She was your initial favorite. She is the most popular member and has a lot of activities. Something you are sure that the other members are jealous of.

But your still favorite is Wooyeon and you are happy you got a photocard of her. Then you received a notification. It is about an email for your raffle. You see that you have successfully entered and they’ll announce the winners on Friday later this week. Now you just wait. The small chance you actually are able to get picked for the event.

Now it is Friday. You are going through a very unusually busy schedule of work and you cannot wait for the weekend. All you want is rest. Dragons Rising: Season 2

I'm a little bit more nervous to watch season 2; I like watching things that make me feel happy, and from the brief spoilers I've gotten about this season, this is probably gonna be more sad than anything... But I'll try.

Episode 1: The Blood Moon

New Jordana look, huh? I don't really like it right now, but I can grow to get used to it.

The bad guys always seem too distracted, intentionally taking their time to get to their targets. I kinda understand why it was that way for the little phone video in the beginning of the episode, since it's such a cramped space to work with and the movements might cause motion sickness. But with every other fight? No.

Wow, Ryu grew up quite fast.

Also, with how much bigger Ryu is, I would've thought more time had passed. The way Sora had said that line makes it sound like she just unlocked her true potential instead of it being like... a few months ago or something.

Okay, so now we're on the "Arin really wants elemental powers" thing. He seemed mostly fine with that last season. What changed?

Arin, if you're looking for someone to be talking about those still lost in the merge, why the hell would you watch a Youtuber who only wants to talk about the ninja to sell merch? Also, where's Nya? I don't think I've seen her at all this episode.

Why is Arin's voice so soft now? It's like he's constantly whispering into the mic?

Why did Euphrasia have to say that? She could have looked relieved instead of saying that terribly said "Thank goodness your okay!"

Should Euphrasia even be here to save the Master Writer? She's using a crutch. Actually, does literally everybody have to be here for this? Bigger groups are hard to be stealthy with, and most of them aren't really being useful. They should've picked three to go in while everyone else stays behind as back up.

So Raz was the reason the worms turned evil last season. Hm...

I'm still not over it. Why is Ryu here? It should've been Lloyd, Arin, and Zane; Lloyd because he needs to confirm his visions, Arin because he's really foreshadowing something, and Zane to confirm the stupid language thing. Euphrasia would've been a good choice to bring if she wasn't using a crutch. Everyone else is just... here for no fucking reason except to just listen to the Master Writer. They're not really hiding, so any of the wolf-masked characters could easily find them. They didn't bother animating anyone except Lloyd and Arin going up the wall; they all just kinda teleported. This is bothering me so bad. (Not everyone has to be here to listen. The three that would've gone could've spread the information off screen so it didn't become too repetitive.)

It's sweet that Sora and Arin are talking to each other about fond memories, but... why? This came out of nowhere, and they just arrived at their destination. The writing here feels a little clunky.

Episode 4: Force From The East

Ooh, finally! Back to Cole.

God, Geo and Cole are so fruity.

That was a mouthful of exposition. They could've had a mini flashback of that moment from last season when Cole left and followed Wu. Sure, Geo didn't see that, but this show has never shied away from showing other character's perspectives during flashback sequences told by another character.

Geo being worried about Cole.

They're such an artistic family.

Bonzle is gonna make Geo panic.

Kai and Nya working together is sweet.

Me, too, Arin. Me, too.

The dragon speaking English instead of using telepathy or whatever.

"Should we... ask them what they want?" "Sure. What do you want?" *Gets obliterated* Lmao

Finally; Cole comes to the rescue!

Bonzle's hiding something... I'm not sure what just yet. But she knew that they could leave when they previously couldn't.

Why does Zane have a Frohicky plushie? I'm so confused.

Why isn't Cole surprised to see Zane?

"- why do you have a frog-man-doll?" "It is a long and barely comprehensible story." I love them.

So that's why I thought the Glacier reunion was so... weird and terrible. They're in the middle of a chase scene.

I like how Zane tries to decipher what the problem is by examining his face... I'm so normal about this pairing, I swear.

I like how this episode is split into the stuff that Lloyd and crew were doing and Cole and family were doing, but I focus on just the Cole and family stuff. Mostly just Cole and Geo. They're family is really sweet and care about one another so deeply. Fritz and Spitz need more to do, though; they're kinda just... kids in the middle of everything, but they seem to be as strong and fast as the rest of their family, so... idk

Episode 5: The Spell at the Waterfall

Ah, the Zane and Frohicky side of the plot.

I understand what Frohicky is trying to accomplish, but Zane has already gone to him if he has a problem with the things he's doing. That's just the kind of guy Zane is. This tactic might have worked better with Kai or Lloyd.

Zane whacking the bad guy with the stupid fucking doll lmao

Why wouldn't Bonzle have told them earlier? Lmao what a mouthful.

Oh, so that kinda makes sense... kinda. For Bonzle to know when the could leave. But she would've sensed that opening a long time ago, and probably would have looked more worried throughout the beginning of last episode.

See? The entire Cole and Geo family is artistic.

As a member of the Kisaragi foundation, he was thankful for magical girls, ridding the world of demons and helping it recover from the tragedy 

He made it clear that he admired them, but would never admit how much of a fanboy he actually was

It reminded him of the days where his dad would read him articles in the newspaper about magical girls, and young Teruya would listen with stars in his eyes 

He sometimes had nightmares of demons though, and even when he got older, he couldn't completely get rid of the fear 

This fear hit him full force when a suspected criminal turned out to be a demon, and Teruya felt talons digging into his skin as the demon stretching its winged, flying higher and higher

No matter how many times he punched it, the demon would not let go

Only for the demon to be completely obliterated after just a few hits from a familiar magical girl

He was watching in awe, and would have continued watching if the demon hadn't dropped him and he was approaching the ground rapidly 

But just before he hit the ground, he was caught by familiar arms who brought him to safety

Considering how big he is, he was surprised someone was actually able to hold him bridal style, but something about it felt familiar, and he was able to put the pieces together as he looked back up at you

He could tell it was you just by your eyes and your smile, the same way you used to look down at him when holding him to tease him when he was smaller 

He felt like his younger self, falling for you all over again

He loves what you do and would offer to make you new magical girl outfits! (With rainbow designs of course)

He doesn't have nightmares of demons anymore, knowing his S/o is right there to protect him

Nikei Yomiuri:

