accomplished and fancy. I remember looking out of the event windows at Boston, from MIT’s campus and I definitely had that Wow I’ve Made It feeling.
5. I graduated college. That was a thing that happened. I’d definitely say the moment I was in Total Wine with my best friends getting ready for my going-away party and I got the Canvas notification that I passed my final class. The second I knew I really did it, that was just incredible. (I never walked across the stage- but I did get my diploma later from my parents)
4. I went to Czechia with my best friend who was born and raised there and finally got to meet her family. The best moment was sitting around the table in her grandparent’s apartment eating soup and watching her little nephew run around. I finally got to see her home + family and I loved it.
3. I moved to Boston. I showed up here alone at the airport with a giant suitcase and my backpack. I moved into a room with no furniture in a house with strangers I found on the internet. I sat on my bedroom floor and it was like 100 degrees in my house and I was so tired from spending all day in O’hare. And I just started sobbing. I was so tired from my two weeks in Europe, and packing up my entire apartment, and finding a place to live, and graduating college, and planning a whole going away party. I was so tired and I only had a mattress in a box that had arrived earlier. I felt like I was in an alien land. I was scared to even leave my room! I basically got dressed and left the house and the second I left my house, I stepped into blinding sunlight. And the birds were chirping, and the breeze was blowing. (It was the first time I’d seen my city in daylight). And I just had this rush of hope and joy. I felt like everything would be okay, better than okay- incredible. That moment was something I desperately needed.
2. I was at my old student job back in TN when my now boss called me and offered me my current job. I immediately accepted and I just felt like fuck yeah!!!! fuck yeah!!! I did it, I was just about to graduate college and I got a job in my field at one of the best universities in the world straight out of the gate! I immediately called my mom and the joy in her voice made me feel so happy. That moment was so ??? unreal. I couldn’t believe it had happened.
1.  Meeting Rhett and Link. Or maybe being on the front row of the stage and watching them walk out for the first time. I was so happy, everything seemed surreal. The entire Boston BC show just made my year. I was so lonely before it, stressed from work and being new in a city. but being there with all these people with a similar interest and the atmosphere of excitement and love. I shook Rhett’s hand and it felt like I’d won the fucking lottery. Everything about that night was beautiful and I think about it often and it makes my heart swell.
