this is the chaos studyblr i signed up for! notes i will never look at again! in bed! it’s past my bedtime! single subject notebook with notes from three classes! planning on getting drunk thursday and not studying for this exam on friday!

anyway, ive been thinking about the line from the minecraft endpoem that goes “and the universe said, you are the universe tasting itself, talking to itself, reading its own code” a lot recently. something i believe is often forgotten in the hard sciences is the beauty of just what we have learned and discovered about the universe. how intimately we know our bodies, down to the atoms and their arrangements required for life. likewise, we know so much the functionality of our brains, but forget the absolute significance of one brain studying another, one set of atoms examining and deriving meaning from another.

want to be a good scientist? ask “why” and “how” constantly. seek the answer and you might find a snippet of what it means to be alive, just like each great scientist before you.