It didn't matter what he was doing, he would drop everything just to get a glimpse of a magical girl

It was one of the best scoops any journalist could get! And every time he got close and pouted over missing the scene, you'd giggle, and assure him that he'll be able to meet a magical girl one day

Little did he know he was dating one 

One day, when you were tagging along as he ventured for scoops, he got a tip that a demon was nearby, one that a magical girl would be sure to take care of

You warned him that it was too dangerous, and did everything you could to drag him away (just so you could secretly fight it yourself)

Your efforts were futile however, as he pushed his way through the streets of Japan, completely ignorant of the demon approaching him, happy to have practically willing bait 

Nikei didn't notice the demon until it was too late, when it had already grabbed him and made him drop his notepad 

He whined about losing his notepad but still tried to interview the demon, to which he'd get monstrous growls in response 

It wasn't until the monster nearly unhinged its jaw when the fear started to settle in, before hitting all at once

Just before your boyfriend was devoured, your transformation sequence ended and you used your abilities to get rid of the demon for good, but not without struggle

Nikei watched the fight with stars in his eyes, actually forgetting to write the action down

He couldn't be happier knowing he was dating a magical girl, and he wouldn't give away your identity if you don't want him to, but that sure as hell wouldn't stop him from writing articles on all of your fights 

Sometimes the memory comes back at him in the middle of the night, and he'll be fangirling to himself all over again

Mikado Sannoji:

He is also a fanboy when it came to magical girls, and he didn't even try to hide it

His room was probably covered in the merch (what Sora would've seen if she actually befriended him)

He wishes that he could be a magical girl himself! (He probably draws himself in the outfit-)

You think it's adorable, and his admiration is enough to make him completely oblivious 

Mikado is basically a war criminal, so he was definitely surprised when he was attacked by a demon so suddenly, and considering how powerful he is himself, that was one brave demon

However, the demon was stronger than Mikado anticipated, leaving a few scratches over his body, but Mikado kept flinging fireballs at it

He didn't even notice the claw extending towards him until it almost grabbed him, but you quickly pulled him out of the way, shielding him with your own body and single-handedly taking the demon down yourself

Mikado knew that magical aura anywhere! It was his S/o!!

He heals up any injury you could've possibly gotten during the fight, ignoring his own until you point it out, to which he almost cries because a magical girl is worrying about him

He cuddles and fangirls over you for the rest of the day as a thank you, and his room is now absolutely covered in any merch he can find of you 

Hajime Makonoichi:

Hajime thought magical girls were cool and respected what they did, but he wasn't a huge fanboy

The thought of his S/o being one never even crossed his mind, but he was a bit suspicious on how you skipped training with him due to being busy, but always seemed to keep yourself in shape somehow

One morning, a demon was sighted at a nearby park, and you just so happened to remember some plans that you forgot, and had to skip yet another training session

Hajime wouldn't admit it, but sometimes he had nightmares of you skipping a training session just to not come back at all, and being abandoned once again

Still, he had to take care of his health, so he decided to go on a jog

It would be an understatement to say he was a bit surprised to be grabbed and nearly mauled by a bloodthirsty monster when he was halfway through the jog

Being the Ultimate Boxer, he easily landed a few hits and almost knocked it out, but the demon's sharp claws gave it a major advantage, throwing Hajime to the ground and opening its large mouth

Hajime continued to fight back, and just before he was devoured, he heard the monster scream and let go of him

He didn't realize it was you and watched the fight, partly wanting to help, but it looked like his savior was defending herself pretty well

When the demon was defeated, and you turned around, his eyes widened and he almost had to take off his sunglasses

Suddenly it all made sense. Skipping training but still staying in shape... how did he not realize sooner?

Hajime thanks you for saving him, and is much more understanding when you have to skip training, but he doesn't treat you much differently 

He offers for you to change into your alter ego when training if it would make you stronger, and while he doesn't say it much, he's proud of you for what you do

Shinji Kasai:

He thinks magical girls are cool, but like with any girl, he gets very blushy when talking about them 

He'll read a few articles about them every now and then, but besides that, he just appreciates what they do 

He encountered the demon while he was on his job, putting out a fire that he didn't realize was a demon attack 

Low and behold, the demon hadn't left, and was angry that Shinji was ruining their work 

Shinji fought back as the demon charged at him, but his firefighting gear weighed him down, not to mention inhaling the remnants of the fire

He staggered back as the demon's claw left a sizeable hole in his fire suit, and just as the claw was about to finish him off....

Shinji felt someone grab him and pull him to safety, away from both the fire and the demon

He watched in awe as you destroyed the demon in mere minutes, bright red even when he didn't know it was you

And when he realized it was you....

He fainted. 

You had to carry him home and hold an icepack to his face just to stop him from overheating 

When you explained everything to him when he woke up, he almost fainted again

He's proud of you, and is always cheering you on! 

If he bought any merch of you then he would treasure it but he'll rather die than let you know

Yuki Maeda: He thinks magical girls are awesome! But he would never admit how much of a fanboy he is, with a decent amount of merch

The idea of you being one was nothing more than a silly thought

Yuki never expected to even meet a magical girl, and especially not date one!

However, he wasn't expecting to meet a demon either

He was attacked when he was walking home from school, just barely missing the demon's claws when it reached for him

He screamed and tried to fight back as he was pulled upwards into a near choke hold as the demon opened its wide mouth

Before he was touched, a familiar figure obliterated the demon in less than a minute, leaving him shocked and still half scared

When he saw it was you, he felt like an idiot

All those times you had to skip out on school and dates for your "job" and how you seemed so strong despite rarely training...

