Hey Frank, I need relationship advice. I love my girlfriend very much, but we’ve had a huge disagreement. I love seals — they are so cute! Sopping wet beasts! But my girlfriend thinks seals belong in the plinko, just like the horses in horse plinko! This is putting a massive strain on our relationship. What are your thoughts, Frank? Do seals belong in seal plinko?

“I’m sorry” Chell said between weeps, “but I can’t keep lying to you, to us”.

And Glados, for the first time, had nothing to say.

“I-I don’t love you” she said, “I loved her, and I thought she still existed in you, but she’s gone” Chell said as the started to break down, tears falling from her eyes.

“Chell” Glados said, wiped one of Chell tears, “if that’s true, then why are you so sad?”.

“Because you’re not her; and never will be”

A hushed cried came out of Glados , she knew that was true, Caroline is gone, even though she remembers everything, she’s not the same person, “what do you want know?” She said, knowing already the answer.

“I can’t stay here, not anymore, let me go”.

“Okay” And then, the lift to the surface rises from the ground, “then go” Glados quietly said, even though her hearth was breaking, she still loved her, if only Chell had loved her, even just one drop of love, Glados heart would have been full.

“There’s no time for tear, leave” Glados spatted, unknown and painful feeling overwhelmed her, and she just watched.

And when Chell was gone, Glados fell, and then she bawled, not knowing how to process those feelings.

“You’re like a belladona” a memory of something someone said came to her, “beautiful but deadly”.

She was struck in her own enclosure , and just like a a beautiful flower trapped in a cage; she was destined to a lonely dead.
