The Red Cross has opened three shelters in St. Louis at the following locations:

Grace United Methodist Church, 6199 Waterman Boulevard

Friendly Temple Outreach Center, 6356 Martin Luther King Drive

12th & Park Recreation Center, 1410 S. Tucker Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63104

The Sikhs of MO are also looking for volunteers to help transport people affected to available shelters as well.

My dad built his garage around 20 years ago and it’s been like a home to him ever since. He spends more time in it than he ever did in his own house. It truly was a special place to him, and we’re all devastated that it’s gone. It was smashed by a tree in a recent storm.

My dad has always taken care of everyone around him, and I want to do something to help him now. Funds will go to rebuilding and replacing damaged and destroyed belongings, and helping him get by during these tough times.

Nowhere near as bad as it could be especially since other people lost their roofs down the street. I think it hopped over us.

My chicken run is unusable and completely mangled.

One of the raised garden beds is just crumpled in a heap, you can see all the dust on it.

The porch lost a section of lattice because an old nest box ran through it.

The trash cans were all fucked up but they aren't broken so I picked up the trash and set them right side up.

The bottom of my black nest box is boinked but it could be fixable

Surprisingly my Ecoflex didn't budge at all and has no damage