As the shock wore off and the dumbfounded look on his face began to fade, he felt almost star struck

Holy shit he was dating a magical girl-

After you walked him home and admitted your secret, Yuki never loved you more, knowing how kind and selfless you truly were

But sometimes he feels insecure, wondering why you were dating someone as ordinary as him, but you're always quick to reassure how much you love him 

He also secretly buys some of your merch and cuddles with it if your too busy fighting demons-

Syobai Hashimoto: He honestly didn't really care for magical girls

Through his time fending for himself, he encountered a few demons, all of which he escaped with only an inch of his life

He could barely imagine killing one of those things, especially for free

Syobai was preparing for a deal in an alleyway before the demon lunged at him from the roof

He was quick to pull out his knife, countering every attack the demon threw at him, before the demon was able to fling the knife into the streets behind him

Syobai didn't want to die, not when he had just gotten someone important to him, not when he finally realized that money wasn't his entire existence

He thought his best option was to stall until his employer got here, to which Syobai could shove them towards the demon and run

Unfortunately, his employer wasn't an idiot and bolted away at the sight of the demon

Just as Syobai thought to himself, "Fuck, I'm going to die," the demon was abruptly knocked away and killed by a familiar person in a mask

Through his job as a broker, Syobai developed the skill to piece together what people look like, even if just a small part of their face is visible, but he was definitely not expecting you to be the one in the mask

He managed to get his knife back as soon as you finished the demon off, and thanked you (Syobai rarely thanks people, so you better be grateful)

He keeps a calm exterior but is seriously impressed

Syobai is glad to know that you can defend yourself, as he sometimes worries what his job could do to his only loved one, and he won't tell you that you should start charging people money for saving them, but he implies it here and there

Yuri Kagarin:

He's a huge fan of magical girls on the basis that they are women. It's amazing that they kill demons but mostly because women.

He was able to notice odd changes in your behavior, and knew you were hiding something from him, but he was a man, so you probably had a good reason, right?

The two of you were out on a luxurious date when he was suddenly grabbed from behind and hoisted into the sky

If the demon seemed feminine than he would just accept him fate, finally getting to live his dream, but if the demon seemed masculine then he would fight back

Yuri is much stronger than he looks, and actually held his own pretty well

Still, he couldn't fight forever, and just as he almost passed out from exhaustion, he felt you grab him and pull him to safety before destroying the monster that tried to kill him 

Yuri could tell it was you just from a single look, and his starry eyes grew even bigger as he embraced you and told you how amazing you were

He wouldn't tell a soul your secret and would buy every bit of merch he can find of you 

He'd have his servants take care of you after every fight you're in, making sure you're completely healed before you can even think of encountering another demon

He is fully supportive of you and loves you with all his heart

author’s note — kaze this is such s silly idea i love it. and i’m doing okay, i hope you’re doing great as well. i’m ngl, i actually don’t know much about switch since i haven’t read much of their stories so hopefully this isn’t too ooc. (i have no idea how the hell natsume’s dialogue works so i just did whatever LMAO)

Natsume had known you since forever. You were there when he was at his lowest, right after the Five Eccentrics were crushed. You were there when he formed Switch and watched all his hardwork and efforts. You’re basically Switch’s #1 fanatic at this point. It’s not all that surprising to say that the magician had fallen in love with you.

However, there is a problem. A huge problem.

"[name], you came aGAIN." Natsume stated, a smile that was barely noticeable plastered on his face. His gaze slowly trailed down to your bag that was decorated with pins, acrylic keychains and even some small nuis.

You supported Switch as a whole. But, he wasn’t your oshi. Secretly, he was heartbroken. Instead, it was his fellow unitmate, Sora. Your bag was decorated with multiple pins and keychains of Sora. You always showed up with the same themed bag, and it would make him feel things that he really shouldn’t feel.

"Of course I did! When have I ever missed a Switch event?" You exclaimed, handing him a bag decorated with adorable little cats as its prints. "For you. I usually don’t bring gifts, but I did this time."

Natsume was flabbergasted. Raising an eyebrow, he asked, "Do you want someTHING from mE, [name]?" He tried to avoid looking at your bag as his eye subtly twitched. "This is omiNOUS, I must sAY."

You simply laughed, waving your hands as a sign of reassurance that you didn’t want anything in return.

"Don't tell the other two, but you’re actually the only one I bought a gift for. So shush, alright? I didn’t even get Sora anything." You confessed, giggling as you witnessed Natsume's face turn as bright as his hair. "Wahaha, you’re blushing, Natsume!"

The idol quickly turned away, huffing. "Am nOT! Don't spread such liES." Suddenly, the frustrations and thinking all disappeared and was replaced with a giddy feeling in his heart. "…No matTER. Thank you, [name]. I li— now gO. TiME is up."

Your shoulders slumped. "Aw… already? I wanted to talk to you more." Huffing playfully, you quickly showed him the mini-sized Natsume nui that you recently bought along with a Tsumugi one. Without even letting him get a chance to speak, you had already left the room.

Otakon 2023 Wrap-Up Post!

Otakon 2023 was this past weekend, and I gotta say I had a great time! (if that wasn’t obvious. From the deluge of posts about the digimon movie redubs). That was the main reason I went this year, and the screening took up a significant portion of my time there (WORTH. EVERY. MILLISECOND.), but during my one day I was able to blitz through the main halls as well. And I met @ahiddenpath ! That was AWESOME!!! She’s incredibly sweet, and we got to walk through Artist Alley together and talk (irl!!!) about Digimon, fandom, and life ☺️

My con haul!! I was like, “eh, it’s not that much” but some might beg to differ, including me, now that I look at it all together 😅 Most of it came from the Dealer’s Hall. There is one vendor who is a huge Digimon fan herself and sells a TON of amazing digi-merch, and that’s where most of my money went, ahahaha. She not only had some amazing hard-to-get figures and blind boxes (the Adv. kigurumi figures and Piedmon keychain set), but some Frontier 20th Anniversary merch as well! HOW CAN I SAY NO TO THAT??? That is a GIANT TAKUYA ACRYLIC STAND (which I would prefer to be a bit smaller), but aaah!!!! 🤩 I randomly got Sora from a blind box (💖), as well as Koji-in-pajamas (!!), and spent a little extra to get Takeru unwrapped. Unwrapped Jyou was the same price as a random blind box, because she said no one wants him and she always has extras! Can you believe it?? JYOU! 😭 Hidden and I agree that she’s not reaching enough of this audience on Tumblr, because HOW DO YOU NOT LOVE JYOU? Look at his face! He HAD to come home with me 😤

Ahem. Anyway, I found those oldschool Fox Kids-looking vinyl clings at a separate stall that sold a lot of vintage 90s stuff. Dub merch!! I do have a small collection of that.

