Elita Ultima is the mother of Aqua and Stella Melodià and the wife of Raven. She grew up in a traditional household, taught by her parents that she would carry on her family's legacy. She grew up close to Eraqus, who is a very distant cousin, they both share Konohanasakuya 'Sakura' Celestia and Lupé as a common ancestor. Due to her laid back disposition, her parents often felt disappointed by her and she often clashes due to their expectations of her.

Despite liking to relax and slack off, she managed to pass her mark of mastery exam with flying colours, much to the surprise and delight of her family. During her time under master Odin's tutelage, she grew close to Raven who became her boyfriend and later fiancé. She struggled to get her parents to accept him, but made it clear they had no choice but to, as she was determined to marry him. She soon settled into married life and had 2 daughters, 5 years apart, Aqua and Stella.

While pregnant with Stella, she happened upon an abandoned tower in a strange new world and found Lupé, her ancestor, living there. After getting to know him, she decided she wanted to help restore lost knowledge before the keyblade war, something Raven was not happy about, as they planned to travel the worlds and train students together in their own school.

She finalised her decision, telling Lupé first, then writing a letter to her parents to apologise for being a disappointment and finally to Raven, giving him the letter and informing him she will give the girls to Eraqus because unlike them, he is more mature and in a better position to be a caregiver. For the children's sake, she made their last few days with them memorable and then gave them away, leaving shortly after. She kept in contact with Eraqus and was disheartened to learn Raven left without a trace.

She vaguely had an idea what happened to her children when Xehanort reappeared in Eraqus' life years later, but did not know what was going on as Eraqus passed before she was told everything and therefore, was powerless to stop it. However, she made her appearance when the guardians of light gathered to fight the seekers of darkness and re-established a relationship with her daughters. Aqua was more accepting as she had some memories of her mother, Stella, not so much, who's strict, no-nonsense personality clashes with her mother's happy go lucky, ditzy personality.

Elita's stance on the light vs darkness debate is they both are equal and should be in balance, but is more aligned to the light.

Raven is Elita Ultima's husband and the father of Aqua and Stella Melodià. His current whereabouts are unknown. When he was very young, his birth mother died and his father remarried, however later on, his father was killed in battle with a powerful heartless. His step mother, Nadeshiko Sakimitama raised him on her own since that day. They encountered financial troubles when his father's money began to run out and Nadeshiko Sakimitama's family refused to provide financial aid.

He decided to leave home and train under master Odin, where he met Eraqus, Xehanort and Elita Ultima. Raven's stance on the light vs darkness debate is that they need to be in balance, but believes in the power of darkness a little bit more, because if you can control it and not let it take over you, it can be a powerful weapon at your disposal and makes your light shine that much more brighter. When he passed his mark of mastery exam, he and Elita decided to travel the worlds together and start up their own school of keyblade welding, only the former half would be achieved.

He always felt pressure that he was not good enough for Elita, because he comes from a poorer background and doesn't come from a long lineage of noblemen keyblade warriors like her. Her parents disliked him, they thought Elita and him as individuals were childish and immature, so together they were even more so. Eventually, his doubts of himself became realised when Elita decided to give Aqua and Stella for Eraqus to raise and train instead of him, something her parents blamed him for initially. When Elita told him her plans, he felt conflicted, because he loved her, but felt betrayed, angered, sad and powerless to stop her from giving their children up and not even considering him as an option.

After being left to deal with the fall out of Elita's decision, he left the Land of Departure as well. Nadeshiko was the last person to see him, he told her his plans to leave and refused to tell her where he was going, even as she begged. Now that Xehanort has been defeated by the guardians of light, it is Elita's mission to find her missing husband to reconnect their displaced family again.

