These are the 296 GTS Carlos and Charles will be driving in Miami. As mentioned in the precious videos, Charles will drive the Azzurro La Plata and Carlos will be driving Azzurro Dino.

Wait, wait, wait, hold on. Did I miss something? They gonna drive them when? Some kind of a drivers parad or what?

My first thought was that these will be the cars they drive to and from the track every day. Like last year Charles drove a silver Ferrari and Lando captured this lovely video of him on the way to the track:

But it really makes more sense that they would use them for the Drivers' Parade, because they've had some pretty cool Ferraris in Miami in the past. Here is Charles at the 2022 Miami GP in a Ferrari Monza GP2:

And last year Carlos had to join Charles in his Ferrari 348, because there was something wrong with Carlos's car:

It's pride month so I NEED to remind people this:

If you are white, and near poc, and you see police near your parade/march/event, do not start chanting shit like "FUCK THE COPS!"

You are putting us in danger when you deliberately rile up police near POC.

It doesn't matter if we aren't the ones chanting it, there's a good chance police WILL think we are a part of your group if you are near us.

Protecting and being allies to people of colour is more than just saying "poc trans lives matter" and calling out people for using racial slurs.

You have to be aware of our presence, and how you act in our presence, and how you can contribute to violence against us without even meaning to. You have to match your politics with your actions.

Don't put POC in danger just because you want to make a statement.

I know everyone feels for George but I want to point out that as soon as the crash happened, double yellow flags were issued.

as stated by FIA, double yellow flags mean "a driver must be ready to change direction or come to a stop as there is a hazard partially or completely blocking the track". aka exactly the response that happened, since it's used for crashes (that's even how RedBull defines it: "usually used when a serious accident has occurred and the track is partially or completely blocked").

on the digital signs, even before Stroll's engineer warned him:

why was George screaming red flag? bc it's a quick way of portraying something serious happened, screaming "double yellow flags" is a mouthful and not as efficient, even if the drivers themselves know what the flags mean. he also got scared bc the VSC took 10+ seconds and he didn't know who was coming behind, but Stroll got the flags and by the time Yuki passed VSC was on.

it was very much a scary accident!!! but it did not become a tragedy since all warnings were given: George to his team, Aston to Stroll, digital double yellows and marshals flags, then VSC.

I do agree there's a discussion to have abt how quick the VSC was issued, but I'm inclined to believed the marshals and digital signs are FIA's way of dealing with that.