The pencil-board… folder… thing… is two-sided and I believe it was originally an extra with a specific issue of Animedia that covered both tri and Appmon! I had to. Because APPMON (also I do love that tri art) 🥺

Some close-ups of the small stuff! The resin statue of the mountains came from Artist Alley (actually, a friend of Hidden!) because it reminds me of home. I also really liked the moon-shaped pendant. And a citrus pin! MY BRAND!! I have a shirt with Togemon on it (the cactus), but I have a hard time finding citrus merch, so YES, I can now rep my full screen name in an outfit 👍👍👍 One lone Goomy pin is my sole Pokemon purchase this year. “Hen with a Tie” cracked me up (if you’re an anime dinosaur like me, you know), and the Mimi button was actually a gift from Hidden! 😭

Finally, Takeru and Jyou side-by-side, where they belong ☺️ The contrast of their poses/expressions cracks me up!

So there you have it: the results of an intense and incredibly exciting digi-day! I’m still so shocked that my local con got this amazing premiere, and I got to watch the whole thing (er… when I wasn’t live-texting information to certain people who couldn’t be there in person, lol!). I’m SO incredibly grateful to the Discord group for notifying me about it, because otherwise I probably wouldn’t have even gone to the con at all this year!

Really hoping I can see my OG con buddy either at Otakon 2024 or her local con, so she can take a well-earned break from being a new mom and join in on the fun! 🤞🤞🤞

Hibiki ran down the alley, clutching the weapon in his hands. Shit, he should have known better than to go for the stash but come on! Selling the Quirk erasing drugs and the antidote would make him a fortune! Why wouldn’t he attempt to nab it as soon as he could? Idiot government agents never properly checked the janitors.

 He should have paid attention to the news. He’d have known-

 A gunshot rang out, and a stream of flames cut off his escape. Himiko froze, staring at the orange flames burning. Shit, shit, SHIT.

 “Hello, trash,” a voice spoke. Hibiki turned slowly to look at a man standing at the end of an alley, holding a gun with a red X on it. The man wore a black coat that flared dramatically, a military-style suit under it. Hibiki knew him on sight. “How about you make this easy,” the Varia Hero, Xanxus, grinned widely as he stared down his prey.

 The Witch Three were a trio of thieves who possessed Quirks that let them ‘curse’ a place or person, ‘bless’ them or make them fall asleep. They were triplet sisters who hit various stores to rob them blind. The group truly thought they were unstoppable, cursing heroes and stores alike to have such bad luck that the thieves escaped each time.

 So the red mist around them gave pause, each staring at it in shock.

 “What is that….” Curse murmured. 

 “I don’t know….” Bless said. It was Sleep who connected the dots.

 “It’s HER!” The woman pointed down the street. They’d just pulled their latest heist and had got off scot-free. Or so they thought until the third sister spotted a red-suited woman. 

 “Robbing a hero merch store?” The Scarlet Witch asked, eyes glowing red. “Such a… ironic idea.”

 He never crossed the line. He could have; some days, he wanted to, but he wouldn’t cross it. Instead, he simply used his power to get his own way in other manners. A promotion at his job, being given money from rich friends and convincing others to give him things. It wasn’t bad.

 He never crossed the line. But he debated about it. He stood before her, the beautiful woman he’d been watching for weeks. He wanted her. He wanted her so badly he could taste it. Just… just one touch, one press-

 Something stabbed him, and he jerked forward before stepping back. He couldn’t move his own body as it turned around and faced a woman dressed in what looked like a raggedy black dress, a pair of tights under her skirt. Her skin looked like two fabrics stitched together blockily, and her ribbon-like hair fluttered. A string extended from her hand towards him.

 “Hello,” Raggedy Ann said. “I got a tip you were here. Nice to find the serial conman.”

 Midoriya (and he’d had to fight to keep that, but it was HIS) Sora closed his locker door with a bang, glancing at the bench where his younger (by two minutes as she’d complained) sister Tomoe lay on her back, arm thrown over her head.

 “Oi, Dollface,” he said, smacking her arm. The patchwork woman groaned. “Get up; shift is over.”

 “Fuck off, asshole,” she grunted. “I had to deal with ‘unnecessary force’ paperwork and threats.” Sora frowned.

 “What the fuck?” The hero Xanxus asked. “Why?” 

 “Bastard tried to use his Quirk twice, so I took it, and they’re up in arms about that. I gave it back,” Tomoe whined. 

 “Idiots,” Sora decided. Tomoe grunted in agreement. “Want a ride? Or is your girl toy picking you up?”

 “Girl toy sounds weird… and no. Hina got tapped this morning to fly out for the week to Otheon, where she’s growing a new forest. Humarise had a few strongholds left there, and they blew up most of the primary forest in hopes of… something. Cults are fucked.” Tomoe said. She sat up with a yawn. Both siblings were dressed in street clothes, Tomoe wearing more gothic clothing than Sora’s smart casual clothing. “Where’s Akane?” 

 “Here,” the final sibling said. She came out of the changing room holding her hero uniform, yawning. “Ugh, if I have to hear another witch joke…” the Scarlet Witch muttered as she opened a locker. “We all heading to mom and dad’s?” She asked her two triplets.

 “Ma did break her arm on patrol yesterday,” Tomoe said. “Dealing with that and Haku? She’ll need a hand. And I can’t cook. So…”

 “Pops will be back in a few days,” Sora said. “I thought I’d stay with her until then.”

 “Same,” Akane laughed. “I told Aunt Fuyumi not to bother when we were talking earlier.”

 “How is she?” Tomoe asked curiously. “I haven’t seen or spoken to her in a while.”

 “Good,” Akane shrugged as Sora grunted. The woman ignored her brother. “Grandma is doing well too, though both still see their therapists.”

 “Good,” Sora voiced. Tomoe nodded.

 “Agreed,” the youngest triplet got off the bench with a groan. “Ugh. Should we go now?” It sparked agreement with the others, letting them troop out of the locker room for their agency. They were all independent heroes and ended up sticking to a paper agency when they got older. It was easier than making their own, and a few familiar faces ran it, so they felt safe.

 “Uncle Hitoshi!” Tomoe said, spotting a purple-haired man at the front desk. “Filling in for Sakura?” She asked.

 The older man smiled at the trio, looking exhausted. Dressed in a purple shirt and wearing a grey scarf, he also possessed only one arm, a prosthetic one lying on the desk in front of him. 

 “I am. She hasn’t had a vacation in a while, and I got threatened by everyone to take a break from patrols for a while.” Shinsou Hitoshi told his pseudo-niece. “You three done for the day?”