Sen, The Japanese Princess

Do you want to travel in Japan one day to view the beautiful places like rivers, lakes, the cherry blossom trees every summer or perhaps eat good food? Most people want to travel to experience these things, but what you do not know is that there is a place in Kyoto that tourists like to visit apart from all mentioned. It is the grave of the late Princess Sen. She played a big role in her family’s success back then. In this article, we will travel back in time to learn more about why her grave is a tourist spot in Kyoto. Princess Sen’s grandfather is Tokugawa Ieyasu, founder of the Tokugawa Shogunate which were Jodo sector believers. Her remains lie in Kyoto in the Chionin temple. Chionin temple is known as the leader of the Pure Land or what others call “Jodo”.

Perhaps one day, if you really decide to make a list of nice places in Japan for you to visit, we have compiled some of the interesting stories about the late princess. If you have more ideas on who she is, you will likely become more interested to see her sleeping place.

The Life of Princess Sen

She was the first daughter of Tokugawa Hidetada and was born beautifully in the year 1597. Princess Sen or “Senhime” lived her life for the succession of her family. She grew up to be a very obedient girl, even if it led to a marriage at the age of 7 years old only. Even if it was hard for her, or perhaps for everyone her age to be wed, she did everything she can to help her family. The marriage was a part of political arrangement. She was then sent to Osaka Castle which is very far away from her hometown Edo. Everything about her marriage was arrange by her father. For the sake of peace between Tokugawa and Toyotami families, she sacrificed herself. Though apparently, she wasn’t uncomfortable, she had to endure everything for the sake of the nation. Her situation was not easy because she lived a life like of a hostage.

Princess Sen’s Escape and Marriage

Time passed by for princess Sen. She was 18 years old back then in the year 1615 when families started clashing again. It was summer when another war broke out in Osaka when the Tokugawas won the war. During those difficult times, the princess still stayed with her husband. It was not long when Shogun Ieyasu finally rescued her to live with them again. She tried her best to convince Ieyasu to forgive her husband, but to no avail. The princess’ saviour, Sakazaki Naomori has asked her to marry him. She did not love him, and finally had the chance to decide for herself for the first time. She married Honda Tadatoki and lived in Himeji Castle with him. Her happiness was unlimited during their bond. Their happy marriage led to having two children: princess Katsu and prince Kochiyo. Unfortunately, her luck didn’t seem to last. At the age of 25 years old, her son died followed by the death of her husband from tuberculosis.

Wani #Wani #和邇 #わに LEGENDS: One of the most famous wani legends is the story of Toyotama hime, the daughter of Ōwatatsumi. She married a surface dweller named Hoori. Hoori and his brother Hoderi were grandchildren of Amaterasu, the goddess of the sun. One day Hoori borrowed and lost Hoderi’s fish hook. Hoderi insisted that Hoori find and return the lost hook, so Hoori went into the ocean to look for it. He was unable to find the hook, but instead he discovered the palace where the dragon king of the sea, Ōwatatsumi, lived. Hoori visited the palace and asked Ōwatatsumi for help finding the hook. With the dragon god’s help, Hoori found the hook, but in the meantime, Hoori had fallen in love with Toyotama hime, the daughter of the dragon god. Hoori and Toyotama hime were married, and they lived together at the bottom of the sea for three years. Eventually, Hoori became homesick and longed to see country again. Together, he and his wife returned to the surface world with Hoderi’s lost hook. While on land, Toyotami hime gave birth to a son. When she went into labor, she asked Hoori not to look upon her, because she had to change into her true form in order to bear her child. Hoori became curious and sneaked a peak at his wife while she gave birth. He was shocked to see, instead of his wife, a huge wani cradling their newborn son. The wani was, of course, Toyotama hime in her true form. Toyotama hime was unable to forgive his betrayal, and was so ashamed that she fled back into the ocean and never saw Hoori or her son again. Although Toyotama hime abandoned her son, her sister Tamayori came to raise him in her absence. The boy, Ugayafukiaezu, grew up to marry Tamayori, and together they had a son. Their son was Jimmu, the first emperor of Japan.