 “Yeah,” Sora said, snorting. “The trash were all weak today.” Shinsou hummed, giving him a look. “What?”

 “Be careful with calling people that Sora,” Shinsou warned him. His eyes flickered to his prosthetic and Sora scowled.

 “I’m not like that fucker. Calling everyone extra and thinking I’m the best. The trash are the idiots out there who take what they want and don’t try their best to arrive in their careers.” 

 “Says the former mafia assassin,” Akane joked.

 “Says the former Nazi.” Sora snapped. Tomoe rolled her eyes hard.

 “Both of you knock it off. I’m not getting between another ‘in YOUR past life’ quarrel.” she threatened.  “Both of you were terrible people before, and now you’re slightly better.”

 “Fine,” her older siblings said as Shinsou huffed a laugh. 

 “I’m not saying you are Sora, but I am saying that after the sports festival where I lost my arm, people really started cracking down on that attitude,” Shinsou reminded his nephew. “You get away with it by calling criminals you see committing crimes trash but I know you.”

 “Fine,” Sora grunted. “Come on Dollface, I’ll drive you to mum’s.” The triplets said goodbye, Shinsou not taking Sora’s attitude personally and left the agency. 

 “I'm reminded that Bakugou is getting out next year,” Akane said.

 “It was kinda harsh to have him in jail so long,” Tomoe voiced. “I mean, we were what, two? And now we’re twenty-two. He was a teenager.”

 “It wasn’t just the whole ‘blowing off an arm because he was mad he lost a fight in a high school sports festival,’” Akane said. “He was a bully before, and a lot of his actions were counted as assault. His victims piled on the charges now that they could have him tried for it. Mom sure got her licks in.”

 “I think he got charged as a villain thanks to all that. More so cause of mom’s false negative and late bloomer status,” Sora said. “He was shitty to her, I remember. Didn’t he make a threat towards her after learning Grand-Bitch arranged her marriage to Pops?”

 “About forcing her to be with him? Yeah,” Akane scowled. “Threaten the fourteen-year-old rape victim, you fucker.”

 “… he was a teenager,” Tomoe said softly. “He fucked over his entire life carelessly because he never received consequences, and it just added up, didn’t it?”

 “Huh, so you do remember a bit… yeah, that happened.” Akane nodded. “… I feel bad for him.”

 “I don’t.” Sora grunted. 

 “Different experiences,” Akane said simply. “I’m reminded of myself in my first life. Though in mine, I got coddled until I was nearly thirty and threw a fit when I got in trouble for mind controlling an entire town.”

 “… I always forget you guys were like huge villains back then.”

 “I was also a hero.”

 “The shitty boss dragged me to vigilantism.”

 “STILL!”

  When Tomoe opened the door to her parents’ house, she was surprised to see a man with red and white hair holding a broom. He also looked surprised to see her before grinning. His hair was in a long braid, and the beard he sported only matched his hair, being perfectly half-red and white.

 “Tomoe!” The buff man said, putting the broom down. 

 “Pops!” She said, throwing herself to him to hug him. Behind her, the other two triplets entered, smiling.

 “Hello, Dad,” Akane said.

 “Sup, Old Man,” Sora nodded to his father, who just chuckled. Todoroki Shouto liked how his stepchildren never seemed to be afraid to address him how they wished, nor did they fear him. 

 “Hello, Sora, Akane,” he nodded to them. “I got off my mission early, so I came home as soon as I could. I heard about your mother’s injury.”

 “Haku napping?” Tomoe asked, letting go of her father to take her shoes off.

 “She is, and Minato is at a friend’s. I wanted to speak to your mother about some things from a meeting I ended up roped into earlier and wanted it mostly private. Since you’re here, you can join.” Shouto said. The triplets traded confused glances.

 “Uhh… okay.” Tomoe said. They followed their father to the kitchen, where a green-haired woman was cooking, an arm in a sling. Hearing their footsteps, she turned around, revealing half of her face was covered in burn scars. 

 “Kids!” Todoroki Izumi beamed. “I wasn’t expecting this!”

 “Well, we thought Pops wasn’t here for the next fees days, so we thoughts we’d drop by,” Sora said, going to hug her. The other two let him, knowing he always got the first hug. 

 “Hina is gone for a week, and I can’t cook,” Tomoe said, snickering. “That’s mostly why I’m here.” Izumi just laughed, going to give the rest of her eldest kids hugs. 

 “Well, I’m happy you’re all here! Your father says he has something to talk about, so we can all hear.” Izumi turned to her husband. “I assume it’s about hero work? I’m off patrol for a week, Shouto, so…”

 “Not really,” Shouto admitted. “Let’s sit down.” He looked nervous, making the younger trio trade looks. Their dad never got nervous. He got uncomfortable, but they’d never actually seen him nervous before. 

 They all sat down around the table, looking at Shouto patiently. He jumped right in, not bothering with text. He was terrible with it anyway. “The board in charge of All for One, Shigaraki and Touya want to deage them.”

 “…”

 “… WHAT?!” The entire room asked at once. 

 “Is that ethical!?” Tomoe asked.

 “What the fuck? Why not just kill them?!” Sora asked.

 “Who can even do that? Eri?” Akane wondered.

 “They want us to raise them.” Izumi said flatly. 

 “They do,” Shouto said when the triplets fell silent in shock. “Given that All for One is your father, Touya my brother and Shigaraki your adopted brother…”

 “I don’t get why they just don’t execute them,” Sora said. 

 “Both Touya and Shigaraki were basically groomed into what they became,” Tomoe pointed out. “It would look bad to kill them for that, plus both have mental issues.”

 “And our grand-fuck?!” Sora asked.

 “His Quirk is valuable as hell,” Tomoe said. “I can take and give Quirks but I can’t use them or give them to other people. He can. Can you imagine how badly the government would want control over that?” She frowned. 

 “Exactly. I was asked to inquire of us, though we are the only ones being considered for Shigaraki and All for One. My brother Natsuo and Hawks are considered for Touya,” Shouto explained.

 “Oh god,” Tomoe suddenly snorted. “Imagine being Hawks and being asked: hey want to raise the villain you fucked as part of a honeypot mission who is the father of your child?” The younger trio began snickering at the thought.

 “Better him then me,” Izumi muttered, touching her face. Shouto reached out to squeeze her shoulder wordlessly. The triplets fell silent. “We have to take them in, don’t we? Anyone raising my father could use him for villany. Anyone raising Shigaraki to…” Izumi looked exhausted, staring at the table. The triplets traded looks.

 “I’ll talk to Hina,” Tomoe said. “We discussed kids before and hey, why not raise All for One? Easy enough to claim he’s my bio kid with my Quirk. We can rename him to. Not sure about Shigaraki though.”

 “I’ll take him,” Akane said. “Vision and I also discussed kids but given our first go around, decided it best to maybe not do it the way we did.” she smirked. “Having reality warpers as children is hard.” 

 “I’ll take Touya if both Uncle and the chicken can’t.” Sora offered. “I ain’t kid material. I will be like the fucker if I have a kid.”

 “Sora,” Izumi frowned at him. “You’re a good man.”

 “I may be, and maybe the shitty midget is to, but we ain’t together yet and I know I’m no good for kids.” his words had his sisters zeroing in.

 “Yet?” Tomoe demanded. Sora scowled.

 “Oi, I ain’t talking about that right now. He’s eighteen and getting his feet under him.”

 “But you were together in your first life,” Akane pointed out. “Like Vision and I.”

 “Fuck off, both of you.” Sora said. The triplets began arguing, tabling the conversation on the deaging process. None of them wanted to talk about it anymore then they did. The parents let it happen, honestly not wanting to discuss it either.

 After an hour, during which the bickering over relationships died down to be replaced with complainign about patrols, a young boy with white and green hair appeared in the kitchen. He looked surprised to see everyone.

 “Tomoe! Akane! Sora!” he beamed.

 “Hey, Minato,” Tomoe said to her younger brother as Sora nodded and Akane waved. “How was your friend’s?”

 “It was awesome! She has the newest Hero Brawl game, so I played as Mum and totally beat her when she played as Dad.” Minato said, going to sit at the table. Izumi, who’d gone back to cooking with Shouto, giggled. 

 “She always kicks my ass,” Shouto said, looking fondly at Izumi. 

 “You always leave yourself open,” Izumi said, nudging him. He wrapped an arm around her waist to hug her in answer. The kids smiled at the scene.

 “Hey, Mum, Dad?” Minato asked, watching them. “Can I ask you guys questions later?”

 “About what?” Izumi asked.

 “We have to talk about our parents' jobs at school, and it got me curious about how you guys became heroes,” admitted Minato. The two traded surprised looks. “I don’t like… know everything, but I know you two were engaged when you started UA and that Mum had the triplets already….”

 “It’s a bit of a story,” Izumi mused. “But… maybe you’re ready for it. I know the triplets haven’t heard everything either.”

 “Huh?” Tomoe asked. “We haven’t?” Even the other two looked surprised. 

 “No,” Izumi mused. “But really, it all started when I was twelve and pregnant….”

Notes:

-Basically for this AU: Izumi had triplets instead of just Tomoe. Two of them are in fact reincarnations of Xanxus from KHR and Wanda from the MCU. Due to having triplets, Izumi needed help which led to her agreeing to be engaged to someone Inko chose- which was Todoroki.

-Xanxus still has Sky Flames, it’s just they’re his Quirk now while Wanda is still a reality warper if just not to the level that she is in canon. Tomoe here still has Strings; it’s just they later discovered she has part of her grandfather’s Quirk.

-I don’t like Wanda in the MCU, but she’s the one I’m most familiar with. So in this AU, she was nabbed after the events of WandaVision by sorcerers who held her accountable and gave her a shit ton of therapy and she became a better person. Her crimes were not brushed under the rug. 

-okay so, Shinsou and Bakugou fought in their first sports festival and Bakugou ended up blowing Shinsou’s arm off when after Shinsou used his Quirk to make the other walk out, he LOST it and attacked. It was sudden and shocking, Midnight and Cementoss just a bit to slow. Due to this, schools started really cracking down on nasty attitudes in students.

-For those wondering given I said that some of the plot lines/pairings are what will occur in the actual POTSOD- no. This is not what will happen. Just gonna toss that out right away.

-Bakugou’s past came to haunt him. Every time he physically bullied someone (which we KNOW he did thanks to canon showing Izuku stepping in) he got slapped with an assault charge to it. Coupled with targeting Izumi, paired with his suicide bait and a threat to force her to be with him after he lost his cool learning she was engaged: he was labelled a villain. Issue was he didn’t MEAN those threats. He just didn’t think about them when he said it. However… yeah. (I don’t think Bakugou is that bad. He really isn’t I just wanted to show how he got so comfortable in being untouchable and that none of his actions against Izumi were taken seriously he did whatever he wanted)

-Vision did show up in MHA somehow, and he got back with Wanda. -the ‘shitty midget’ Xanxus talks about is Tsuna cause X27 is a fav ship of mine. Yes, Tsuna also reincarnated. He and Xanxus aren’t together yet but they were together before. Tsuna right now though is focusing on himself.

October Part 3

With merch still at the front of my mind and the rekindled love for Kamen Rider W thanks to Fuuto Pi, I wanted to design a double (ha!) sided charm of Shotaro and Phillip.

Guuuuuh!!!! I can't get over how cute these turned out!!!

Though I was practicing with my own art I wanted to try practicing on something my husband drew for me years ago of my OCs Sora and Tracey.

It felt nice to be able to color something of his work and honestly I hope I can do more down the line.

And then I finally decided to tackle a drawing I did about four yearscago, back when Stormblood was the newest expansion. I drew a picture of Luscia as her AST with a ball point pen, which was something I rarely did and said I would go over it digitally. I tried once with a sketchbook app on my old tablet which didn't work, forgot all about when I started to work with the Wacom tablet and CSP and tried it for the test on the old tablet with ibis only for it to look like a hot mess. But now? This is the before and after...

Not having the moon look like a banana does wonders lol.

Old or new, going back to previous works can do wonders in some way. Remember the Hythades standee? Ever since making it I kept thinking it would make a near/cute print.

I. Love. This. Piece! Seriously, I am amazed at myself that I captured my standee in such a way. This is easily in my top three pieces I made this year.

Of course with looking back to past art I needed to see what they looked like on the tablet with the hopes of them becoming some kind of merch.

Happy Halloween! Digimon Adventure in Ikebukuro P’PARCO Limited Base

And that's a wrap on Digimon Con 2024!

It lived up to it's past versions where it was used as a platform to discuss various information already teased beforehand, with some exciting news for Digimon TCG and other parts of the franchise that don't get to shine in DigiFes due to the latter being an animation focused event.

The hosts mentioned several times, that look forward to the summer event, which means that we can expect new stuff to come out of DigiFes 2024.

I also liked how they didn't avoid the question about a new Digimon Game and just gave a vague answer like it's under development, at least we know something is in the works lol.

Agumon Real Time Talk was the highlight for me, Sakamoto san earnestly tried to connect with all Digimon fans around the world and that was really fun to watch.

The 25th Anniversary Digivice was also a really cool announcement. It's not just a prop anymore but actually functional with a lot of fun additions, the voice acting, anime music and scenes are particularly additions that I liked. Taichi and Yamato versions were expected, but I like how Piyomon's VA immediately shouted about where is the Sora Version, she's keeping it real for the rest of us who do like the other kids too!

I wish they'd shared more details about the Manga platform and Novel competition, I feel like that part was sort of glazed over without much details but just a "hey this is happening", okay cool but what exactly will it entail? Considering that they use this event to share the information, this announcement felt more like a tweet which will be elaborated later on.

The Card Game segment was the most exciting I feel, though I'm not well versed in TCG at all. New Digimon being revealed + live reading chapter 00 of Digimon Liberator was pretty cool. They also shared that Liberator will have a web comic and a novel, each will feature different protagonists and stories, the hosts contemplated amongst themselves whether the two different protagonists would get a chance to meet each other...?

I also liked them showing off all the China exclusive products at the end, always good to end the show with more fomo for foreign fans lmao.

As an Adventure only fan, I guess I have to look forward to DigiFes and the 25th Anniversary Exhibition planned for summer for any real news, for now all the new merch and collabs will suffice.

Finally making a post with all my Digimon merch! It looks like a lot, but that’s mostly because a lot of these photos are the same items from different angles. Also please ignore the Pokemon, Cardcaptor Sakura, and Ace Attorney stuff mixed in. Those being my other main fandoms, lol.

Things of note:

- That blue embroidered pillow was made for me by one of my best friends, so it’s one of a kind. I love it so much

- The thing in the background of the last photo is a blanket I got on redbubble, and please look at that tiny little Ikkakumon cup. It’s like 1/3 of a shot glass lmao and I forgot to add it to the photo with all the similar merch, but I felt like it needed to be seen

- Daisuke’s D3 was my first ever piece of official Digimon merch, followed by Ruki’s digivice. The only other “real” digivice is that clear one I bought years later. The rest are all from various Etsy shops I got for cosplay over the years.

- I am frustratingly missing Mimi from that one ancient set of figures. If anyone happens to have that Mimi and are willing to sell it, I would happily negotiate a price.

- I’m sorry the itabag is atrocious looking. I tried to stuff too many keychains into it and it’s uhhhh too much.

- Not pictured: I have Sora’s crest and Ken’s crest, but they are mixed in with my cosplay stuff and I didn’t feel like finding them. You can see Jou’s crest in the itabag, and there’s a special Crest of Miracles you can see mixed in with the Digivices.

- if there’s any unofficial merch you’re curious about, just ask and I can try to find the shop I originally bought it from. Some of them were a long time ago and are no longer around.

Project Sekai Characters' Favorite Enstars Units/Songs

Note: these are all very much headcanons with a little bit of personal bias. Feel free to add your own ideas!

Leo/need

Ichika: listens to Trickstar (protagonists supporting protagonists). Generally likes all the idols and supports them all.

Saki: The only shuffle unit I currently know is A to Z (and will probably always be my favorite) and I think Saki would like it too. Occasionally listens to fine with Tsukasa because he likes Wataru.

Honami: also a fan of Trickstar, particularly Infinite Star. Does drum covers of their songs as practice.

Shiho: UNDEAD, mainly for Koga and how he plays guitar. Also uses their songs for practice.

MORE MORE JUMP!

Minori: she'll claim she loves all idols equally but is biased towards ALKALOID, specifically Aira. She sees a lot of herself in him so she quickly becomes his fan and always cheers him on. Wants to see a Live but is currently broke from spending too much on idol merch.

Haruka: surprisingly, she's a fan of Tatsumi when he was a solo idol. Was devastated when he got injured but is happy to see him with a new group. Also finds the rest of ALKALOID endearing.

Airi: because she did a lot of variety shows, she probably knows every Ra*bits and Ryusetai choreography by heart. Is inspired by Nazuna and Chiaki because of how much work they put into their units.

Shizuku: respects Knights and Makoto as both models and idols. Tried listening to UNDEAD to see why Shiho likes them and is now probably a bigger fan than her.

Vivid BAD SQUAD

Kohane: big Ra*bits fan and also a fan of MaM. She finds Madara's songs inspirational and listens to them while she does homework.

An: Eden, particularly Dance in the Apocalypse. Also a huge fan of Arashi's solo (girls supporting girls)

Akito: huge Crazy:B fan. Probably tried to imitate Rinne once and got yelled at by Ena.

Touya: becomes a Crazy:B fan by proxy because of Akito but also slowly becomes a Valkyrie fan by using their music as exposure therapy. Particularly fond of Artistic Partisan and occasionally listens to fine because of Tsukasa

Wonderlands x Showtime

Tsukasa: a fan of fine purely for Wataru (dramatic theater nerd solidarity). Listens to his solo religiously. Also a huge fan of Ryuseitai

Rui: idk how to explain myself but UNDEAD. Also Switch for the magic aesthetics.

Nene: big fan of Trickstar and Eden because they helped make game theme songs

Emu: Ra*bits!! Loves their aesthetic and how super joyful their songs are. Constantly sings and dances their songs in the middle of practice. Also loves Sora's solo

Nightcord at 25

Kanade: is a big fan of Leo as a composer. Occasionally listens to Knights but doesn't listen to much because she's too busy composing. Occasionally listens to Shu's solo and moratorium wings for the vibes

Mafuyu: doesn't particularly care for any of the idols. However, she thinks she feels warm when she listens to Knights' Silent Oath and gets colder when she stumbles upon Mika's solo or past Valkyrie.

Ena: appreciates Valkyrie's aesthetic and surprisingly Jun from Eden; she listens to their songs while she draws. She also used to occasionally listen to HiMERU when he was a solo idol, and she hears him daily because Akito blasts Crazy:B, but she feels like he sounds different from before and isn't as interested.

Mizuki: big fan of Knights mainly for Arashi because she's a trans icon. Probably likes all of Pretty 5 so they occasionally listen to some of their songs or at least their solos. Jewel Stone always plays when they get ready for their day

Bonus

Ken (An's dad): was a fan of DEAD MANZ before they disbanded. He'd occasionally check in for updates and was happy to see Rei create a new unit and seemed happier. Would take An to see an UNDEAD Live.

Harumichi (Touya's dad): got into Valkyrie because of Touya. Appreciates the use of classical music and the stories they create with their songs. Probably also likes the original fine and Leo as a composer.

hey it's me again :D first thank you for your reply to my Gingka and Nile friend/ship headcannons. I wanted to reply-reblog but when I about done tumblr glitched on me and I lost all that I've written ;w; (that's the second time it happened, makes me lose motivation every time)

But this time I would like to read your take on your ideas and headcannons for Sora. We all know the show done this boy more than just dirty. I personally headcannon he forms a group with Kakeru and Ryuto but I would love to read your takes :D

yep yep yep! just a disclaimer that I didn't watch shogun steel and i don't plan on watching it, still haven't read the manga either. So I don't really know much about Kakeru at all except that he's Kyoya's little brother. I saw some screenshots of shogun steel and the one with Sora and Ryuto on it!!

I really like the idea of them being friends

But okay, so Sora, I really really want him to be a close friend of Kenta. They kept in touch and they go out of their way to meet for tournaments, even if it means travelling pretty far.

I'm thinking, as soon as right after the events of fusion or masters, goodies and knock-offs of Gingka's image start to be sold. Not approved by gingka btw, and kinda ugly lmao. And among the merch there's a replica of Gingka's scarf, and I'm thinking Sora would need every bit of self control he has in his fanboy body to not buy it :')

He has pretty busy parents but the fact that he's a child and has to go to school and all that (yes I insist on at least some of those kids to have a normal life pls) he can't travel as much as he would want to. I'm thinking he could quit school at 15 and go on his travels then, for that he studied very hard to learn english and every skill he would need in his adventures. It was a requirement from his parents, and I think it helped him a lot. He was not really fit to learn in school, it was very hard for him to conform to school's way of teaching, but having this goal to travel and get better at beyblade motivated him a lot. It also showed him that it's not learning that he didn't like, it was the way he was taught.

So he learned english while watching foreign beyblade matches over and over again, analysing the fights the best he could on video and meanwhile practicing beyblade too.

He plays soccer and also some volleyball!! And that's another thing beside beyblade that helps him bond with the locals in a lot of places

Sora meets Ryuto during his travels, he gets involved in an adventure with him. And I think it’d be funny if he was acting super weird around him for the first day they are around each other (they haven’t even introduced themselves cause they’re so focused and excited about a treasure or a cool hidden beyblade place). And then he just blurts out “ARE YOU RYUGA??” and Ryuto’s really confused. “You mean that guy who tried to control the world with a beyblade tournament 4 years ago?”.

I think Ryuto wouldn’t often have access to a TV and he would have heard the stories about battle bladers so he doesn’t know what Ryuga looks like and he just doesn’t know the guy! Also Sora being the only member of the cast to point out the obvious resemblance?? Much needed, anyway, they become very close and decide to travel together from now on. Sora notices the parallel between them and Gingka and tries his hardest to keep it to himself because he knows it would annoy Ryuto a lot. His fanboy heart is pounding at the idea of being “basically like Gingka”

Sora loves dinosaurs, Ryuto does too and they share a lot of cool facts about them and in their travels they like to stop by cool museums (yes, Sora willingly in a museum)

Ryuto also loves insects and Sora is very squeamish about them

What I like about Sora and the very few moments we saw him, is how seeing and sharing time wih Kenta helped him grow. At first he only wants to do everything like Gingka without accepting his unique traits and identity. Kenta shows him (and us) how much knowing Gingka helped him become a better blader and be more confident in who he is, while still having his individuality. And I think that’s why I imagine Sora transformed after that, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have setbacks sometimes, but he matured a lot in my mind.

Ryuto likes to wear cool jewellry and Sora is his hype man

Sometimes they enter tournaments together, often times battling each other in the final, sometimes only one joins and the other cheers him on very loudly. Either way, at the end of the day they go buy themselves a treat and explore the city. Sora always has a lot of energy and has the best time travelling, Ryuto needs more rest I think and is a little less extraverted and comfortable in big cities but they both love this lifestyle. I imagine them living like this for many years

Ryuto’s kindof hard to approach at first, the adventure he was headed for the day he met Sora required someone else for the trip and it’s by chance that he met Sora. Maybe he was about to get in trouble with other bladers and Ryuto helps him out of it, but notices Sora’s skills. They go on this exciting adventure together and talk a lot about beyblade but Ryuto doesn’t really want to make a friend so he keeps the conversation very on the surface. But Sora’s not really happy with this attitude, it’s not that obvious but he notices it and finds it a bit rude. So they fight a little (even when they’re friends I like to think they have no problem fighting and telling point blank what’s bothering them) and Ryuto’s like “FINE” and begins opening up lmao. I know it’s weird but I think it’s funny. They don’t really become friends overnight, but Sora’s determined to get to know Ryuto better and they talk a lot so by the end of the adventure they don’t want to leave each other

Soon they get a reputation as talented bladers and maybe Kenta would talk to Sora about Kakeru who is rougly the same age as them, and they meet the next time they’re in Japan. Once again I don’t know much about Kakeru sorry I can’t think of ideas for him

but yeah, my hcs for these two!! I had to come up with a lot of stuff cause I never really think about them. But it was really cool to do!!! I love these “oh so very underdevelopped” boys. The writers’ rejects

Also thanks to everyone who sent me asks of characters to make hc about, I’ll definitely do them, they just take a long time to write. Also I’m sure I’m making spelling or grammar mistakes, english’s not my 1st language and I’m writing these without a draft and as they come to me so sorry :’) But if you spot mistakes and want to help me correct them you can tell me in my dms, I’d appreciate it :D

edit: you know what, he did buy the scarf, why not. He’s like 15 he’s not made of stone! He doesn’t wear it but keeps it and is attached to it!! yeah!!! I need to let these characters be weird and maybe a little cringe  it’s important
